  1. [ QUOTE ]
I bought it on the basis of the unique selling point. No guarantee for the future plans. I would expect that when they decided to add to the game they will do it in a way that it does not interfere with the premises that some of their customers perceive the game.

Not quite sure what you mean there.

They have done it in a way that doesn't interfere with the existing game, you can do all the old content just as before and stay out the zones.

If it changes how you perceive the premise of the game (I think that is what you are saying) not sure what they could do about that. PvP was added in the Arenas, which was planned and talked about before the games release. Optional PvP has always been coming to the game.

If it didn't alter how people see the game people wouldn't be picking it up because you can now do PvP.
  2. They added extra PvP zones, removed no PvE content, and somehow you have less choice?

Much PvE content in the PvP zones is geared to the PvP, there wouldn't be any point sticking missions that buff your side in PvP outside a PvP zone.

Manticore has said they are going to change things, so you don't even have to speak to the contact in the PvP zone, but one outside it. So you will never even have to go into the zone.

Not the going to talk to the contact then leaving again was major hardship or anything.

There will still be PvE content in them, but if you don't like the PvP aspect, don't go in and do that content which is designed with PvP in mind. Again you have lost zero PvE content, but now have the choice of taking new PvE content in the PvP zones.
