I know, if Juggy's not careful, he'll be running a Jam Club!
-
Nice Dursagon, but why not place this in your own thread... I think it's worthy of more attention (from us). Oh ask Juggy if you can do another, if you want to that is...
-
You're welcome, I'll try to get back to the color on the weekend, that's when I do stuff off the books... (outside my work schedule)

Well normally she has pants, but if I had kept them, then this would just be a glamor shot... I'll let Vestan decide if he wants pants on her...

I think Toad was temporarily an X-Men in X-Men Evolution, but I'm guessing that really doesn't count....

I'm just busting on Scarf... fine by me if she wants to draw frog men... maybe she's French? -
Unless your name is Lemon Boy! Now I have to make Lemon Boy, hmmm what powers would he have?
-
Toad's not an X-man! Is it any mutant? You mean I could do Proteus? Actually Juggy, I'd like to change mine to Weapon X, so if someone wants the traditional Wolverine, it's up for grabs...
Oh and welcome to the boards Lily, anyone who draws Spiderwoman is okay in my book. If you're ever on Liberty look up the Envisionaries on the Paragon One channel, or my global @Lady Judgement... we'll hook you up! -
Okay, but do we only get to do one? Can you have a second round of names if we post our first piece in time before the deadline?
-
Happy Birthday Ironblade apologies for lack of color, but I'd like to come back to this to do it justice...
but for now I hope he likes it... tell him to download the large version, and afterwards I will watermark it.

My wife and I are donating 4 pieces of art to the event, Melones will decide the winner. But I will be doing 2 full figure pieces, and sketching another 2 which my wife will color in her vector art style, like this... I'll be choosing which 2 to color, and which she does based on the difficulty of the toon, or she may just overrule me, ya know?!
Anyway for those not in the know, examples of my work are in my signature... Information on the event is in my signature, and if you can't donate, you could always add some pink to your toon for the week as suggested in Melones thread.
Hope you guys can come out, I will be making an alt for the Freedom and Protector Servers (already have them for Virtue and Champion) so I hope to see you there...
LJ
EDIT: The winners will only be from the Freedom server, as this is where the event will be held on July 7th, 6pm PST. (California Time).
Melones will be choosing winners based on the events at the event, ie costume contest, etc... The winners she chooses can contact me at baquitania@gmail.com, and we'll talk about the details you'll have to send me in order for me to start your artwork.
These will only be for single figures, with simple backgrounds... but hey they're free! Good luck to everyone! See you Saturday!

Damn... Is all you need to do to get some art is ask, or is this guy just lucky?
[/ QUOTE ]
Sometimes you don't have to ask, sometimes the character concept is enough to inspire someone to draw it... like so...
Also imho a critique of free art is not required unless the artist asks you to do so, in fact an unwanted critique is something I personally find off putting.

ooo gonna be nice... I +fav'd the LOV... was very Night on Bald Mountainish.

Sorry, just saying:
a) questions never hurt nobody...
and
b) this should be a sticky! -
I think you could move one to the various kinds of costume archetypes:
The Super Babe, The Super Dude, The Robot, The Anti-Hero/Heroine, The Winged Hero, or the Cape vs No Capes Dahling argument... -
Bumppitty Bump Bump! Bump!
Read all 8 pages, and then get ready for a battery of questions... cuz that's how we roll
