I think I'm going to start with a dark/thermal controller and work from there...it kind of annoys me a little that the new dark (which looks really, REALLY cool) and the old dark don't match now. Maybe they'll give us an option in the future to make all the old dark sets look more like the newer ones, but considering how much work it'd be to reanimate all the dark sets, probably not. :/

I missed the time for the STF, but we failed the Mo run for that as well. Apparently, despite Abrahms taunting it, the Thorn Tree decided I looked tasty. Crunch!
Thanks a bunch to everyone who hung in there today, you're all troopers.
Expect this event again at some point in the future, it was a blast!

Finished the LGTF in an hour and twelve, but Hamidon was out for my blood...
Apparently he remembers last week's awesome Hamidon Raid and he wanted revenge...
Failed by a death at the Hamidon, but it was a most excellent attempt.

I wasn't planning on a waiting list, but if someone doesn't show, I'll see if you're online. Added you to the roster for the MoSTF.
We now have one spot open for the ITF, which I will fill from whoever's around if we don't have a post calling it in the morning.
I have changed my toon for the MoSTF to my corr. We'll figure out who else can swap to what as we go for the rest of the TFs.

Native Vegas dweller here. In all of my nerd circles and cliques in college, I have found no one who plays City of Heroes. Literally, no one.

Hey all, I recently moved to the LV area. My fiance and I are both CoH players and were wondering if there are any other CoH-ers in the area we could get together with sometime! Surely, in a city with a population of over 475,000 people, we can't be the -only- ones, right?
Any fellow Vegas players out there? -
I think there's a miscommunication here, and that's my fault for not being clear: we're not going to be running for a blitz raid on Feb.11th; it's something we're working towards doing eventually.
If people will start bringing nukes more regularly, that would help immensely, since recently I'm the only one who's been bringing them.
A few of the PERC reps from other servers may show up at upcoming raids to participate/lead as well, so we may be getting to see a few other strategies! -

Heh, I actually really enjoy it. If someone wants to take alternate Saturdays to lead either redside or blueside raids, that'd be awesome!
The Hami Raid on February 4th will be canceled because I plan on joining Stone's event, which you can read more about here. On February 11th, raids will resume, and I'm hoping to see as many folks bring nukes as are able to-I'd like to try just blitzing the heck out of the Hamidon and seeing how fast we can take it out! -
Hey all! I've been running the Hamidon Raids every other week since November, and I figured it was about time I actually put it up on the forums so people would stop asking me when the Hamidon Raids are.
There will be one today, Saturday January 14th, forming up at 3 pm PST/6 pm EST. Please bring any character you like as long as they are over level 45 (or you won't be able to get into the Hive). If you can bring Warburg nukes, that's great! If you can't, well, that's fine too!
There will be a killshot prize for the lucky person who manages to get the last hit in on Hamidon this week. One lucky winner will receive a 500 million influence prize! If you need easy inf and you're feeling lucky, this is the way to go! Depending on how well it goes over, I may continue doing this for future raids.

EDIT: After a practice run, we've decided to withdraw. Although we worked well together, sadly, the Hamidon laughed at our attempts to hold the green mitoes, and we were foiled.

Igne, @locutus silens The only thing is, I have to lead the Hamidon Raid at 3 pm PST/6 pm EST on Saturday, so it'd have to be either before or after that. Other than that, I'm not on a schedule, so let me know what's a good time for you.

I'd like to sign up, but I'm lacking a partner. Anyone got a kin who feels up to trying this with a stone/fire/fire tank? I have holds and melt armor, and I can deal some decent damage.

For now, I have a sidekick...Buddy the Wonder-Chihuahua! Of course, all his stats except charisma were dump stats...and I do spend a lot of time rescuing him from the "evil" construction workers outside...or rescuing them from him. >.>
