I think that was because Peter already sold his soul to Mephisto once when he was upset that Harry Osbourn ate his Hostess Fruit Pie.

I believe it's been established that theres two people Taskmaster "can't" mimic. Deadpool, because he's simply way too unpredictable, and Moon Knight. Though technically it's not that he CAN'T mimic Moon Knight, it's that he *WON'T*, since Moon Knight tends to be more apt to take the punch rather then try to actually, y'know, DODGE it.
  5. I'm one of the people that actually likes the intro song. And while I don't like some of the choices (Black Nick Fury with hair instead of Samuel L. Fury? Manga Wasp?), I *DO* like some of the references. (Wolverine fighting along with Captain America against the Naz... er, Hydra invasion was a nice touch). Needs more Moon Knight and Deadpool though.

  6. Spoiler: It's metrosexual Batman
  7. Man, this show just keeps getting better and better. I loved the "Crab Net of Dr. Calimari" gag, and the hillariously self referential comment:

Daphne: "Maybe we should split up..."
Fred: "But it's too early to split up! We don't split up until we reach the terrifying amusement park or spooky caverns!"

And the fact that theres actually a store dedicated to selling trap parts (Which Fred is apparently a premium member of) just makes me laugh.

Yeah, those are the two I meant. I especially got a kick out of Silky making an appearance. Hopefully this means we'll see the Teen Titans at some point.

Complete series! On DVD! I am excited.
    Ahem.

    DO WANT.
  11. For those naysayers, this is another fine example of just how dark and serious Brave and the Bold can be. Also, did anyone else notice the two Teen Titan references?

Sometimes having too many people working on something at once is just as bad as having too few people working on something.

Mr. E definitely wants the new Mystery Inc. to find out want happened to their predecessors and expose the truth behind it were as the Mayor wants to have it stay hidden. Unless the writers are going for the "I feel so guilty so I have to create a 2nd identity to expose my guilt" subplot with Fred's dad.
Keep in mind though, that Mr. Jones attempts to keep the gang from investigating the mysteries may just be a smoke screen to take suspicion off himself that he's Mr. E. Also notice how in the first episode, Mr. Jones has a visible reaction to the locket, and shortly afterwords Mr. E makes his first contact with the game. The only other one who was there was Sheriff Stone, which means either he or the Mayor has to be Mr. E.

I'm gonna make a guess now. Mister E is either Fred's dad the Mayor, or Sheriff Stone.

For the same reason that Futurama was cancelled: People are [censored] stupid.

"Even the truth are lies on Fox", or something like that I face palmed so hard on that segment. Its funny watch them pull all their punches when doing any jokes Limbaugh/fox related so they dont offend of them.
Pull their punches? Have you been watching the same show we've been watching? They've taken *countless* shots at Fox and Fox news over the years.

I can't say I wasn't expecting it. Hopefully, Velma will realize she needs to be accepting of Shaggy and Scooby's relationship, rather then forcing Shaggy to choose one over the other.
  18. My god, I love this show so very, very much. We've got Terminator and Alien references, continued awesomeness from Sherrif Stone, an insane asylumn for animals, more hints at the greater mystery, AND a Yogi Bear cameo.

This is officially the best Scooby Doo series to come out in years.
  19. Also, Cleaveland Show was awesome with it's "Cleaveland Show Live" parody, and American Dad won massive points for referencing the "Superman reverses the rotation of the earth and turns back time" jazz.

It didn't so much, in my interpretation, have a political point as much as it was just generically teasing the right. While you could glean its having a point from other episodes, on its own it's just having fun. That was really Rush Limbaugh, guest starring to laugh at himself. I appreciated his appearance and felt he knocked it out of the park.

    Decent episode.
Yeah, I loved the fact that Rush was willing to voice himself. Also, I really don't think this was so much a political message episode as another shot at Brian, such as how easily Brian converts and how far he goes.
  21. Personally, I'm interested in seeing how the cliffhanger plays out.
