  1. As I stated in my post above, Ive been in 3 halloween events. Never has it taken 50 Eochai kills. And I believe its 10% in zones level 20+. At any rate, after 6 and a half hours of grinding Eochai, and 104 merits later, we took our 2 teams and went to PI. Got him after 3 Eochai kills. Which is exactly like I remember for the past events.

Whether it was "bad luck" or a coding problem for Talos, I couldnt tell you. Our teams never got one to spawn there. However, there is a couple people that I teamed with during this time that said they were able to get him to spawn, during this event but on another day.
  2. Would it at all be possible for this patch to screw up Event Jack's spawn rate? I understand his rate of spawn is very low, this is my 3rd hallowen event to participate in. As of this minute, my team and I have killed Eochai for the 50th time in 5 hours and 30 minutes ( Give or take 30 minutes ) without 1 single Jack spawn, in Talos Island.

So this is my question, was this an intended out come for this event? Using the past events as a reference, it only took 9 Eochai kills at max . That was out of 6 alts, and one of them killed Jack twice. This years event started with about the same for me so far. Join a GM team, grind Eochai a bit, then blam Jack spawns. 5 hours is hardly "a bit" in my book.
  3. *Commando

You could play off the idea of a Malta Engineer . Give him a gun turret, maybe a shield drone with a +7.5% defense bonus, a henchman buff for +dmg, or even a mortar turret for some stationary AoEs ( not the same as /traps, this one should be purely AoE damage with a stun/KD effect ).

    *Soldiers (T1 pet)

Earlier posts had some good ideas for these. But Im all for removing the grenade for medic, and giving them to the other T1s. Again, medic needs to use his heals more in combat. During the halloween event I decided to go ahead and get the new badges for my Merc/ MM, and the medic rarely used his heal in combat. I do not agree, the medics I know from past wars risked their own life to save others. That means healing in combat!

    *Spec Ops

Love these guys. Again, as already suggested, they need a crit for being in steath with their sniper shot, reduced recharge rate for mezzes and give them a grenade for some -def/-resist. Or even an attack with a toxic DoT.

As for serum, theres nothing left for me to say about this power that hasnt already been said.

Overall, I dont think this set is terribly out balanced. It just needs some recharge times reworked, and maybe a few extra perks for the 2nd upgrade. Back in the day, before PvP was reworked, my Merc/dark MM would eat pretty much any AT.

*Also an aura that gives +resist to confuse for commado
  4. Ill start off with saying I love the visuals for this power set, thats the main thing that draws me to this it.

    And for a couple ideas...

    *Propel
    A. Keep the same damage, animations and KB, but make it a cone effect

    B. Have it cause the "chain induction" effect, based around the idea the object propelled is going to bounce around a bit. This could be done as a % chance to hit targets around your first target. 100% for first jump and then reduce it by 20% chance for another jump. The jumps would cause KD, instead of KB

*Lift (as is there isnt enough flying foes to make its secondary effect that useful)

    A. Using the idea of making it an AoE, why not have it similar to TK from mind control. It lifts and holds the target and all other targets around him in the air (Soul Storm's hold animation for this would be perfect ). Using the same numbers like TK, 10ft radius, mag 3 hold, and 3.12 endurance a second. Only instead of a repel, lift the target into the air, even if they arent held.

    B. Leave it as is, just add a secondary effect for a good 10s-15s. Stun, hold, -dmg, -resist, or -def. Base this idea around your target smashing into the ground, knocking the wind out of them. Making them less effective at fighting/defending.

*Dimension Shift ( More often than not, youll get teams yelling at you for using this in normal rotation )

    A. Turn it into a team buff. By putting your team half way between 2 dimensions, you increase their defence/resistance by 25%-50%. Same duration, same recharge.

    B. Similar concept to Illusion/ and make it a phase shift for the team. This would turn it into another situational skill.

    C. PBAoE hold toggle. Similar to Radiation Emissions' Choking Cloud

*Gravity Distortion ( this would be just a small little bonus effect )

    A. Add a small AoE KD or immobilize, similar to the sleep effect for Blind from Illusion.

The simplest and best solution would be to get rid of Prestige altogether. It is now, always has been, and will remain, a rip-off; a clunky artifice to limit achievement and force continued time spent online to compensate for either/or states of earning... Influence I need to craft, or Prestige I need to support my SG?

The exchange rate is an insult to players' intelligence, and the whole idea of YET ANOTHER form of "currency" is so transparent a deception as to be absurd, yet in addition to Influence (or Infamy, a pointless piece of fluff-naming) we now have not only Prestige but "Vanguard Merits"... yawn.

Leave the Debt, Wipe the Prestige and the Merits, and make everything an Influence-based economy.

THAT'S fair to everyone; you may be behind the curve in Influence-earning to start, but you will know that every point you earn during your gameplay will be universally valid.

I would have to say this would be very nice, not having to farm pillboxes or mobs for hours trying to earn pres and then doing that all over again to get inf, give us one form of cash to use for everything...makes things simpler and ore user friendly. But this would also call for soe form of donation system for your SG, so anyone can donate however much inf they want the SG to have. Great idea, would love to see it happen, but unlikely
