Not necessarily. It depends on how you look at the term "superior reflexes". Bots get their defense from having force fields cast on them. Punks get their defense from the good leadership of the enforcers telling them what to do. Ninjas get their defense by having reflexes which are slightly better than your average joe, thus they are superior.
I'm not saying ninjas should or should not get more defense, but the description does not sound inaccurate to me as is. -
No, there's a movement speed debuff cap of 90% specifically so that you can't use slowing powers as an immobilize. Otherwise it would render immobilize resistance and protection semi-useless.
-
Wouldn't that encourage or even necessitate people leaving the zone to go find said TO, thus increasing the downtime between waves? Free money is a great way to get people to show up, but maybe you could do something else like ask trivia questions or have people guess the number you're thinking of. Something that doesn't prolong the already excruciatingly slow redside raids.

Macskull's proposed build has FAR more -KB than you will ever need in PVE, almost triple what many brute and stalker powers get. A single -KB IO is all I have in my Ice/Rad and it covers me fine. Zephyr -KBs are also very expensive.
SS and SJ synergize well because you can run both at the same time, but if you like Fly better there's nothing wrong with it, it's just slightly slower. It's a matter of preference. I use SS for invisibility and Fly for vertical movement. I also like hover sometimes for staying above fights and out of AoE range.
If you don't have a lot of money to spend on sets I recommend using generic IOs for most powers, but frankenslotting things like your attacks. That's where you buy pieces from several different sets and use them purely for the enhancement value, not the set bonuses. You can get 2x acc/dam, 2x dam/rech, 2x dam/end in your attacks for fairly cheap and be much better off than with generics. -
So that Ping may continue to PL his post count...
Happy birthday, dickweed. -
The jail room was hilarious fun. We died inside cells before we could get doors down. We spawned in cells, ran out and attacked a single mob, died, respawned in the same cell, and came back out to finish the mob off. I even got held a few times on my tanker. It took forever to clear the room, but it was the best part of the whole TF. That said, I'd be quite happy to never see another Rularuu as long as I live.

Imagine if you were traveling in Europe when you happened to meet Random Dude in a grocery store/book store/coffee shop/estate sale/whatever.

Picking up dudes while rifling through dead peoples' stuff ALWAYS leads to sexytime. So I hear... -
Being my first LRSF run, it was... educational. But I got to shove icicles in Statesman's face, so I was pretty damn happy.

I have been wanting to do LRSF with my Ice/Rad for a long time, so count me in if you're not already full or just full of corruptors.

There seems to be some confusion as to the use of the dimensional ground ray in the final fight of the Task Force. Before Reichsmans hit by the ray, he is in a phased state and is running a rather nasty debuffing aura. When he is hit by the ray, it grounds out some of his power and he returns to a normal state and his aura is shut down. This will persist for the duration of the fight. The dimensional grounding ray isnt intended to be used at specific points in the fight; it should be used early on, and one hit will do.
[/ QUOTE ]
Does he need to be hit once by each person on the team, or does it take a few minutes for the ray gun to take affect? When I did the taskforce, the final Reichsman stayed phased for several minutes after we started the fight. I know others on the team were using their grounding rays, and I personally used mine three times. Each time, it said my target was unaffected by it, the standard "He's phase shifted, you can't touch him" message. During that time, he was unaffected by any of my attacks or taunt as well, causing him to tear through the team. -
Barring unforeseen randomness, I'll be there again. Need more merits for stupid Zephyr: Knockbacks.

I'd rather be a robot that forgot it was a robot and humped one of its pseudo-children than appear on that 'reality' show. -
I'm very very very sorry but something came up tonight and I was not able to be online to even post I wouldn't be there for this. I hope everything went smoothly and you didn't wait too long before replacing me. I really wanted to be there for this. Again I'm terribly sorry!
-
I'd love to do this with my tanker, but I've only run STF with a scrapper so far. A training run seems like a good place to start, but feel free to replace me with someone who knows what they're doing if you want since the tank is pretty critical.

Ha! I was thinking of something just like this last night. I also thought about the Hamidon problem and the only solution I could come up with is that there are already plenty of people who do not go to the raids (myself included) so it shouldn't be that hard to find 3-7 of them with villains. So keep it on Sunday nights if that's what works for you, CL. All life as we know it should not grind to a halt for Hami raids.
And count me in for this every week. -
It was my pleasure! I think everyone died at least once, but it was lots of fun and we got the job done no problem. I'd definitely be down for more redside action, it's much too slow over there.
-
Ok, due to the overwhelming response, I'll stick with Saturday night. 7pm ET work for you, Celestial Lord? My Corruptor is Ice/Rad, so if no one else responds I'm sure we can find a Brute and some random bodies to fill it out.
-
One person for Friday night, one for Saturday. Anyone want to chime in with a tie breaker? Either night will work for me.
-
Hi Champs! My corruptor needs a respec badge to unlock a contact, so I'd like to run a respec trial sometime this weekend. I can do the first or second trial depending on what level everyone is, doesn't matter to me which. I was thinking Saturday evening, maybe 7ish ET? Would that work for anyone?
I've never done a villain respec before, let alone run one, but it sounds pretty simple. If anyone who knows what the hell they're doing wants to come boss us around though, that'd be fine by me.
So who's up for killing a giant tree?
