In the long run I would like to join the Milita, but it would not make any sense for Hyper Cat to join and he is the only one I have developed above lvl 10.

I understand you are short on Tanks and Defenders, which Hyper Cat is not(Scrapper) but I have been thinking of developing The Golden Enforcer an Invuln/Energy Tank, but he doesn't fit the current storyline, but maybe afterwards.

As for the Milita accused storyline, I am really enjoying it and I am enjoying being part of it.

Tom wasn’t following Derek long before they arrived at a building, where Derek appeared to be quarrelling with a friend but his friend soon took off.

Tom settled in, as he knew this may take a while. He picked out a spot where he wouldn’t be spotted and had a good view of the whole place.

He thought about going in and confronting Derek inside, he had seen where the open button for the door was after all but Tom knew taking Derek down wasn’t going to be easy. So waiting for the ideal time was the order of the day.

Later that evening:

Tom was woken from his daydreams of killing Derek Holden, when Derek appeared outside his hideout, talking on his phone.

Tom was raring to go, the ticking in the back of his mind getting louder and Louder and LOUDER… but NO, Tom knew that the best kills are due to good stalking, so he resisted… for now!

Tom a.k.a. Hyper Cat is sat in Officer Reid’s PPD office reading Derek Holden’s case notes, although he isn’t really all that interested, he hates these sessions with Officer Reid, telling him who he can and can’t kill. There is a constant ticking in the back of his mind telling him his kill rate is dropping, which needs to be appeased. But Tom knows that if he doesn’t adhere to these ‘guidelines’ then he will end up back in prison, where is kill rate will suffer greatly. But then officer Reid gets a phone call and says something that brings Tom’s attention back into the room:

Officer Reid
“News just in, this ones a ‘Cop Killer’, so you can bring him in dead or alive!”

Tom
“Where is he?”

Officer Reid
“He was last seen in Hollows, heading through the Gulch, but be caref…”

Tom didn’t hear anything after that, he was out of the building before he finished his sentence. The chance to kill a hero and Derek Holden at that! WOOOOAAAAH!

Tom is in the Gulch within minutes and picks up Derek’s trail soon after, but half the fun is in the chase, so Tom stalks Derek through the Gulch with the hope it will lead to more ‘heroes’ he can kill.

Is there an IC thread for this?

I would love to be involved in this, unfortunatly I have not been able to get into any IC teams and would like to learn more.

My main chars are all on Defiant but I have been developing several chars(most lvl 10-12) on Union in a bid to get into RPG.

Oh good ppl do have an opinion on this!

Ok, if you where to design the perfect team what would it be like? i.e.

What size is the team?
How many of each AT is there?
Which power sets do you need to avoid in rpg terms?
How closely linked to the charecters need to be?

What do you think?

He will pay for that. We will make them all pay for the mistake of allowing us to grow, they think we where a side-effect, if only they knew!

((I have never really Role Played before, but I have been looking for something to make the game a bit more interesting for a while, so I look to RPing for the answer, as this is a MMORPG after all.

So I propose a RP SG called The Red Dragons, the principles are fairly simple:

- players will be in charector at all times while ingame (1st meet is the only exception)
- all charectors will be red dragons (monster 6, reptile, red)
- they will be Mutation Origin
- they will have have Fire or Dark Powers (1 exception is stalkers, who can have Claws as dragons usually have sharp talons), unfortunatly there are no MM builds that would fit this theme, all other ATs have the either Fire or Dark (or Claws) Powers
- finaly players will be available to play on Monday evenings 7 til late

I would like a mixture of players who are new to RPing and those who have been RPing for a while.

I will set the scene in the next post and I would like others to jump in and add to the story. For those who are new at RPing 'The Gang' is a great thread to give you an insight into it all and entertaining too.

Also I plan to have a 'informal' meeting this Monday, then next week we will start proper ingame.

The Hive-Mind has discovered that the reason the Rikti has not wiped out earthlings is apparently due to heroes. We will investigate this further...

The Hive-Mind has been at war with the Rikti for millennia, so long infact that the Rikti have forgotten how the war even started, the Hive-Mind has not, it never does. As an organism that spans the universe, which once had over a thousand billion individual insects (although they are in no way individual) they are now down to a mere three million.

In a desperate attempt to save their kind they sent several Mothers to Earth, but they where shot down by the Rikti and only one Mother survived. Which quickly gave birth to 20,000 eggs, but the Rikti quickly discovered the location of the nest and swiftly killed the mother and 19,999 of her eggs. The first Earthborn insect escaped, knowing that the Rikti would soon come to destroy them the Mother placed the newly born insect into a pod, which would carry it to safety and provide it’s every need until maturity along with some useful technology.

The insects reach maturity in just 1 year, but the first Earthborn insect was alone, although it was linked to three million others, the Hive-Mind has no experience with working with just one insect or working with others that are not directly link to the Hive-Mind.

The Hive-Mind needs help from any teams or groups that are willing to help it to find some advantage over the Rikti that might help them survive the war. Please send a message to @Ickle if you are able to help.

Warning: The Hive-Mind can only communicate with others mind to mind and due to the weight of the 3 million minds it is difficult for humans to withstand it’s awesome power, only those of strong will are able to do so.
