Paragon City Hamidon Raid, in the Hive.
Saturday, November 6th, 3 PM Pacific (4 PM Mountain, 5 PM Central, 6 PM Eastern).
kidengineer will be leading the raid/coordinating the teams.
A few points to remember:
* The Hive is restricted to level 45+ Rogues, Heroes, and Vigilantes.
* Warburg Biological Mutagen and Chemical Burn warheads greatly help. If you can please acquire one for the raid.
* A full tray of Essence of the Earth (known as EoE) inspirations is very useful (but not absolutely necessary).
* The raid team leaders will use the Request channel to coordinate the teams. Please monitor the channel for instructions, but do not use it unless you are one of the raid team leaders
* It will hold 50 characters, if the Hive fills up, do not leave the zone, there is no guarantee you'll get back into that instance.
* The Hamidon will spawn (bloom) 3 sets of Mitos at (75%, 50%, and 25%), in addition to the mitos that initially spawn with him.
* After Hamidon is defeated you will have the option of selecting 53 Reward Merits or a random Hamidon Origin Enhancement if you are level 47+.
If you can, please acquire Biological Mutagen warhead/nuke from Warburg prior to the raid. They help tremendously.
Please acquire Chemical Burn warhead/nuke from Warburg as well. We're planning to plow through the last bloom.
We may attempt a completely evac-less raid, depending on attendance. -
Reminder: This is tomorrow.

Quote:Actually, it wasn't the Stormer (Lunaru). That was Ruladak (the red one).We had a great run last night, dropped the Stormer on the first run. If you do this again, try this guide, I found it very useful.

So the weekend immediately after the Halloween event ends, the Rikti attempt to invade again (Nov 4-7).
No rest for the wicked, nor the heroic either.
Running the Numina TF will be... interesting. -

The raid is today in the Hive!
3pm Pacific, 4pm Mountain, 5pm Central, 6 pm Eastern, and 7pm Atlantic. -
If you would like help acquiring warheads for the raid, please post about it. I can think of a few Protectorites who would be willing to assist you in getting them.

That is good news. I ask because I can think of very few tanks that can stand toe to toe with Soldiers of Rularuu (I should have been more specific in my previous post) due to the variety of powers that they can use against you; Defense based sets are weak to the Observers ridiculously high accuracy and most other sets are vulnerable to the Wisps psychic attacks. Having a solid tank, like Ycebergg, on one of the teams would improve the odds of success.

Quote:You only have to face one of the AVs (Aspect of Rularuu), either Ruladak or Lunaru in the CoP TrialOk, Ive failed this twice so far, so pardon me if I'm asking n00b questions here, but is there more than one AV after the Obelisks?
Quote:And 15 minutes, seriously!?!?!
On a few of the successful (and even the unssuccessful) runs, we got the timing on destroying the obelisks (Psionic Resonator) right on the first try. Total time spent there is less than 5 minutes.
We cross our fingers and then the AV spawns.
After going into the AV room, clearing the enemies can take a minute or two. And defeating the AV in one pass can be done in under a minute.
The rest is travel/buff time. -
The trial itself doesn't take long (when it goes well). Successful runs take around 15 minutes.
The time consuming part of this endeavor is recruiting, organization, coordination, and luck.
Initially, the teams need to be balanced so that taking down the obelisks simultaneously is easier. Also coordinating the teams so that they know where and when to go takes time. Otherwise, for the non-leader player who is just going along for the ride it's as simple as:
1. Follow the team leader.
2. Defeat these enemies.
3. Destroy this Obelisk.
4. Follow the team leader.
5. Defeat these enemies.
6. Attack the AV.
7. Repeat 5 and 6 until the AV is defeated.
The luck part comes into effect when you finally see which AV you have to face. The Storm AV (Lunaru?) is very difficult to defeat (I haven't heard of anyone defeating him), while the other (that I have seen, Ruladak?) is far easier. -
8 pm eastern, why not.
It just might be a little early for the west coast crew: 5 pm there. -

From the looks for the roster... my Grav/Kin controller would be the best fit.

I'll bring whatever is needed to make this TF run faster... be that a buffer, or a debuffer, a ranged, or even a melee damage dealer!
