  1. So i've come back to CoX after a veryyyy long break and a lot has changed! I have a level 40 DS/Nin Stalker I want to continue leveling. Let's just say I need a refresher for IO's and all that terminology as I can't remember half of it.

I'm also wondering what a good build for farming would be, or if it's even possible on my stalker. If not i'm looking for an extreme damage build. If someone could post a build and/or give me a little refresher on the enhancements I should be aiming for, I'd really appreciate it.

    Thanks
  2. So i've come back to CoX after a 1300+ day break (according to my login page) and my corrupter is level 39. Let's just say I need a refresher for IO's and all that terminology as I can't remember half of it.

I'm also wondering what a good build for farming would be, or if it's even possible on my corrupter.

  3. Figured out my problem through the surprisingly helpful Tech Support #. I checked my fan speeds to find out my 8600 was roasting at about 130 celcius . Long story short, the fan was done and it was time for an upgrade.

    Currently enjoying my new ATI HD 5670 (;
  4. So my graphics card was fried...bought a new ATI Radeon 5670 which made the game unreal! Before I went to bed last night I did a computer restart for old time sake and when I went to log onto the game this morning it crashes.

I click the COH Icon, and when I press "agree" the loading screen comes up...thennnnnnn. crash!

The error report comes up and bam, done!

    What's happening?
  5. Windowed mode seemed to make things even worse :\
  6. I'm not getting the lag spikes that put me down to a killer 3-5 fps, but I still cannot run the game above the bare minimum without dropping to about 10fps.

This needs to be addressed as I don't know what else I can do, and it seems like other people are having similar issues.
  7. So...I take apart my PC and holy smokes, there was more dust on the coolant fan than in my grandmothers...wow off topic!

Yeah there was a ton of dust, got it all out, as well as I could, and installed Service Pack 2. I also turned off my Windows Sidebar and a few other programs that started up on startup.

Let's see how things go, thanks for the help!
  8. Thanks for all the help. Yeah Mandu, I took a look at my computer and lone behold i couldn't even see through the side venting there was soo much dust!

    Time for some cleaning!
    Would you recommend pressurized air?
  9. Is this worth keeping...he's only level 16 but that's my highest. He seems decent, but I have heard things about this combo being lackluster in end-game and pvp.

    Any suggestions.

I am pretty darn new to the game so i am open to suggestions of all types. Even different AT's. Thanks
  10. Thanks for the reply. To go from service pack one to SP two what is the best way besides autoupdate, as it seems my OS doesn't like it that much

  12. Hey everyone, so I recently came back to CoX and am liking what I see. Unfortunately soon after upgrading my account to Going Rogue I started experiencing heavy, heavy graphical lag issues. As far as I know it has nothing to do with my internet connection. It usually occurs during missions in Praetoria, but has also occured in the Rogue Isles on my various toons.

To let you know exactly what happens, everything is running top-notch, no problems at all. Then suddenly my screen drops to about 1fps. I still have control over my character, but the screen is lagging so much it doesn't do much. I tried updating my nVidia driver which went well, but I still am having the same problem.

Here is the info you guys probably need in order to help me.

    Thanks in advance
