We had a good turnout for the first two SFs. We're going to do the Sharkhead Strike Force in about 5 minutes (top of the hour).
-
Frosty, the plan is to do as many as people are available for. We'll see how it goes.
-
I know this is very late notice (work has been very difficult with week), but I want to try to do one or more on Saturday, August 22nd. Starting around 4 PM Eastern (3 Central, 2 Mountain, 1 Pacific) with the Cap Au Diable TF (meet at the contact, Virgil Tarikoss).
I suppose we'll put the team(s) together based upon who shows up. I'll put out the word on Jello Shooters. -

, I would love to support this, even if for only one mission/TF. I'm starting to "dig" my Stalker more, so I'm sure she'll have at least a few more levels before showtime
-
At this rate we may just have to pull together multiple teams. And that would be more than doable since the early TFs only require 4 people to start.
-
Well, it seems that we have a great deal of interest. I guess I'll have to pick a date to do this. Stay tuned for more information.

Quote:Well, I didn't want to make the qualifications too hard. Primarily, I wanted to encourage Stalkers to join. However, I know there is a chance that people may not have mid to upper level Stalkers, so the definition had to be broad enough so that people wouldn't be discouraged from joining, but still qualified under the spirit of the endeavor.Originally Posted by SlimPickensHeh. Thats too easy. With Superspeed and a stealth IO in sprint anybody can qualify (between dual builds every single toon I have has this combo). You should raise the bar to having stealth in your primary/secondary perhaps.
Makes it more interesting.
The spirit being a team of villains sneaking quietly into an enemy group, and dispatching them is a flurry of assassinations and critical hits.

Cause I've tried that on mine; it didn't end so well.
Whatever you decide, I've got a Fire/Dark Brute, an Assault/Dark Corruptor, a Plant/Psionic Dominator with Stealth, a Bane, a Widow, or a Claw/Energy Stalker I can bring (depending on what level of stealth is deemed appropriate). -
Quote:The answer to this question is a simple test...Originally Posted by Demon_ShellSo what constitutes stealth?
If the toon without any outside help (thus only powers/IOs that the toon innately has, such as a combination of Stealth IOs, Super Speed, Hide, Stealth, Steamy Mist, Shadow Fall, etc.) can walk up to a spawn (that does not have any +perception) of equal level and do a dance emote safely for (let's say) 30 seconds, they are stealthy enough to come along.
Is that definition sufficient? -
I am a whisper carried by the wind. I am a living shadow. I am a silent killer.
My talent is death, and with the blood of my enemies, I shall paint my masterpiece.
I'm interested in running (almost all of) the major strike forces with a team of Stalkers, Banes, Widows and anyone else that can become completely invisible all in one day. Similar to the all VEAT marathon we did a few weeks ago.
Without the typical contingent of debuffing/aggro control, I'm going to recommend acquiring Shivans (from Bloody Bay) and Rockets (from Warburg).
The strike forces that I want to do specifically are:
The Beast Beneath the Mountain from Virgil Tarikoss (levels 15-20, 12 merits)
Pirates of the Sky from Silver Mantis (levels 20-25, 38 merits)
The Temple of the Waters from Strike Force Operative Renault (levels 25-30, 22 merits)
The Crystal of Serafina from Ice Mistral (levels 35-40, 25 merits)
And depending on interest/time...
Time's Arrow from Imperious (levels 35-50, 28 merits)
The Lady Grey Strike Force from Lady Grey (levels 45-50, 39 merits)
Lord Recluse's Strike Force from Lord Recluse (levels 45-50, 25 merits/SHO)
Thus Spoke the Reichsman from Barracuda (levels 45-50, 35 merits)
I don't have a date for this yet, I'm throwing this out there to see who else is interested.
However, what I do know is that it will be on a Saturday (rather than a Sunday so as not to conflict with SF Sunday event), and I know I will bring my level 50 stalker, Bounty-Killer. -
You bring the fish, I'll bring the puns, and we'll have a good 'ole time.

Shattered Spirit? An evil and psychotic being with incredible power, no true physical form, and an extreme detachment from humanity?

From what he's told me, he and several other real life friends have played several other games together. They have a consistent naming scheme for their characters so that they can recognize each other easily. All of his toons have a name with two words, each beginning with a V. Another friend of uses the initials ED.

Apparently, they are quite busy this week. His computer will probably be done and ready to come home Saturaday evening, but I'm not sure what time we will get back (we live in the woods, and the nearest "big city" is an hour away). So, we may or may not be in for the hami raid.
ATM we are sharing the laptop. I use the term sharing loosely, as if this were the case permantently, it would probably lead to a divorce :P. So, he has had it the last two nights, so I may be able to guilt him in the letting me having it tonight for some EOE farms to help ya'll out. If you can, just post a time ya'll plan on it, and I'll do my best to be there, cause....I miss you guys -
