  1. I don't have much mac experience, but I do use GNU/Linux and I can run Mids' on those systems using Wine (Windows compatibility layer) and installing the Windows version of Mono (truly cross-platform implementation of .NET).

As far as I know, your only other options are to install a copy of Windows in a virtual machine, get use to using Sucker Punches' planner, use the in game tools, write your own hero planner, or beg/pay Mids' to port the planner.
  2. I've been playing this game on and off for a while and have only now decided to try out the pvp. I have a fire/stone tank sitting at 50 and want to try him out in RV. Before I logged yesterday, I parked him in the RV base and was shocked by the combat attributes display.

He had fire shield and tough running for a total smashing/lethal resistance of ~46%. I opened the full combat attributes window and under smashing resistance it listed fire shiled with ~48% and tough with ~23%. Okay so maybe that's diminishing returns in action and enforcing a soft limit of ~45%, but that seems kind of low for a tank. I checked in mids and it listed the total resistance as ~70%. I searched through this forum, but did not find any mention of what the resistance limit for tanks is or whether mids is completely off on all pvp numbers.

    So my questions is,
Which number is more accurate for my fire tank, ~45% or ~70%?
