ok, just did a test with the lvl 32 Demon/Pain MM i moved to virtue, i bought 3 lvl 35 Magic-Origin END Redux SOs (Power of Grey i think it was called) and did 2 tests, one before slotting them into Demon Prince and going into combat, then once more after slotting the END Redux, results:
before slotting the 3 SO 35's, the Demon Prince with both the lvl 6 and lvl 32 Upgrade powers drained down to critically low END in about 30-40 seconds, when i did the test again WITH the END Redux, he never even went to or below 4/5ths of his Max END for about 3 minutes of fighting before i stopped observing the results of the test
in the 2nd part of the test he was using so much less END while attacking that he could Recover most of it by natural Recovery Rate while still in combat, of course 3 SO 35s did likely hard/soft-cap his END Redux % as each SO gave 38.3% Redux -
hmmm....i know one way i can test that out i guess at least for MMs, time to get my Demon MM to 32 lol, i have another lvl 35 Demon MM but i stupidly decided to transfer her during that period of Free Server Transfers prior to Going Rogue release, so i dont currently have a lvl 32 Demon MM on the server i regularly play on, but for Demon MMs, i would need the lvl 32 Upgrade power to really test this
i know ive never slotted a Pet Summon power with END Redux, but i do know before i moved my old Demon MM over to virtue that her Demon prince with both Upgrades applied went thru END faster than anything ive seen short of my Dark/Kin Corruptor before got Stamina and END Redux IOs
ill definitly test this, if i see a noticable difference in the Demon Prince's END Usage then ill know its at least not bugged for Demons, ill have to try it out on my other MMs and Doms -
ok so, i dont have access to anyone in-game atm whom could tell me the answer ot this question, it should be able to be expressed as a yes/no answer, but we'll see
Endurance Reduction IOs in regards to Pet powers such as Animate Stone/Jack Frost/Flytrap etc even MM pets: do Endurance Reduction IOs do anything iwth Pet Powers other htan reduce the END use for SUMMONING the Pet? i want to know because i recently got an Earth/Earth Dom to 32 and the Animated Stone pet, while strong defensively, drains its END pretty fast with its half-the-normal recharge Seismic Smash attack which drains a high amonut of END but has half the Recharge time of any Player-Usable Seismic Smash power
so, do END Redux IOs effect the Attack/Defense Powers of pets or is it just the Summoning Cost? -
well most of the reasons for slotting Sets early have been discussed, but might aswell add my 2 cents of a situation where its almost required to get Sets even as low as IO 30s:
anything with the Stone Armor powerset, once you hit 32/38 (depending on class) if you knew to be a good Stoen Armor character you need Granite Armor, well, that Armor gives a -65% Recharge, which is 5% less than what Hasten gives you in benefit for 2 minutes, with Granite Armor on, if you do not slot IO Sets that give the +X% Recharge Reduction Set Bonuses, your really in the hole when it comes to using your attack powers, since with Granite Armor, Hasten is not able to be put on Perma, and it barely negates any of its own Recharge when used with Granite Armor, to me this is where Sets come in - slot Sets in your Powers that give you Recharge Redux bonuses, and if your like me, you went on Mid's Hero Designer and actually tested out how many Sets with Recharge Redux Set Bonuses youd need along with normal Recharge Redux IOs to reach default non-enhanced Recharge of your powers WITHOUT hasten
for my 38 Stone/Stone Brute i had to Slot 3 sets among his powers, and the rest of his attacks i slotted a couple Recharge Redux IOs each and bang im back at normal pre-Granite Armor attack/recharge speed and all without requiriing Hasten
in short: there are certain situations with certain ATs and Powersets where Sets are a really good idea
