wow...you obviously never read many X-men comics. Wolverine was...
A. a Gambler.
B. a Drinker.
C. a Womanizer.
D. a patron of many a gentlemens club.
Being a hero doesn't mean you can't have a realistic view on life and only think pure thoughts. It means you do what is right no matter the cost to yourself. Pocket D is a RAVE club. It isn't a church. Therefore, there may be a few "disreputable" things in there....deal.
I'd like to see Pocket D become a bit of a hub. Make mishes for varying levels from there. I'd like to see those people(and tiki masks) in green do more than just spout off. More portals to other zones. Hell, a base portal to there would be cool even.
edit...Ideas for possible changes....
Base teleporter beacon.
You talk to DJ Zero and he says..
"Hey (character name)! Having a good time? Could I ask you for help with something? Seems that a pair of Cornelius and Joe's Rikti monkeys managed to mate. The offspring got down into the maintenance room and are tearing things up! Could you go down there and take care of them? I'll make it worth your while."
This gives you a mission to defeat all Rikti monkeys in the Maintenance room. Upon completion you return to DJ zero where he gives you his thanks and a badge...I dunno..I suck at naming things. I doubt Monkey Spanker will fly. The badge is the needed component for creating a beacon for the teleporter to Pocket D.
As far as competing with the VIP card..no it doesn't. The VIP card can be used ANYWHERE by anyone, where this requires you to have a base and a teleporter as well as do a mish to get the beacon. On top of that, you have to be in your base to use it.

Here's an intersting one for ya Devs. I have 2 nearly identical systems...
AMD 3200+ single venice core
1 gig ram
Leadtek 6600 GT PCI-e
Biostar Geforce 6100-m9 mobo
only difference between the two is harddrives. One is mine, the other is the GF's. We both play, but in different ways. I solo almost exclusively. She is a teamaholic(routinely with the full complement of 8). I have yet to experience anything more than a small loss of framerates. She crashes at least 10 times a day. I can't give you exact times and conditions...all I get to hear is a loud frustrated scream. Based on the situation though, it's clearly linked to the teaming. As stated my system is rock solid and hers gets flaky. I do the maintenance on both machines (hell, I built them both). There is one software difference..she uses Skype. However they have left this off and the crashing still occurs. She has told me that when these crashes occur, it takes the whole team down. It's not always a hard crash, sometimes it's just a forced DC.
