That's okay, I already had 6 and 1/2 hours sleep today... I was all revved up to finish early too... but then the day went to pot!

Firecracker Day was Wednesday here... otherwise known as Canada Day. I would be the only one using explosives tomorrow...

color test...

Felt guilty stopping in mid ink, as you can see I tightened up his already tight abs... and figured out a way to add the mesh shirt in the color stage.

I started to draw the chains tight on him, but for some reason in my head, I saw them as just hanging looser on him, kind of like suspenders. As for the wings, I think I am gonna go veiny instead of the costume creator version with big spines.

At least I got my cloud brush to work!

More to come tomorrow GH, kind of like this, but a lot tighter, and well the final as you know will be HUGE.

The sketch started as a standing pose with the cape falling normally behind her and one arm out creating the icicle ring effect, then it went to hovering with the cape out wide like wings, then both arms out with the cape falling behind her... before I knew it, she had 8 arms

DE: yeah I probably had that coming. I did this once with before... but the client had put the thought in my head by sending a lot of aura/action shots. This time out it was only suppose to be one hand, but like I told Aggy, I sort of lost control...

Larissa: you just told me I do white well, and I think you may have once told me I did black well. You're running out of colors hun...

Tough to tell... with this haircut, but I'm gonna go with 3rd row, 2nd, and 4th row, 2nd and 3rd. Though some of the freckles are nice... and that last girl on the 2nd row is hot in a mean sort of way.

Not sure if this will help anyone, but B.A.S on DA was looking for some help, and I came up with this chart... he said it did helped him, and so the retired art teacher in me just wanted to share it...

I will be making him a female one when he's ready. And also like I told him tonight, these shapes are meant only as a guideline, to be drawn lightly, and then with a bold darker line, to be drawn over them to show real details.

Played with a smaller version to test some colors, give it a look... when you can. Okies, gotta go grill for an hour!

Couldn't help myself, finished her up...

When I say throw away, I mean, I have no idea if I'm gonna like it. I go in with no sketch, just draw right on white, and "chisel it out"...

I don't think of any finished pose, other than to get a feel for the toon hopefully midway through... I usually start with the face, so after that turned out well, I started going for the arms... then the torso.

I actually forgot the wings, and the eye highlights and had to re-open the file twice, otherwise this would have been a 2 and 1/2 hour throw away.

Another 90 minutes to fix the stomach details, add the rest of the body and finish... I think I'll keep her now, or that is to say give her to VexXxa.
