Strangely enough I had no intention of posting here, but ran across this again accidentally and decided it deserved a nomination of some kind:

So... for a pajama party, Dragonberry actually puts ON clothes? -
Great first costume, Amber Wasp! Also, Luna Crimson, I like the first shown current costume. PixieDoll, very sexy first costume!
Here is Toughlove
and her Valentine Costume
and in her Business Suit
You can read more about Toughlove here. I can add more pics to this thread when I take some more screenshots & load them to a host. So we can only upload female toons to this thread? No guys, even if they're sexy? Here's Leo Rex
You can read more about Leo here -
Last one, the Jade Citadel, for the ninja/asian themed Kingdom of Jade villain group on Pinnacle. Tiny oversight-room base set up to grow. I've calculated how much prestige we need to have to delete the oversight room & add power, control & workshop & the necessary objects in one session, and we're saving up. The teleporter goes to Port Oakes & Cap au Diable, from which you can get anywhere else. For a cheap, efficient base, my teammates & I like this setup a lot.

Bonus, I figured out how to use the UBB thing for links just now! -
Mythral on Guardian has several semi-active or inactive members plus alts. This is a small oversight room base like the thread founder asked about. It's not set up to be enlarged easily, because I don't think it's going to get very much bigger than it is.

This is the first base I built, for the Paragon City Legion of Superheroes on Victory. It's been through one major rearrangement already, when I replaced the 2x2 control room with the 2x3, I had to move a couple of rooms around, shuffling objects between them.
Using the medbay at an intersection is great, since the actual objects you get for it take up so little room. For those of you with a startup base who plan to grow, DO NOT USE AN OVERSIGHT ROOM AS A CROSSROADS IF YOU PLAN TO REMOVE IT SOMEDAY. Instead of simply deleting one room & building the new ones, you may wind up having to do the whole base over again. I haven't had this happen, but was one of several people giving advice over broadcast to someone who wound up having to do that. I'm going to upload images of 2 bases with oversight rooms later, one of which is set up to be easy to alter when the time comes.
I was going for a clean, sci-fi look for the Legion base, but compared to some of these great-looking bases in this thread, it looks like East German engineering; extremely practical, but extremely boring. I may be changing the entry room on a few bases, now that I know you can move the portal.

Tech can see the monitors in the control room from his workbench. I didn't do this on purpose, but it's a great effect:

Regarding bases running on tight control, or tight space: I could build things on all 3 workbenches, but only had space & control for 2 at a time. I would make the components I needed on 1, then delete it & build the 2nd one to continue working. -
Here are pics of Castle Mortenheim, the base of villain group Sangreal on Victory. Sangreal has about a half dozen irregular players, plus some alts. The concept for the base is, Baroness von Mort is excavating & upgrading her grandfather's castle one room at a time.

The plan is to continue to gradually upgrade as prestige slowly comes in. For now, it more than meets our needs. I'm not 100% happy with this particular layout, but I'll show a couple more bases.

- Break Out There will be a named villain in the PPD jail that you have to break out.[...]

The one I keep getting, and I can't remember her name, seems to be some sort of Rad/Rad Corruptor. I must say, she's amazing. She runs around destroying every little thing she sees, but she puts out some nice, nice damage against actual enemies. Extremely helpful.

Stardusk. She is RAD! Black skin, dark red sci-fi outfit. The hero I fought in the bank was Doc Quantum, & I like to think Stardusk is his personal archenemy, because they both have science powers (he uses quantum physics, she's a black hole) and because if she's with you, she drops him like a sack of potatoes! I also like to think she's a bit of an airhead, as although she uses big words if something happens that makes her say something, the poor AI on her made her get lost in a 2 room warehouse & I had to go back & get her. I don't even have stealth & she lost me! -
Rogue Eidolon (Liberty, rad/rad defender) was Regina Van Gelt, the aging socialite widow of a wealthy industrialist. She was dying of untreatable cancer when she heard of a doctor offering immortality & superpowers to anyone with enough money who didnt care how it was done. The result was not what she wanted, and, horrified by Vahziloks methods, she now fights against his type of evil. Although she gave him the bulk of her fortune, she had vast wealth hidden in Swiss accounts, diamonds, offshore trusts, and stock portfolios & real estate held under other names (I dont tell the IRS everything, darling, I wasnt a-BOUT to tell Dr. V!). Apart from condos & beach houses in other cities, she has a 2-floor penthouse on top of one of the gothic buildings in Steel Canyon. The floor below is the Van Gelt Corporation, consisting mostly of her lawyers & financial managers. She is currently buying up large amounts of real estate in Baumton (People are treating it like a punch line! Theyre not thinking long-term. Im immortal now, I have to think long-term )
Leo Rex (Victory, claw/ref scrapper), born with feline features, was abandoned in a dumpster as an infant and raised by G.I.F.T. Although he receives the hero stipend and has a bed in one of the rooms in the G.I.F.T. office in city hall, he usually mooches food & sleeping space off of other heroes, contacts, & civilians he rescues or sleeps with them. He spends almost his entire stipend on junk food. Hoping to eventually become a full-fledged FSRB agent, he is studying criminal justice part-time at Paragon University on a mutant scholarship. (I dont feel a need to belong or a fear of sleeping alone because I have abandonment issues. I DONT!)
Toughlove (Guardian, inv/ss tanker) is Dr. Renee Picatti, a biomedical researcher who experimented on herself with a Crey mutagen mistakenly delivered to her lab, growing tall, muscular, busty and super-strong. In addition to her stipend, she makes money from articles, lectures and talk show appearances about superadine, rage, super-steroids and the theories and techniques of Dr. Vahzilok. In addition, she is starting to make money from pinup modeling as well. When the dance club was more accessible, she made some very nice tips as an exotic dancer. She has a condo with a Jacuzzi in Atlas Park.
Fire Efreet (Victory, fire/fire tanker) was summoned by MAGI and bound to defend Paragon City. She lives in one of the torches in front of City Hall. She does not need food or shelter, which is good as she is not getting paid. She is NOT happy.
Doctor Mystery is a psychiatrist by day & a crimefighting sorcerer by night.
Another character is a soldier from the future who lives off the stipend, bounties, and money paid to him by G.E.A.R. whenever he can provide them with future technology & help reverse-engineer it. He lives in a large loft in Kings Row (rent is CHEAP!). I also have a martial artist character from the future who is starting her own dojo for women only. She lives in a studio apartment with little furniture and likes it just fine.
I also have a character who is actually an energy draining monster imported by the government to help control the growing supercriminal population. It cant believe its actually getting paid to feed. It leaves suspects helpless when it drains their emotions, but it doesnt actually kill them. At least, its not SUPPOSED to Its moved into an abandoned building in Kings Row that it cleared some Hellions out of, and its spending its entire stipend on a sound system and music collection.
