  1. Could they change everyone's name to CharacterName@GlobalName? If they add the global name to the end of your character name then you could have any name you want without worrying about it not being available. Character names would appear in team windows and above character's heads, but in chat they would appear as CharacterName@GlobalName. It might make sending tells and invites more cumbersome but that's the only downside I can see.
  2. Wishfull thinking for Going Rogue

-I hope its a stand alone game with lvl 1-50 content.... maybe 1-40 at launch with 41-50 later on. That's how City of Villains began so why not?

-I want to be able to choose any AT at character creation when creating a Rogue with the exception of Hero and Villain Epic AT's. I would like to see one or two new Going Rogue exclusive AT... Spy AT's that can go anywhere in the COH universe regardless of their alignment. No one knows exactly whose side a spy is on anyway.

-Alignment changing missions should only be available on Praetorian Earth. Anyone who doesn't buy the expansion has no access to them. When Rogues from Praetorian Earth come to our earth, IE Paragon City or Rogue Isles, they are restricted to whatever side is most appropriate for their alignment when they crossed over. Alternately existing Heroes and Villains should have to go to Praetorian Earth to change their alignment.

-I hope the zones in Praetorian Earth are more than just revamped copies of existing zones. I know it's a parallel world but is it too much to ask for a little originality.

-While on Praetorian Earth your alignment should only be known by you. Heroes and Villains can team together but there should be no way to tell whose a hero and whose a villain unless you state it yourself, and even then you could lie and they'll never know. Missions designed to be heroic can be sabotaged so the alignment shift toward heroic is less than what it should have been, and the one who sabotaged the mission will have an alignment shift toward villain. Same for villain missions.
  3. The problem I see with adding Windows to bases is depth. Without depth they would just be two dimensional pictures on the wall, which would be fine if your standing in one place but people usually move around when in their base. This is why fake backdrops are usually shot at a fixed angle.
  4. I guess there would be a "Middle Man" I was on a Grand Jury for six months and I learned a little about how Drug Busts go down. You have your "Confidential Source" make the buy, when the transaction is complete the police move in to make the bust. I thought something like this might work with Influence Dealers. I didn't mean to suggest that players pay the money, I thought it could be something the Devs could do, or at least organize with player support.

If this wont work for Influence Dealers since all you would catch is the Influence Mule, I don't see why it wouldn't work for websites that offer "Powerleveling Services." These are probably the same people who are farming the influence. They're just killing two birds with one stone.
  5. The only way I see the spammer problem going away is if you eliminate the supply of inf that is being sold for real money.

How do you do this? Sting operation.

Pay them their 10 bucks per 1 mil inf then when you meet with the dealer in game take down their toon names and the names of any other toons who you see working with them and report them. These are the accounts that need to be suspended because these are the accounts that have all the toons who have all the inf. Suspending the spammer accounts will do nothing as long as the supply of inf is still there. Remove the influence and the spammers will eventually go away since the risk of inf dealing will be too high. This should also drop the prices to more reasonable levels in the market.
