The screenshots are good, fairly clear to see whats going on. I didn't comment it as I've seen the event or screenshots of such a lot. Cant' say for everyone else though. I've just been on the invasions to the point that I see a screenie and think "oh cool a Rikti invasion" but it doesn't jump out at me much. Kinda like a STF or LGTF now. The screenies may be great, and chances are they are, but it doesn't grab me as the first few times have, unless there's something about them, like a certain angle or something I haven't seen before.

I know what you mean about that ! You can only take so much of the same thing over and over. That's why I tried to pick out the coolest looking screenshots.

The first one I picked because of that Gravity controller's power that summoned the flying dolly being launched through the sky, along all the other things going on.

I think the focus of the last one, to me, looks best when you look at the Portal Corp sign. It looks pretty cool illuminated at night like that, and the screenie looks to be a little tilted in angle (I wish it were even more to really push the focus on the sign).

All those green glowishness-es going on is the result of emps spamming heals. xD They seem sorta darkish I think because of the an....anti.....a-whatever filtering and bloom effects turned on during in-game night time (you can see the street lams turned on in the heavy one), but I've gotten used to it.

Strangely enough this is a what, 2 1/2 yr old computer and I've just now gotten the cajones to bump up graphics to the max and found out it actually lags me LESS (thank you Bill for the message you said in PinnBadges, turns out it happened to be the same for me too ! XD)

Are my screenshots not good ? Or are they so great they strike everyone speechless?!

Or do people just hate screenshot threads in the screenshot forum? :P

Cimerora looks beautiful, I don't see many/at all reused pieces of geometry and that's the most I could ever hope for. And besides that, it looks great too!

As you are aware, the Rikti are invading our already less-than-peaceful Paragon City. The Rouge Isle Vanguard branch also reports Rikti activity.
You must be prepared and know your enemy!

The battles with Rikti will be most chaotic, thus we will provide you tips on combating the enemy. Be on the lookout for Rikti Drop ships, which will attack the city by dropping Rikti bombs. To assist in the battles, our Vanguard HVAS will be available to assist in battle. It is futile to attempt to attack the Rikti from within their homes, so we need all our forces focused on the invading waves. Your main goals are to hold back the waves of invading Rikti and rescue any civilians from harm's way.

As luck would have it, the moment I opened this topic I encountered the room for myself...

I have to say that is the most fun room I've been in my whole time in CoV. It inspired me to realise that there are still many things I haven't seen CoV side that are very impressive <3

So in a topic discussing annoying rooms in maps (blue caves layer cake, council water room), one I've never seen came up, a "arachnos pit room". Anyone have screenies of this ?
