I do not play for the conversation, that is what my RL family, friends and work relationships are for; when I log into CoH I want to play. Freedom has an abundance of teams, and because I'm long since out of the "play only with a small group of people" phase in my gaming life, I very much prefer to PuG rather than the alternative. -

I actually saw some hub-bub going down last night, reminded me of the exact reason I can't stand Champion's main channel anymore and quit it.
Sixy got kicked...but I didn't see a reason for it...then again I wasn't paying strict attention...but...still, unless you're really torturing peeps no one needs to be kicked.
Sorry that went down Sixy, from all the chat I've seen across the three channels on Freedom I'm subscribed to since I've been on your server, you're alright in my book. -

I am a recovering Championite who is overly happy to have moved to Freedom...when I can get on and play these days I always find teams, mostly pleasant experiences and a good pool of players to...well...play with!
I shall be expanding my slots here, can't wait until busy season at work is done!! -

I was on a noobish team not that long ago on Freedom and really pissed them off when I decided to take matters into my troller hands and bring the group to us since the damn tank was picking his nose...

And from what we've been told so far about Incarnates we may want to switch our builds around more often once the system is fully implemented, which, as everyone has mentioned is currently a pain in the rump.
For something that's such a large part of what you want your character to be, it's much too much of a messy time consuming process.
I really hope the Devs have a heart and give updating respec'ing a thought.
If they could configure a process remotely akin to Mids Hero Builder it would be hailed as the single greatest quality of life update in the games existence. -

I'll say this much, because you have "RTF MoTD" in that motd CA, u should see how peeps answer each other in that channel when someone asks a question.
And, there are times when stuff purges if ur on long enough and you can't read the damned thing anymore.
End O'story or not, CA, it seems pretty inappropriate and has opened the door to plenty of people telling others asking a simple question to RTFMOTD and that is rude. Period. End of story, as u say.
U know I've always said you are at least, for the most part, even keeled with the way u run the channel but some things are just not needed. RTF is one of them IMO. -

Last night there were folks that wanted to start up a Kickball match. They talked about it for at least ten minutes before they started, and answered several questions about it from a few new people. They got people to show up for it, and the whole thing was perfectly civil. No one complained "OMG pvp talk in BMT! That's not what this channel is for!" (never mind that there are pvp badges, which came up in conversation) No one complained that they couldn't find other teams because the channel was talking about PvP and drowning out their requests. Someone advertised a match, they talked it up for a bit to get interest, and then it stopped...all by itself. This happens every day. People can conduct civilized conversations all by themselves, even when the teacher is out of the classroom.
Let's try to do more of this.

OH, and who really gives a flying **** if there are other channels? Not for nothing, but I rarely get redside teams or SFs on BMT of Champion...guess it happens when I'm not on? -
Putting the drama portion of this thread aside, I signed up for it - anything to help redside teaming is all good for me!
I'm not a full member of the cool kids club so I don't have the amount of teaming options or magic chat channels that others do so if this helps promote redside teaming, so be it! -

No more tails lying about like dead weight! You will now be able to select tail body parts that will react to your movement and have a swaying or swishing idle animation mode. You will need to go to a tailor to upgrade to the animated version.
