if i'm correct the lgtf will trigger invasions even though the daily thing is over

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, but that doesn't change the fact that the event ended abruptly. A post to the boards that the event will be over in a couple of hours is not great communication.

Of course, if the event was no fun, no one would care. =)

    [/ QUOTE ]

It's not the devs fault you guys don't read the forums. The length of the event was known and discussed in many threads even before it went live and it was still being discussed on the test server and in the test forums. Usually when whiners started complaining how they hated the idea of the invasion. The common response was shut up it's only for 2 weeks. The event started July 24, 2007. it lasted 2 weeks. That's 14 days. Learn to count. It was no surprise to anyone that use the forums regularly it ended when it did.

Learn to count? How about you learn to chill? No need to jump down these people's throats because the end of the event caught them by suprise. A few people actually have lives that prevent them from reading every post ever made on these forums.

Nice vid, except I didn't care for the voice actor doing the talking. Not sure really what to say, but it felt 'wrong'. Or, rather, not quite right. Still, it was a good video.

It's almost like someone who doesn't naturally have a deep voice but is trying really hard to sound like James Earl Jones. Straining to speak from the back of their throat.

If you watch it without sound it is much better.

I mean, without it, how would we ever have found out that the canon/in-game Statesman is such a collossal jerk?

    [/ QUOTE ]

You haven't paid much attention to some of the posts made by Jack "Statesman" Emmert then have you?

    BaZing!

P.S. Couldn't agree with you more
  4. I remember when this post in the Justice Forums didn't have any replies and was fresh out of whatever left field it sprung from:

    Just look at it now

A bad name can ruin a good character.

Not happy with your costume? You can change that. It'll cost you a fortune at low levels, but at least its fixable. But a bad name will haunt you.

You can create the perfect character with the perfect look and get them all leveled up just the way you want...but if you're not satisfied with the name it'll eat away at you until you eventually have to re-roll.

Take the extra 20-30 minute upfront and create something original that you love. Don't give up out of frustration. If it's already taken, that just means it's not original enough.

Couldn't agree more, and by all means make sure you spell it correctly. There is nothing worse than being 20+ levels in and realizing you are stuck with Electic instead of Electric, Molton when it should be Molten, Tornadoe instead of Tornado, Granut instead of Granite (ok that last one was a stretch, but from what I've seen it could definitely happen).
