Tho we started a bit late, we had 10 players show up to the Event.

@Lord won both the Last Man Standing AND the most kills. Because I'm a jerk, I am not giving him a cent of my inf. He should be ashamed of winning an event he put on. So I awared my half of the rewards to the 2nd place players Local names Cloro Wipes (2nd to the last man standing) and Incendiaries (2nd most kills) Enjoy folks! Hope to see more people at Future Events!

Been a while since a PvP event has been held on this server, and I'm sick of waiting for someone else or a committee to do it.

Where: Pocket D (tho you can join from anywhere I'll be starting it there)
Why: Cuz PvP is entertaining. I mean everyone says LOLPVP...

General Rules and Info:

LAST MAN STANDING 5 respawns
Random Map
Free For All
100mil goes to player with the Most Kills
25mil goes to the player who is the Last Man Standing

Small Inspers only
lvl 50s only (incarnates allowed if avaliable IE shifts ok)
Incase two or more players are left unable to kill eachother for 10mins last man standing money will be divided evenly amongst them.

Look at that top immage... so pristine.... what makes you think anyone will belive you now? I sure don't. And I demand a recount and revote!! Cappy clearly stuffed the ballot box that he created. I gave him 4bil inf to put my idea on the ballot. Didn't even ask him to change it anyway.... did it make it no even though he promised. I had high hopes for LED and LBED. Lies full of Lies cappy is! Now who's w/ me?

Because there were some techincal issues with the event where some people were eliminated w/o losing a match we had a round robin rematch with the two winners from last week and those who had issues. However only the two winners from last week showed up. After 3 rounds each going into Sudden Death Mr. Rider won 2-1 vs Icy-Hot.

Becuase of the issues we had with this event, I recommend sticking with "pad and paper" to run tournaments. Also Stalkers do seem to get an unfair advantage in timed events because of Sudden Death. I would not recommend eliminating a whole class from Arena events, rather if the match, Stalker vs AT, goes into SD the match is a draw no matter who won in SD.

With the advent of new online games coming out and with the fustration of CoX, those of us who have hosted these events for the past 3 months are stepping aside.

We have just completed a Swiss Draw Tourny on Liberty Server. We were hoping that w/ the system generated matches it would be an evenly matched event w/o cause. However this isn't the case.
According to the description there are TWO phases to the toury. Find the Best 8, then single elimination. The last match ended up w/ a stalker and a corr. They drew even past Sudden Death. According to the points system the Stalker wins because he had 1.5 pts and the corr lost because he only had 1. Durring one of the previous matches, after the final 8 were selected, these two had a match and the corr won. How did the stalker continue eventhough he had lost in the Single Elimination phase. There are also other people who had a "bye" round where they loaded into the match w/o an opponent. I would like to award the prize to the correct winner. Can you please explain these issues, and how points are awarded in the Swiss Draw Tournament?
