OMG! SO Jason Mewes is filming a horror flick in my home town, and we know this young kid named Cody who is hanging outside the hotel Mewes is staying at.

Cody seeing a pretty girl walk by him, shouts at her with the "over coat" line from Strikes Back, having no clue that Mewes is right above the whole scene having a smoke. So Mewes hears the line and screams from his balcony, "YEAAAAAAAAH!!!!"

I cracked up hearing that! Only in Canada folks!

Actually it's the face of Proud Citizen or soon will be for my upcoming piece, check out the journal to see the full page layout...

I think I'm gonna draw in the other arm, so it appears the arm was ripped from across the body... so still have to do some redrawing layouting... also the final color will show more translucent, so gonna have to finish the feet (darn it!)...

Anyway, just thought I'd share.

Wait a second I LIVE in that town... Chatham, Ontario. It's 1975 everyday here, or at least the crack heads down my street would have me believe... if I hear anymore ****kicker music, I'm gonna tip over a cow! Don't get me wrong I love all kinds of music, but too much of one thing makes me go bonkers...

Hey stranger, awfully nice of you to drop by... nice to see you!

Okay if you haven't seen Tropic Thunder yet, I am having mad flashbacks of Tom Cruise saying, "playa"...

That's the idea/goal/hope... but with 3 figures to work on in this, there was a lot of color testing, so where it worked on 1 figure, I was 90% sure the other two would work out. I think the villain was a little rushed, but his costume is fairly simple. I designed the helmet with approval by the client, as usually he's seen without it.

By the way Des, your piece will be a push the envelope one, cause I'd want the fabric to feel like shredded latex... now I just have to figure out, ummm how the heck am I gonna do that?
