  1. Thank you to everyone that came out last night! We had 2 teams of 7 last night. My team ran Scirocco and MB's team ran Ghost Widow's intro arcs.

    My team was:
    1. Soothesayer Talona: Mind/Thorns Dom
    2. Bleakest Death: Necro/Dark MM
    3. Torrtuga: Fire/WP Brute
    4. Double Shot: DP/Fire Blaster
    5. Motorpsycho Nitemare: Psi/MM Blaster
    6. Ragypt: Fire/Storm Corr
    7. Richard something something: Bots/Traps MM

We finished in around an hour and a half. We fought through most everything.

Next week we will continue on with Part 2 of our respective Patron arcs. We are in that painful spot on villain side where there are no task forces. I'm going to revamp the upcoming schedule just a wee bit to try to fill up the 40-45ish range some more, and take into consideration a couple of special requests from players. You all wouldn't mind running the ITF twice would you? Once soonish for xp, and then again when we hit 50 for shards?

Thanks again and see you all next week!
  2. I'm confirming I'll be there with someone. Either Spectral Pixie or Flaming Lunatica my Fire/Psi Dom. And you've got a copy/paste issue at the end with "(and Tuesdays)" =)
  3. If we have enough interest we can start a third team, but I'll need a team leader for it. Myrdinn's have computer issues and might not be able to make it tonight.

We'll meet at the initial contact who is Arbiter Rein in Grandville. He'll then have us decide which Patron we want to do (each person needs to do that). Then he'll introduce you to that contact (Ghost Widow, Captain Mako, Scirocco, or Black Scorpion). Each person who wants to do that contacts missions will need to get them each time from the contact and Auto complete to keep up with the arc.

All you need to do for tonight is make sure your character is at least level 40 so that Arbiter Rein will give you the contact. =)
  5. Sorry for the late posting of this everyone. Last week was just a bad week for me to get anything done. If I've forgotten any of the regular people just let me know.

We'll be running 2 teams most likely tonight. We'll be unlocking the Patron pools for those of us who have recently hit 40-41ish (I think we've got about 6-7 regulars right now in that category).

I polled my team a few weeks ago, and none of them cared which arc we did. As for MB's team, I'm not sure if anyone there cares which arc either. If you have a specific arc you want to do, speak up now!

If you want to unlock the Patron Pools tonight, you must get the same missions and follow along. Only people with the missions will get the badge at the end to unlock the Patron Pools.

  7. Thank you all for the kind thoughts. The wake was earlier than I thought it would be, so I am home now. I'll pop by and see if there is room or not. If not, good luck.
  8. CP, please move me to iffy/alternate for this. My best friends mother passed away today and the wake is Sunday night. I might not be back in time, or feel up to running in CoH. If I don't see you all then, good luck!

And since she's in my SG, I can tell you that Doc Novacaine is an Emp/Dark Defender
  9. There's nothing wrong with adding random names

    I'll be there w/ Dyanthia: Rad/Rad Defender
  10. Thanks to everyone that was able to join us last night. We had a bit of a light turn out. We ran two mostly full teams for the respec, and then combined down to 1 team for the Midnight Hand Story Arc.

My team for the Respec was:

    Soothesayer Talona:Mind/Thorns Dom
    Bleakest Death: Necro/Dark MM
    Herkimer: Brute
    Double Shot: Dp/Fire Blaster
    Motorpsycho Nitemare: Psi/MM Blaster
    Eddge: Stalker

For the story arc we lost Eddge and gained Whitner and Downed Airman.

We finished the respec in 36:26 with 9 deaths. I'm not sure on the time or number of deaths on the Story Arc.

    Thanks again for joining everyone!

Ok, no problem Paragon. Thanks for letting us know!
  12. Sorry for the delay in setting this up everyone! I was waiting to see if one of our regulars who really wanted to run the Patron arcs would be able to make it, and it looks like he will not be able to. I had also received some requests to not run the patron arcs tonight since it's Valentines Day.

So instead, we'll be running the second villain respec, followed by the story arc to unlock Cimerora. I do not believe this arc is able to be flash backed, so we'll have someone on each team who can still take the missions naturally from the contact.

Because we have several people missing tonight, we'll be running 2 teams only. Thanks and see you all tonight!

Snag KK, Jack, MB, etc for it. They've been running some successful ones from what I hear

I would prefer a non speed run myself. It doesn't have to be a kill all, but I think the uber speed runs kind of defeat the purpose of trying to get shards. But if everyone else wants to speed run it, that's fine with me. Just means the sooner I can get offline

Well at least RAM is cheapish. Hope it continues to work for you. We'll see tonight when I cast sonic shields on ya

    How are you getting imps??
  18. This week I plan on dragging my hvac out as soon as we zone into the door. Where I hadn't done the TF before, I didn't realize that BM would be *right there* when we zoned. Then all the issues with the blue goo started happening.... so this week, drag the hvac out first, debuff BM, and then run around the map trying not to die (and thus killing the Hvac) (oh, and rezzing E's corpse).

Truthfully, my comp is old - it was built in 2006 & was not really "high end" at the time, but it was the best I could get for the price I wanted to pay. I have swapped out some components over the years, but the basic log-jam is the MB & CPU (Pentium D 2.8).
Hmmm either of those would explain the problems your having. I hope it's just the RAM though! Good luck on the rest of the testing.
  20. Founders Falls is not in the Shadow Shard

I'll be on some type of debuffer. It may be Dyanthia: Rad/Rad Defender, but if she doesn't need any more of the specific 5th Column shard piece, I'll probably switch off to another rad instead for this run. I'm just not sure how many I need still on her.
  21. Thank you to everyone that was able to join last night. We had 3 teams running on the Ice Mistral Strike Force.

    My team was:

    1. Soothesayer Talona: Mind/Thorns Dom
    2. Bleakest Death: Necro/Dark MM
    3. Torrtuga: Fire/WP Brute
    4. Double Shot: DP/Fire Blaster
    5. Motorpsycho Nitemare: Psi/MM Blaster
    6. Chemical Trooper: Fire/Dark Corr

We finished in 1:52:44 with 21 deaths. Not a bad time considering we cleared almost everything.

Next week's event is still up in the air. Once I see if one of our regular players will be able to make it or not, I'll put up the sign up sheet for what it will be.

    Thanks again everyone!

Right, the WST starts on Tuesdays of each week, and the one starting tomorrow is Dr. Kahn TF/Barracuda SF.

Yes, I hope you get it fixed soon! Keep me updated. I was going to run the Patron arcs next Monday, but if you're not going to be back in game yet, I'll push them back so you won't miss out, since you asked for them and all
  24. REMINDER: This it TONIGHT! See you all then!
