  1. The way to have fun in PVP is to except your limitations and the many, many, many defeats you will have and revel when things do go your way. I play a Dominator in PVP and know that the moment I step into the zone I am going to be a favorite easy target. I relish catching people who view me as an easy target (which all dom's are, of course) and then surprising them from time to time.

If thats not fun for you, than just don't do it.

But nobody is forcing you to team. You won't be able to do all the content, AV missions especially, but it is still an option. You will be able to do probably 95% of the missions, and can mostly avoid the ones with multiple glowies, except for the ones they haven't fixed the mission intro yet (And some of them you don't actually need to click simultaneously, despite what the mission requirements say.)

Unfortunately, a lot of the more unique content in the game and some features (respec trial) are only available to those who group. If you really want to play for the content you are often forced to team. The irony of this is that when teaming, you seldom get an opportunity to focus on the content, you have to run at the pace of the team and often don't get the back story unless you are the leader.
  3. If you are an illusion controller, using your own private tank army (aka PA) before costing Flash will typically prevent that free hit they seem to get while you are casting Flash (which has too be done right smack from the middle of the mob).
  4. Great post and combined with the information from dev starts to shed some light.

Does anyone know what the resistance modifier numbers are for the commonly used status effect protections like combat jumping, acrobatics, weave, US, Unstoppable, etc.?
