I didnt have much time to play when it first came out. However through all the effort ive been hearing that the game was initially not meant for heroes and villians to custom color their powers. Yeah I know there wasnt any new content, but I think it took alot of effort and time for the devs to pull this off. So im gratefull, and think this will help refresh this ol game a bit.
Anyways, the first thing I did was roll up an Fire/TA corrupter. I told a friend once that the TA set wouldnt reach its full potential untill the defender can light his own oil slick. Defenders still cant, but corrupters can! Had some fun with that.
I like the new power customization. However I was sad to see that you couldnt customize a stone tanks granite form. I changed around the colors of my illusion kins powers after my stone tank. I love how you can recolor the illusion pets. I noticed alot of fire/kins were customizing their imps to various colors of white, purple and red.
Might have to blow the dust off my I-4 days lvl 50 invul/axe tank and see if this game can revitalize him. -
I have one of those,
Warchild Puppy is a lvl 36 Shield/elect melee and ive been thinking about renaming him to Shock and awe Puppy. . . as in thats usually the result when I plow into a mob with him on a team. Buildup+shieldcharge+lightning rod= "holy crap!" out of ppl.
So far ive been IO'ing his powers untill he hits 50, then im going in on powersets. I'm not like some people who have tons of infamy on hand so ill probably think a bit conservative on sets. Like you I am a bit confused as well on how to slot out this monster, any help would definatly be appreciated. For me I think the armor sets will give me the most trouble.
Thus far since ive noticed that the build is quite end heavy so im trying to address his endurance for now. For added durability I dipped into the fighting pool set and picked up kick and tough. Just for spite I added a kinetic combat proc into kick and its quite funny to kick something and watch them fall down.
As for stamina itself I plan on slotting 4 efficacy adapters and a performance shifter proc into his stamina.
For Lightning rod and Shield charge I think 5 obliteration and a force feedback proc to help crankout recharge would fit nicely. For single target attacks I'll be going with 5 crushing impacts. -
I found this to be very interesting. I read the article and then checked the boards to see if there was a comment on this somewhere. Lo and behold, and ppl are still grumping about poor twixt? lol I just think theres alot of sore losers here who were caught not playing the game as it was intended and the one guy who decides to get aggressive in a pvp zone got punished, and prompted him to study us all like labrats. I do most my playing on triumph, and ive lost count how many times ive gone into sirens call and everyone just sits on the dock and socializes with each other. Even now in recluses victory no one fights, they just cooperate with each other and farm turrets. Thats not what the zones were intended for. Yes his tactics were mean spirited, but all is fair in love and war. I was in warburg once and got pwned when someone spawned a chronos titan in the zone. Now that was mean lol but hey whats a guy to do lol.

I absolutly love this build so far, and its only at lvl 25. However I havent seen any postings on build ideas. Can anyone help with some links that will help me get this 2 teleport pbaoe (lightning rod and shield charge) monster to his full potential?
