Having a good split team strategy is very useful. If you can manage a 3 man tank/5 man tower set up, you are sure to do well. Stone tanks are best, i found. You dont need but one good empath. Ill/ trollers are good for helping with aggro and damage mitigation.
To me, a great set up would be:
1 emp defender (or a dedicated /emp troller)
1 rad defender (dark also has uses)
(note: vengance and leadership makes a HUGE difference)
1 stone tank
2 trollers (illusion is a great primary, mind is suprizingly helpful if spec'd right. Rad is an awesome secondary. also, having a backup emp couldnt hurt.)
a good mix is here, I liked having
1 energy blaster
1 fire blaster
1 spines scrapper
note that ALL 5 AT's are represented. I have NO IDEA how kheldians could help or hurt.

I would love for someone to post a thread (and link it) listing the winning teams and what they had.
You have to have a good mix of damage, taunt or aggro control, and heal-buff-debuff.
that is what makes this TF so great. your personal build will be tested. pvp builds dont help, but we pulled it off somehow.
(took a good 10 min for GW)

which MM pets are the melee type?
it seems like a little much having to keep up with all that plus using your secondary powers.
this is a great guide. as a new MM player, I will say running a team effeciently takes ALOT of work. Imagine what it is like for folks who dont read these forums at all?

thanks. I have alot of unfinished business to do. for the guy who uses fly and scans from the sky, what is the range of a level 30 snipe with 3 range enhancements? aim plus tactics plus the built in accuracy should be good, right?
also, i am having problems clicking on the enemys with the mouse. should i make usernames show ALL of the time?
is it better to acend or decend your power button bars?
can you add more for us PvP newbies out there?

Ok, so seeing how a devices blaster is the best for hunting stalkers, and you have the cut off @ 30 for S.C. and 50 for R.V. could you all post a "to 30" build? (I think the full build is already posted, but does it take into account respecs later or no?)

Then you really need to be playing another game, bud. The client modification restriction is not new to the TOS ... so if the very fact that they are finally enforcing an element of their TOS by removing threads discussing client modifications - then, as I said, you need to be playing something else more satisfying.

I've been playing the game over a year and don't see what mods (other than the one surpassing the game's primitive map) are really needed to make the game more enjoyable.

I agree. Down at the "afore mentioned awesome website", they have an overlay map that makes badgehunting just a tad bit easier. I hope they would never take this away from us. I wish I could use it in conjunction with the blacked out maps in hazzard zones. It adds just enough to make things better. I cant see playing this game with out it. (it also shows you the TF people as well as other locations). Highly recomended for anyone.
As for ditching the sound loops, I often play with music on or no sound EXCEPT for instances where i need to find the humming glowie. I think those 2 instances should be the only exceptions.
I also hated not having all the latest MOD's for WoW. Its like keeping up with the jones's. not cool.

one good snipe takes them down? For all of you who posted builds, please go into more detail about the inner workings of your build, slotting, and what powers are the keys to the set. I get ganked in SC and RV when I bring my emp and I suck at PvP. I want a good stalker killer, and a little bit of revenge. who better to ask the the pro's?? please share your experiance!

This has to be, hands down, one of the best SET guides out there. period.

sonic repultion makes the terra volta trial that much easier!!!!! get it to respec out of it.....also, it makes pvp kinda fun if used right. if you have to protect a targetable something..use it, other than that..blah

I am looking for a guide that talks about all the powers and choices from the power pools that no body takes...
like jump kick, whilrwind and so on. anyone ever make a char that took every primary and secondary possible and actually had a use for it? here are other questions...

1)is there a list of HP's by level and by AT out there?
2)anyone ever make a gimped character on purpose and play it? tell your storys..
