I never said I could type urls in at 1am...
    Got a 275/300 on it.
I consider that badassery, especially because I read the book for it last year. And also, it was basically the only thing making me pass the class.
  2. Those pictures are amazing bro!

Wish you'd do one of Cat Bot v1.36. He is challenging, robot arms and whatnot.

I need to get some good screenies of him.
  3. More great art from you Jugg! I saved the pic to my PSP.

    Great idea.
I love the headbanging snowman in the backgrouind
    Thanks a bunch Lucha

No problem man, if I could draw horns better... you best believe I would do an Art forum ska band with TA on bass and Snowman Frost on lead guitar.

When I saw Snowman Frost with that big top hat, I thought, Guns n' Roses. Slash.

Oh, and if the donating is still going on, I guess go with whichever has the least amount of money right now. Or maybe to a humane society nearby?
  5. I got a guitar sketch comin' up for ya Piep, just so you know, you'd be shredding to DragonForce.

    EDIT: Welcome to Frost Jungle!

Ok I fixed it up a bit I think it looks much much better andl a bit more (not quite sure how to say it) cut and paste looking? Though I think I used a wee bit too much blur especially towards the bottom of the CoV Logo.

    Looking good!

Though I have to agree with you the blur is a little bit strong.. blurring is a fine art, even I screw up sometimes. (ctrl+z ftw!)
What I usually do is drop my blur down to about 25-50% strength, that way, I can blur, and if it needs more, I can add more.

I don't want to sound mean, but lemme toss on some criticism.

If you are using photoshop, what I would have done was blend the center colors together, making them mesh a bit more. Do light blurring around the edges of the 'team' members to make them look more a part of the image and less tacked on. I would also have dropped a blur or drop shadow on the AT logos and game logos. Maybe even toss a blur around the edges of the game logos as well.

Just trying to offer some advice to strive for a 110!

EDIT: Went ahead and did some additions to your image. It's not the best, but it shows what I want it to show you about blurring, and drop shadow. Of course, when adding these, you do them all on seperate layers to make it easier to work with.

  12. Cool, thanks TA!
I actually usually pick the Un(Grateful)Dead Slay(er)ing Axe on characters just because it looks like a guitar.
  13. But I know that I myself love listening to different music genres and seeing what I come up with.

Thor's Assassin opening for The Human Abstract

Also, the bottom guy is a throwback to an older NOFX CD.
  14. Cat Bot v1.36

one question, can you make the undead slaying axe look almost just like that, same shape, but as a guitar instead?
if you do, you're looking at my purchasing at least a colored image.
  15. Thank you, now if only I could draw better :P

usually I don't draw people, more into places.
  16. Juggertha

and I don't have any other anomalies yet.
    yet.

Can you do one of my characters anyways?
I'll make you a cool drawing of your guy, well, sorta your guy, I'm not good at actual people, but I do some crazy drawings...

I really just want a cool picture of Cat Bot...

    [/ QUOTE ]

I'd love to man... but I'm workin' on about (exactly) 15 pieces right now. I've got quite the list to do, and I just thought I'd throw this up here for fun.

    [/ QUOTE ]

If I send you a couple screenies can you "toss me into the pile" so to speak? just a blue sketch would be cool.

Dang I was in a refresh click contest with you two and got the 10,000 exactly, (and have the window still open to it, but have no idea how to get the image of the screen saved.) Doh!

On (most) your keyboard, there is a button "prt scr" on my keyboard, something along those lines, it is after the F12 button.

then go into paint or some such and hit ctrl+v to paste it in.

Making them "earn-able" is good too, but obviously they have to work like PPP's, where you only get access to one set and that's it. I was thinking if they where "inherent" it would be something you selected at character creation along with your AT and origin... Either way, I like them...

    [/ QUOTE ]

I believe they would be better offered/selected in the general area of level 12-20, and have them be inherent-pool (wherein they do not take a pool selection, but they work like inherent powers, brawl, sprint etc).

A new player may select Lone Wolf, and end up teaming. A veteran player may think "hey, this guy is going to be mostly solo" then end up with a team most of the time for whatever reason...

I figure in the 'teen' levels, you have a pretty good understanding of the character...

and there should be more of them.
Finally, I believe that you should be locked into them, as your backstory, or origin, or just basic training if thats how you think of it, it would not change.
  21. I like them.. some of the descriptions would need to be tweaked to be a little more heroic.
  22. This strip from the web comic Ctrl Alt Delete online is actually quite correct upon its teaching.
