yeah i remember the riders from the LGTF and it really made me wonder about this question course i just now get around to figureing out if i can use them if they arent taken though.

still wondering what would be the recommended dev/mod to contact in regards to this.

i get what yor sayin forbin, the thing about the 4 horsemen is that not only is it marvel but its biblical as well. thats what makes me wonder if it would get nerfed or not.

hmm, i dunno. is there possibly a dev or maybe a mod i could PM to ask these questions that could give me a definite answer? i mean i know they are busy busy busy right now but maybe i could get one of them that would not just quote me an answer but a yes or no or something.

well if it gets generic'd on test its no big deal really. i wanted to make it so it did not violate the EULA if i took her to live so therefore those people you speak of would have nothing to look out for.
the name is part of what i like, its just a funny name cause if you say it out loud its hard to tell if its a name or speaking of a liquid crystal display. i cant deviate the name too much cause it wont be as humorous (to me) as it is now.
i mean i could easily use the name with some other costume.

thing is though i suppose i could just make the tank on live with the same look cause theres nothing wrong with a short girl in a pink dress.

as far as the horsemen it wasnt so much a question of whether or not the names where available but moreso if it would be a violation of the EULA due to the fact that they are also used in marvgel comics and rather notable characters. like i said i didnt want to use the marvel comics look just the names and make the costumes my own creations.

ive got a couple questions about it...

ok, so ive got a completely copied toon on test at the moment. made it on test cause i didnt think it would be that big a deal there. now that ive almost gotten her to 20 on test i really really like the look and name of the toon. i know fora fact that if i where take her onto live servers i would be generic'd in name and costume quicker than i can count to 50. i cant say i dont agree with that action but i would like for that not to happen. her name is Elsie D. and she looks EXACTLY like shes does in the comics.
as far as costume goes, what can i do to not get generic'd but still keep the general idea. about the name would Elsee D or Elsie Dee be enough get by?


the other question i have had for quite some time... i have always had and interest in the characterization of the four horsemen of the apocalypse. whether it be the biblical versions or the marvel comic versions they are interesting and would make good toons. im not talking about the look im talkin about the names...
would i get into it for using the names or not?

the toon that had problems in galaxy city last night was able to log back in today.

so thats what happened. it just pooped out all of a sudden and i just figured the stability issues i was having just got worse. ungh, that sucks cause i had a team and we all where headed to galaxy city.

hmmm cause i sorta remember not bein able to use my vet rewards or booster packs in AE till i got them from the vendor.... which is why i made a mad dash to get then all unlocked cause i was workin on an arc that most all of my actualy player toons where in and they all use booster pack stuff.


does anyone have the science pack stuff for AE critters or not?

i cant find them in the AE critter creator screens or to purchase them at the vendors

i knew you couldnt buy them for your player toons from the ticket vendor.

ok, now that what i thought was true has been confirmed, where in the hell is the science pack costume pieces?? i have all the other boosters for my players and i got all the others from the vendor but i cant find the science there

i coulda sworn i had to get the tech and magic booster pack stuff at the ticket vendor. someones gotta know if that was true or not.

i cant recall if i had to unlock the booster pack costume stuff at the vendor or if it was there already just because i had them.

can anyone confirm or deny that the boosters had to be purchased at the vendor or not? i checked Pwiki and it didnt answer my question.

i just thought it was funny so i posted it. yes, the pic ended up smaller than it was supposed to be for reasons unknown and made it so it was hard to see the problem but for the love of pete having my powers runnin was sorta part of the haha. geez i have bad eyesight and i could still see that it was missing.


i bugged it ingame. it was detail oriented in the bug report. i see no reason to make it completely detail oriented to all of you over serious yahoos.

you seriously cant see whats wrong? theres a good sized piece of the armour missing. your not supposed to be able to see the bottom of the helmet.

the bug i filed in game was alot more detailed than what was posted here, honestly the only reason i posted here also was i thought it was funny.

i didnt realize i could reset them from the keybinds options menu. i got it set now so it doesnt autorun after 2 seconds.

is there a way to disable the autorun on your mouse movement?

anyone else having alot of problems with mapserving? i mapserved 4 or 5 times. a couple of times from opening other non-CoH windows (i play in windowed mode) and the other times it just seemed random. wasnt doin anything special in game, just standing.

oh well, i ended up using a different costume that i already had a name attached to it for the character

will do funk. i really dont think ill use that energy cloak often, but i know ill prolly take it anyways.

its a male toon. i already got the costume for now but ill change it as i always do as i lvl.

hmm, torrents not bad but im not feelin it so much.

im tryin to find a good name for a science energy melee/energy armour brute. ive been reading a ton of comic books lately so every time i come up with a name this isnt taken already its a name that marvel has used.

i want something unique with no numbers or dashes and has a certain amount of aggressive tone to it that relates to the energy based powers and armour.
