    Being a gamer, one that has played dozens(that wasn't dramatic) of MMO's, knows that this type of whining exists in every game that has PvP.. Why? People instinctively want to be the best, they can't just accept that they're built for several strengths and weaknesses.. There IS NO WAY to fix this, most MMO's with PvP have tried, the only game I've ever seen have success with this issue, ended up taking every class skill away, until everyone had the same attacks and abilities, then everyone just complained some more..

    Right now, it's as fair as it's going to get, with the exception of a few ridiculous issues that need to be fixed. I personally see nothing wrong with one-shotting myself, especially since I only seem to be able to do it to defenders and controllers.. I'm a level 30 Stalker with full slotted SO's, 4 dam, 2 acc on AS, used with BU, not to mention I'm energy melee, and plenty survive my attacks.

    People lose, people win, heck I lose all the time if people are smart enough to use holds on me, and 4/10 times I'm seen. People just need to learn their way around the issues, they need to think- wait, scratch that, people don't like to think, they'd rather just cry and complain.

    Incorrect, I have EM (the strongest power sset for Stalkers) and I can only one shot kill defenders and controllers, WITH build up, anything else requires red inspirations, not to mention I have my AS fully slotted with 4 damage SO's and two ACC SO's. Anything else is reported to have roughly 200-600 HP left, if not more depending on their build and AT, through testing. If you're anything other than a defender or control and die in one hit, it's your fault for building your AT to be weak to such a tactical strike.

Those ATs dont get to do it in near total safety from anyone without a build spefically built to counter their AT either. Try playing other ATs in PvP. You'll have to "stalk" and pursue foes just as much, if not more than a Stalker does. Try it without stealth too, and you may realize that pursuing a foe is hardly unique to Stalkers. Its a basic part of PvP that every AT and build has to engage in. All ATs have to pursue someone and set up an attack. Some have to close to melee range to do it, some dont. Even some melee builds dont have to close to melee range to begin combat.

    I agree, the only difference is that these AT's have far more defense than a stalker.. Stalkers are one of the squishest. As for the squishy AT's on the hero side, they also have high damage ranged attacks or controlling powers.. If you're an AT that is notorious for being one-shotted, mainly controllers and defenders, pick up an ability that negates melee attacks like that hurricane stormy thing I see you guys with. If you're gonna PvP and whine about being killed in one hit, then go to the effort to pick up the powers needed and build your AT for PvP, if you refuse to do that, stay out of the PvP zones or keep on the move.

  4. Personally I think this was uncalled for, it's true, most do have tactics and other +perception powers.. They can pop insights, and even carry IR goggles to other PvP zones.. This chage was ridiculous.. I can understand that getting his with AS is devastating, but I think having the edge in PvP was all stalkers had.. They're not exactly a good PvE AT.. I think if they're going to do this, they need to buff our defense..

    Why? The server lag already makes it hard enough to land an assassin strike, seeing as you have to stand next to your target for at least a second before activating it, or it thinks you're still moving and eats up your endurance.. Hell I have had many problems with this, usually I will end up eating all my endurance with attempted AS's until my endurance is depleted, and by the time I do land one, all of my toggles deactivate from 0 endurance and I'm left to die.. Now they're adding extra perception buffs?.. Please.. Cryptic, get it straight.. It was balanced before because of our disadvantages, now you're helping everyone else make it even harder?..

    Fix, please.. They don't need any perception buffs, I am already seen 80-90% of the time WITHOUT the new buffs.

    So yes, it's true, most everyone will see Stalkers now, to answer your question.
