  1. Happy Belated Birthday Vanum!
  2. Hi there,
Just wandering through the forums to see what's going on. I don't know if the Union run had a sign up, but Madame Pistacio's run did. If you want to take a look at our league, here's a link to the sign up: http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=290837

MP was very particular about her requirements, but it worked and we wound up doing two successful runs back-to-back.

    Good luck!
  3. I'll bring my Rad/Psi defender, @Figment. She's all set with Lore/Hybrid and all that.

Yeah...this definitely saved us from having to run a couple times...or at least keep the melee from having to stay back waiting for the lightning to die down.

In the first few runs I was on, one thing I noticed was that I most often died when trying to summon my Lore pets. I'd either get caught in the lightning or cornered by an Olympian Guard. The last few times (including these two RHW runs), I summoned them near the edge of the bowl. It kept me just far enough away that I wasn't summoning them and then being dead, losing the pets. I don't think it's feasible for everyone to summon them farther away, but my debuff toggles were still running and I figured it was better to stay alive.
  5. You want us all Hybrid unlocked for the hard badge or the reeeeealllly omg that was so hard badge?

    hehe
  6. Death From Below - it's a low level sewer trial that's pretty speedy xp. Some folks run it over and over and over. It's fun, but some people just run it all day and that bores me...there's no "speed dfb" or variation on a theme.

    Give it a try!
  7. I predict that you will have...

    A Baby!

(I win, right? I'm totally right, so I win?)

No, but my real guess is boy.
  8. And that the dog doesn't try to eat the internets...just sayin'

Had I known what was going to happen I wouldn't have joined as it just seems to me like the worst of all worlds, neither fast nor rewarding.

I only said anything when the leader said "Nice and fast", no it wasn't.

I'm not the sort of peorson who bails on a TF/trial once it's started without really extreme provocation.
Then, again, as Medieval Power said "To each his own". I've never had any trouble getting fully tier 4'd and I'd, personally, rather not join a Lambda where every single thing on the outside is killed beforehand. I find it boring. It doesn't mean that the way you want it to be run is wrong, but it also doesn't mean that it would be appropriate/nice for me to tell you it wasn't a good run because I disagree with the way you ran it.
  10. I don't really think that there's a "perfect" or "ideal" way to run Lambda. Everyone has a way they'd prefer it to be run and, frankly, the only way to guarantee that anything is run the way you think is best is to run it yourself. Then you're in control.

If you get in on someone trial, it's theirs and they will run it the way they want to. I've been on trials that I thought were great and on ones where I thought really weird choices were made. On the great ones, I'll thank the leader and tell them I thought it was great if my computer's still cooperating with me. On the "weird choices" ones, I'll thank the leader and then keep my mouth shut about anything else. Most players I've teamed with are clear from the beginning how things will be run and it's your choice to stay or leave.
  11. I'll be there too! *runs off to the tailor to look for horns*
