There was no way everyone could've seen it. There'll be several videos and a comic book recap of it according to LH's announcement. Plus there's loads and loads of pics already posted both in the Screenshot section and General.

I can't find it right now, but it was suggested (I think in the General section) for the event itself to be added as a cutscene to a flashback mission. That way, everyone could see it, and without the spam.

Dunno if that'll ever happen. I mean, it was suggested a few minutes ago for an event that happened a few hours ago so it might be awhile before it could happen but, it's been suggested.

If anyone else has ideas for better implementation or a way to work it into a mission like flashback, hollar.

They were likely thinking that the people who thought that having the actual devs that recently got married in real life, do it again several times over and and over again for the people who would care enough to show up might enjoy the effort. Probably thought the ones who didn't really care for the event wouldn't bother showing up.

So sorry if having a bunch of actual people put on a show just for you wasn't good enough.

I double checked both my login to the forums and NCSoft. They have the correct email address. I double checked both my PC and My laptop, no sign of the emails. The last emails I received where the thanks for purchasing wedding pack, and the upgrade email. I didn't receive a notice about double xp or the wedding/spring fling. I had a conversation with a long time vet, wednesday morning about the wedding edition. They new nothing about didn't get an email either. So its not just me.

LH, I am a long-time vet and my experiences match what is being described above. I don't think I've received an email other than purchase/upgrade confirmations for about a year.

The issue is not client-side. There is something wrong with your bulk email distribution. Have your people check it and don't just assume that the problem is our fault.

I find myself incredulous at the fact that I'm arguing for getting bulk mail, lol.

Your email service might have them grey listed. When they send an email your service would bounce it back. They have x amount of time to retry, which would be accepted and they would be added to the list of "good" sites. Many bulk email systems(and spammers) dont retry after the first attempt. They would never be allowed on the "good" list. When you purchase an add on, it likely is acknowledged by a different service.

I've gotten all other mailings and newsletters from CoH except this one. I haven't changed any settings. Just thought it was something NC might want to know about, that's all.

The only thing in my junk folder is an ad from Party City. Not to be confused with Paragon City.

I think you need to look into your emailers. I haven't changed email addresses since starting CoH nearly 45 months ago, and I didn't get a double xp mailer or wedding package/Valentines day mailer, either. I am not alone on this. Surprisingly, I did buy 1 Wedding package and got 2 emails, 1 verify the purchase and 1 saying my account was upgraded. Oh and if I thought it was really worth buying, I would have bought 2 one for my second account that's nearly 36 months old.

You need to correct your email with NC then, or *sign up for the emails* because it IS an option you can decline. You may have simply checked the "don't send me any info" at the outset. Go back and check for it, I'm not quite sure exactly where to look since I've always got those things coming in

Of course all you otherwise need to do is sign up for updates from places like MMORPG.com or wherever else that spams the same news 15 minutes later
