You pre-ordered the game. They had you in their system since a year ago. Most people pre-ordered when they saw the pre-order box sitting on the shelf.

The box is technically a 'freebie' given to people that put money down to reserve a game. There is no flag in the system that says someone got a pre-order box or not, just that they have a copy reserved.

When they called you up to say your pre-order copy has arrived, they had no way of knowing you never got a pre-order key. They probably assumed you did because everyone else they called about picking up their pre-order copy had one already.

Have you tried going to the store and telling them you pre-ordered before those boxes came out, and you never got a code so can you get one now as a loyal customer?

Statesman was a coward. My mastermind, Widow, had pulled back from a large crowd to rest up a bit when out of nowhere I was hit from behind. I flew up then my robots and a few nearby villains rushed him before he ran off.

(Actually it was the highlight of my night, getting five seconds alone with him. I have to get an "I survived a pummeling by Statesman" shirt made.)

Synapse was amusing and obviously having fun letting us beat up on him. He ran around a bit when his health got low, but he stayed in the area for us to finish it.

I saw War Witch's name for half a second, but unfortunately that was all.

Agent Miraaj entertained us in Mercy 10 most of the rest of the time.
