The wait time went down once floppies came around for the C64. You could do some really cheatastic things just by swapping different floppies around while playing or saving in some games.
I remember hooking it up to my 13" black and white tv, wishing I could play Wizard of Oz (on 4 separate discs) on the color tv. -

Maybe, just maybe when we get villainified Empaths fighting heroified Pain Dominators in PvP, they'll see how silly the position is and change it. But even if that change of heart were to happen, they wouldn't have the time to do anything about it until after GR is released, so, it's not worth bringing up again until then. -

I was wondering why some powersets show Bright or Dark options, and others only show Color Tintable, even though its the same animation.
For instance:
Empathy Healing Aura is the same animation as Radiation Radiant Aura, yet the rad aura has the option for Bright or Dark and the emp power only has Color Tintable.
Is there some small difference in the animation that I'm not noticing or ?? -
Sounds fun. I'd love to participate, but I'm too lazy to make up a team. So if anybody needs a 4th or a backup/alternative, put me down! I have a couple of toons with pvp builds and if nothing else I have a tank with taunt dangit.

I allow my 10 year old daughter to play the game, however I am always sitting next to her when she plays, and she only teams with people that I know and play with, and even then I'm very selective about who I let her team with. And I'm also usually on skype or vent with the person she's teamed with. When she plays I close all the chat tabs except for team chat, so she can feel like she's interacting with the person(s) on the team. I agree with Arwen that it's not the job of the game mod's/tv show/movie/website, it's the parents job to police what their children are looking at.
On my daughter's very first day of 1st grade, she came home to tell me about all the great things she learned that day. Including what she learned on the bus, which was how to flip the bird and the word sex, so CoH is the least of my problems.
P.S. This is coming from a person with a toon named Debbie Does Paragon, had it nerfed, and fought to get it back and won

When/how are the raids announced, I don't believe I've ever seen them in the zone broadcast and I know (back when) that was one of the ways the raids were announced.
What are the current requirements for the Hami Tank?
Other than the Halloween event, when are/were the raids held?
You can join the channel JFA2010 or Chrome Support
Chrome support is family oriented and JFA2010 is a little more adult friendly.
Hami's are announced in the MoTD when one is scheduled. Also announced are Rikti Ship Raids, PvP and various other events. Anyone can contact a mod and have an event listed that they would like word to get out about.
