Accolades
While all accolades (or at least most) can be very helpful. It would be great if we all focused on getting the +hit point accolades, as goals with our builds are mainly to cap hit points (to survive spikes). There are 3 +hp accolades. I am only going to run down the hero version of them since almost the whole team (and every person I have talked to) is playing a hero (or working on switching to hero).
1. Portal Jockey- gives 5% hp and 5% end
Badges needed: Dimensional Warder, Shrouded, Multidimensional, and Scholastic
To obtain:
DW- Run the NEW Maria Jenkins arc, then run Siege's single mission and an Antimatter mission (I have both of these single missions, Maria can be run through ozone or on a character 45+ by getting the contact). Alternately, you can run Maria's OLD arc and then the Antimatter mission, but the old arc is much longer. You need to kill 14 AVs in the arcs for this badge (Shadowhunter is not needed).
Multidimensional- Enter the "The Hydra Dimension" (40-45) (you can go in and back out to earn the badge)
Shrouded- Enter Nightstar's roof top mission map. This is in ozone listed as "Black Shroud Dimension" (46-50)
Scholastic- Read 3 plaques (#1 in FF #1 and #2 in Bricks)
2. Freedom Phalanx Reserve Member- gives 10% hp
Badges needed: Tank Buster, Gearsmasher, Unveiler, Regal, Brawler, Vigorous, Summoned, Keen Sighted, Purifier, Nimble Mynx, Authority
To obtain:
Tank Buster- defeat 100 Freakshow tank bosses (suggestion, run Sister Psyche tf/2nd respec trial)
Gearsmasher- defear 100 Clockwork Gears (suggestion, run Synapse tf)
Unveiler- defeat 100 Fake Nemesis (suggestion, large team hunt in FBZ or PI)
Regal- Exploration Badge #2 in Boomtown
Brawler- Exploration Badge #3 in Galaxy
Vigorous- Exploration Badge #3 in IP
Summoned- Exploration Badge #1 in Kings Row
Keen Sighted- Exploration Badge #4 in Kings Row
Purifier- Exploration Badge #1 in Skyway
Nimble Mynx- Exploration Badge #3 in Steel Canyon
Authority- read 5 plaques (#1 and #2 in IP, #5 in Talos, #4 in Dark Astoria, and #4 in Terra Volta)
3. Task Force Commander- gives 5% hp
Badges needed: Positron's Ally, Synapse's Cohort, Sister Psyche's Comrade, Citadel's Assistant, Manticore's Associate, and Numina's Compatriot
To obtain:
Positron's Ally- run the new Positron tfs (part 1 and 2) from Steel Canyon or run the old Positron tf through ozone
Synapse's Cohort- run the Synapse tf from Skyway City
Sister Psyche's Comrade- run the Sister Psyche tf from IP
Citadel's Assistant- run the Citadel tf from Talos
Manticore's Associate- run the Manticore tf from Brickstown
Numina's Compatriot- run the Numina tf from Founders Falls -
Practice Tonight 11/23 9pm Est
Tasks:
-Practice target calling (We will be rotating to give everyone playing a damager a turn)
-Practice quick locks
-Practice quick target changes
-Practice evading on different maps
-Practice effective inspiration usage
-Practice before start buffing, healing spike damage, and buffing during the match
Goals for this practice:
-Find at least three people who are comfortable target calling for a match
-Get a consistent two locks within a few seconds
-Have each team member successful evade/phase/hibernate from at least one spike
-Complete matches on at least 3 different maps
Things to Discuss:
-Team uniform or team colors (if we want them)
-Additional practice time
-Possible lineups
-Anything else that comes up
Long Term Goals/Things to work on:
-Slotting your character (if you need help, you should ask! I do not expect anyone to be fully slotted or on their "perfect" build for tonight's practice or the first match, but all team members should have a solid start by 12/5)
-Accolading (ideally all team members should have all 3 +hp accolades before the first match, this will help us a lot!)
-Setting up your pvp screen/trays (Masque gave us great examples, but you need to know what works for you. Keep readjusting until you find what you want)

-Any member of the "free agent pool" should feel free to join us at our practices.

PVP Lessons
-Went over evading tactics on different maps
-Practiced sand boxing with Grav/TAs
-Played two matches and practiced locking, spiking, target calling, and evading
Politics
-Team Diminishing Returns was renamed team "Pew Pew Pew!" and MP was appointed team captain for the first match.
-Team Travel Supression was renamed team "Pimp Hand" (someone correct me if this is incorrect) and Elegost was appointed team captain for the first match.
-Smallz was adopted by team Pew Pew Pew and Philly was adopted by team Pimp Hand.
-New team captains will be elected after the first match (or teams can keep current captains)
Characters
-Since everyone is level 50 you may go ahead and Accolade your character
-Since everyone is level 50 you may go ahead and slot/IO your character
-Everyone will be provided with 1 -kb IO and some inf if they post their global here. Masque will send this via global email.
-Everyone will eventually also get 1 performancer shifter chance for +end and 1 kismet so you do not need to purchase these.
-People should use money from ticket rolls to purchase recipes/IOs for their character. There will be additional prizes given after matches. -

Masque, you will need to contact the people who purchased each of them to buy them. PERC would not get anything else on the transaction, unless the person wanted to donate it from you.

We will be having some awesome contests with prizes soon!!! Thank you again to everyone for their participation. I feel like this was a really fun and successful event! It was a touch long, but I like giving out so many prizes, so I will have to see how to stream line it a bit next year. -

I handed out over 80 numbers, which means this is probably the biggest player run event Victory has seen in a while! I am so sorry TheOcho did not make it, something must have happened in his RL. I will try to get him to jump on Victory soon to make an appearance.
I want to thank everyone for coming and being so generous. There were donations to prizes by Cylert, PennyPa, Medieval Power, myself, and a donor who does not wish to be named. PERC now has some fabulous prizes available for next year. The next event I am running be posted around the beginning of December.
Oh and Konda, I gave everyone who didn't win anything 20 mill! So get your >.< out of here :P -

Next thing, the mystery prizes. This was a cool idea, and apparently highly successful. I forget what they all went for, but I remember the first one specifically being around 900M for 10 purples. The specific purples were later mentioned to be sleeps, immobs., or something to that effect. Now, a patient went-worther could probably make over 900M with those hancies (they were pre-crafted I believe), but I still heard a little side-chatter in different channels about how they thought the bidder had over-paid. My suggestion would be, that PERC pre-determines an unlisted, approximated, maximum worth of the mystery prizes. Let the bid go on as normal, and if the winning bid exceeds the estimated worth, they would actually only have to pay the pre-determined maximum. Just a thought I had.
Additionally, this is an event which is basically a "charity" event. As Linarra said as he was bidding "hoping for 10 lucks!" and it well could have been 10 lucks, that is the "mystery" of it (now I wouldn't do that when setting up prize baskets, because it's not my style). People know that their bids are going towards other events specifically on Victory where they will be able to win great prizes- better than if I had to donate everything myself. It is an interesting idea, limiting the amount, but that kind of goes against the fundraiser portion. -

Auction goes on for longer than I can really hang around (or I don't get any play time in), but it was nice to hang out for awhile. The extra prizes for everyone hanging out was a great idea as well. Makes it fun to hang out even if you aren't bidding (or up for auction).
I still have to say the experience is a little goofy. I'm not too picky about who I team with, so I hardly have to be auctioned off, heh.
It is mostly for a fundraiser for PERC Events and to redistribute some of the wealth on the server. I will be posting totals in a while! -
Hey everyone only a few hours left! I had some good questions from people that I thought I would answer publicly:
Q. What if I bid on someone that is more than the inf cap?
A. You can switch characters to pay or you can global mail yourself money before we start and then just claim the emails as you bid so that you do not need to switch at all.
Q. What happens if we spawn 2 Pocket Ds?
A. Someone will be in Pocket D 2 taking bids as well. This person will be on vent with me so that we can all stay in the loop.
Q. If I ask you to auction me off midway through the auction, even though I did not sign up, will you put me on the block?
A. I am sorry no, a lot of people asked me to do this last year, but in the fairness of time/those who signed up earlier, I cannot accept any more auctionees once we start.
Q. If I win the Community Reps (TheOcho and Avatea), will they go on vent with me?
A. That is a very strong possibility, they were able to last year.
Q. If I win the emote pack, how will I get it?
A. The code will be sent to you most likely via email.
Note: Some of the prizes packages are more than 10 enhancements. I will ask that the winning bidders of those will meet me after the auction to pick them up.

Normally.... I am 100% in favor of educational games. And a lot of educational stuff is very fun. But this one time... I dunno, you are trying to impress the kids not the parents. Something that is pure fun and all win is my vote.
Though if you do go for something educational... a grow a frog kit and grow butterfly kit are SUPER cool and something they can all do together at home.
