So, I've been thinking lately that I wanna make a webcomic (I know, I'm a loser ). Problem is, I can't draw. Like, at all. None, nada, zip. So I had a thought: Maybe someone else likes to draw, and would be interested in making a webcomic! Genius, I know. So here's a few idea things:

Art Style: I was thinking.. kind of a cross between Penny Arcade and Cntl+Alt+Del - kinda cartoony looking, but with instantly reconizable and unforgettable characters. But, hey, you're the artist, right? I'm open to new suggestions.

Story: I'm in no way planning on writing everything and having you draw what I tell you to. I'd love to collaberate with you and come up with stories. I wanted to make a comic based on the Forums, which would hit recent CoH events and the general zaniness of the place. But, again, I'm very open to new ideas.

You know...

Everyone does webcomics with drawn or sprites nowadays... Instead, why not get a talented person and (If CoH/V based anyways) use screenshots?

Also... I didn't mention this earlier, but another CoH/V player was also mentioned in this issue. At the end of every issue, they have the "Skittle of the month", which is a character from an MMO which uses every color in the rainbow. This months skittle was the City of Villains character Maniacle Maniac.

I remember...

...The Name Reservation debale, and the many accusations of those mythical "Name Thieves", and people offering to pay cash to get names they wanted.

...The first time I went into a mission, and the enemy mentioned my character by *name*. That was the moment I officially fell in love with the game.

...when Storm Kick rooted you in place for what felt like five minutes, which was annoying as f-k when you missed the attack.

...The first time I kicked an enemy off a rooftop. That still hasn't gotten old.

...The game being referred to as "City of Blasters".

...When I first had the oppertunity to take Practiced Brawler, and passed it up thinking it couldn't be very good. Then finally taking it when I was almost into my 30's. I still kick myself for that.

I think this picture is proof positive I've finally gone insane.

Inspiration struck tonight, causing me to do this bit of fanart of Pep_Cat!

This might have already been mentioned, but I picked up a copy of Beckett Massive Online Gamer magazine. This month they showcase the art of Jomaro Kindred. One of the pieces of art they show is none other then his art of fan favorite Thor's Assassin.

It depends. I really want to be carefull about overdoing it, because much like my Stickfigure stuff, its way to easy to go overboard and kill the joke.

At the same time, theres a limited pool of people I can work with, as I'm always concerned about accidently offending someone. I tend to gravitate twords people that I know will either find it funny, or know that I'm not trying to mean or spitefull. The last thing I want to do is take someones character that they care about, and come off as I'm mocking them.

Perhaps, but it isn't as easy as it sounds. Of the hundreds of shots that my friends and I have taken, these were the only ones I could think up posters for. But if something particular comes to mind for a shot of Southstar, let me know and I'll see what I can do.
