If it were I13, i'd prolly have enough merits to buy 2 LOTG IO's, but COULDN'T because the merits have been spread out over a dozen different heros...
That's the way it's supposed to be.
All the money and resipies i got over this last week have been realocauited to alts that need it, and to my INF "bank". (my current active alt is the bank.)
That's not the way it's supposed to be.
If you at least make the merits tradeable and sellable... it won't be AS bad IMO. if not...
That would be bad.

Why? Nice statments but where is the explanation? What's wrong with the way i currently do things? What am I exploiting? And where have the dev's said as much?
[/ QUOTE ]He's just being difficult. He has this thing against twinking like its the worst thing to ever happen in an MMO. I think twinking is fine because it promotes the creation of more alts. I know for me since the Invention System came out there are powerset and power combinations I would never have dreamed of playing because IOs help those sets out so much that I could never played them with just SOs.
[/ QUOTE ]
I wouldn't still be playing this game 4 and half years after it's creation if each and every alt i've made and leveled had to go through the same growing pains my first one did each and every time. SCREW THAT. If an MMO promotes a play style suited to single hero play, something with a high level limit, that's very loot driven, and has an engaging end game, i can see why some people may frown about "twicking".
But in this game... Alting is encourged. We have more char slots then any other game i can think of. More possible playable combonations, FAST leveling, and no real endgame to speak of. "twicking" alts to off set the growing pains of running the same freaking content for the 25th time is a GOOD thing, not something to be discrourged. Alting keeps this game freash. (IMO of course.) Encouring people to focus on a single hero IMO isn't a good fit for this game.
But only time will tell. -

Pre I13 you would not be able to buy a LOTG with merits. You would have to hope you got the drop you wanted. If you like the pre I13 method you can still choose to take a random drop (In reality you buy a random drop) after completing most of the TFs. With the exception of those TFs that were heavily farmed you are no worse off now then before. Each of your alts can take a random drop, and with some of the TFs 2 or 3 random drops.

Your somewhat right, and that's why i'm soften to merits, but I can still do what i do now, and right now, i'm dependent on the MARKET to get 90% of the stuff i need. I don't MIND how things are now, but if the MAJORITY of people hord merits like i think they will, the supply at the market will dry up, leaving ME high and dry. Or prices will rocket up even more then they are now. If i'm WRONG. No harm no foul. But i don't think i am and thus, i'm voicing my concern.
and if i'm right, it leaves me at a disatvantage simply because of my current play style, a style i figured this game above all promots, alting. I mean.. we get what, a dozen slots per sever to make people... can buy up to 32... an amazing Char creations system and quick leveling... but this new system "encourges" just the opsite. Pick one main, and run all your tf's with him.
Ok, i can see a proble with merits being sellable. But what's the problem with tradable inbetween heros/villians on the same account? that's be SOMETHING at least. I'd still be tied to mainly ONE of my two accounts for TFing, but it's be easier to built up merits when they are cut in half as apposed to cut between about 20+ ACTIVE alts... -

Seriously You think 120 million inf is absurd compared to running 5 positrons ?
Yes. Easily. Positron is not hard with the right group construction (i.e., small).

5 Positrons for me = 10 hours
120 million ~ 50-60 hours

[/ QUOTE ]
I agree with this, but I still have a problem with it.
I'm locked into doing it with same hero. This is a major sticking point for me. Lets take my play session friday, one of the rare times I get a FULL day to play.
Ran an ITF with my Fire/Emp. Then i ran a KTF with my Sonic/NRG blaster. Did a Numina with my WP/BA tank. Ran another ITF with my Ill/Sonic controller. Did two more KTF's later that night, one with my Rad/Sonic and one with my Ice/Ice blaster.
Last week, i had a week off work, (my first full week off in 11 years. It was epic... LOL) During the week i ran a freaking TON of TF's. STF's, ITF's, KTF's, Cupa TF's, just about anything that was forming I ran if i could. Almost every one with a different hero, just for the sake dusting off some old alts and playing them again. For no other reason then, "I haven't played this guy in a long time..."
If it were I13, i'd prolly have enough merits to buy 2 LOTG IO's, but COULDN'T because the merits have been spread out over a dozen different heros... This is how i play. This is what i ENJOY. This is how i THOUGH the dev's wanted us to play. But this new reward system DOESN'T reward the alt a holic. It punishes us. All the money and resipies i got over this last week have been realocauited to alts that need it, and to my INF "bank". (my current active alt is the bank.) In I13... If i want to save merits, i have to run the same guy... over... and over... and over again. Or I can play like i do currently, just pick random rolls when i can afford them... and HOPE I have a market around to supplie me with IO's I'm not able to save up for thanks to alting. and i'm not hopeful that people will still be feeding the market post I13 like they are now. I forsee supplie drying up... prices skyrocketing... and me being SoL unless i conform and just start running Acid Rock exclusively for TF's. I hope i'm wrong. i do. If the market doesn't crash in on itself, i can still play the game somewhat they way i do now... but if it does... i guess i'm screwed eh?

Q: Why are merits untradable/unsellable? All the rewards they're replacing had no such restrictions, why these? If they have to be untradable/unsellable, why aren't they account-based, rather than character-based? If you run more than a couple characters at a time, this will fragment your merit pools and dramatically reduce the value of the merits you earn. If its a reward for time played, why should the particular hero I play matter?
A: Merits were designed to represent an individual characters accomplishments and time invested doing missions. Thus, untradeable and unsellable.
[/ QUOTE ]
I realize there are pros and cons to making merits tradable. However, I have some concerns regarding the practicality of this system.
These concerns more or less translate into the 'merits discourage altitis' argument that has been raised numerous times already. However, here is an example coming from the perspective of someone who usually puts together TFs (not necessarily speed runs)...
In the past my experience has gone something like this:
Me: "X TF is forming up. Could use a Y AT (whichever AT is needed). Still need Z number of people to start."
Player: "Sure, I have that AT. Let me switch."
Team Mate: "If we don't get a Y, I can switch toons."
How I predict i13 TFs will be formed:
Me: "X TF is forming up. Could use a Y AT (whichever AT is needed). Still need Z number of people to start."
Player: "I have a Y, but he's not my merit toon. Sorry."
Team Mate: "I also have a Y, but I really want the merits on this toon."
I realize that team composition matters on some TFs (MSTF for example) a lot more than others. However, from a very practical stand point, it does make forming teams for TFs more difficult/restrictive, especially if you are trying to form a TF that requires 7 or 8 people to start at times of the day that are not peak hours or on servers that are less populated.
If my prediction is off, please feel free to inform me.I haven't had as much time as I would like to review all of the feedback/changes that are being made.

Seems about right to me.
I pride myself on being a utility player. I'm MORE active than a "casual" player, in all honesty, so i have a fair number of alts that have hit 50. One from each and every hero AT, and 3 of the villians. I pride myself on being able play any pistion as it were. Need a tank? See Carbide, my Invlun/SS. Defender? Acid Rock is your man, the Rad/Sonic. Controller? Zero G the Gravity/Kin troller of pure awsome. (he was my first 50. He has a special place in meh heart.) Blaster? Major Amp, Sonic/NRG, good to go. Scrapper... for some reason... take your pick, i got 3. Personal Fav is Gracken Kat/Invuln. I can even bring a Peacebringer if your feeling froggy.
NOW... i forsee me spending ALOT of time on Acid Rock... and while i enjoy the heck out of playin him... I enjoy changing gears from day to day.
Doing such under this new systems punishes me. and why? can the dev's give me ONE GOOD REASON why i shouldn't be able to pool my resorces between all my alts? Between my 2 accounts? Bah. -
[ QUOTE ]
I think this is the crux of the issue. Will the players take what's behind door number 3 or will they save up for what they really want.
[/ QUOTE ]
This is excatily IT. Well people still buy random rolls in enough volume to feed the market... so that prices don't skyrockt or IO's go out of circulation.
I don't think they will. I think they'll save there merits.
On ONE hero. There TF hero.
That's what I forsee this system encourging people to do. Pick on guy, and grind rewards with him. Not everyone will, but i belive a majority will, for as long as they can stand it.
At least if we still had random rolls on tf's, supply to the market would stay consistent somewhat, (people would be more incline on shorter tf's to take a roll instead of merits) and would allow those of us that ENJOY our current playstyle to KEEP PLAYING OUR WAY. Will AT THE SAME TIME encourge people to play longer TF's and run story arches...
Your limiting our choices... encouring single hero/villian "mains", and discourging teaming. HOW can you thing that's a good idea is BEYOUND me. Are you being force by upper managment to do this? It seem uncharatistic to me... -

Hmm... what's Numina's Unique?
As a casual gamer, why would I only run Positron?
I'm a casual gamer, if I really want that unique, then I will just be saving to get it but it won't become the central focus of my life.
I like this game because I don't have to have the absolute best stuff to be able do some of the harder/cooler content.
I like WoW as well as this game but with WoW, I know I will never get to do the super dungeons because I'm just not dead set on collecting 'uber' gear.
I HATE Final Fantasy XI because EVERYTHING is completely set on the stuff you have and if you don't have it, you 'ARE' dead.
Say I can run Positron... twice a week because of a 3/4 hour peirod of time, all the other time is generaly an hour to 90 minutes a day.
How long would it take me to get 250 merits considering that in all that other time I would be playing the rest of the game?
And I'm serious, what is Numina's Unique?
[/ QUOTE ]
The casual gamer is accually the one getting shafted here. In many different ways.
As a casual, how fast is your AVG Eden trial? 10 mins? No? well, thanks to powergamers you get 2 merits for it. Enjoy.
How about a KTF? 45 mins to an hour? Here you go, 7 merts.
2 trials regular players don't speed through now don't get enough reward to buy a common SO. Each of the said TF's have numerious AV's you have to defeat to complete. But not worth a common SO.
You know what'll happen when the powergamers and farmer turn there attation to other tfs? You get screw again. The dev's have said almost as much in THIS thread. There datamining is skewed farming and powergamers. There balancing the game around THEM. So casual get less and less for ther time cause people with all the freaking time the world are gaming the system.
Granted, i also don't belive "loot" is the be all end of all of this game, but without any reward, what's your modivation to run content AGAIN you've already ran a DOZEN times? I mean.. I've ran it all already... i'm sure most of us have... few noobs out there may not have, but they are hardly the majority... If the reward for running a TF is widdled down to insiginefince because of power gamers, what's my modiviation to run them again? Now, take into consideration if i want to grind Merits i have to do it on one hero... so, i'll be stuck running TF's for crappy rewards on just one hero... to get stuff to build my other heros...
When before, I'd play whoever i wanted... take random rolls, put the crap I didn't want on the market, use the money I made to buy the crap i did... and all of that was interchangble between my 2 accounts. I could play who i want, when i wanted, and pool my resorcuses between them all. It was a system that worked. and worked well. It's only flaw was some outragesly expensive IO's, and having merits as an addition to the old system patched it's one major flaw... resulting in an exellent IMO rewarding system.
NOW. Merits are IT. you collect them, trade them in for what you want, and go. It takes more time... it limits you mainly to one hero, and the majority of tfs now will be SPEED TF's. Eden will amost never be ran... and the market will see crasy inflattion once random drops stop getting sold since almost none in going to be blowing merits on random rolls. I said almost no one... sure some will, but the suppily will dimisish drematically, just wait and see.
But it seems, the dev's have to accually SEE it happen before they'll consider doing anything about it. So, just push I13 live already so we can get the ball rolling and see who's right. I'd love to be proven totally wrong on my view of the upcomming change, BELIVE ME. But i don't think i am. -

For a grand total of 2770 Merits 2770/55 (Posi Run Hero Side) = 51 times WITH THE SAME GUY. Times 200 minutes (less than your data mine at current) = 10200 mins (170 hours or 7.1 days). The 3 hour break for claiming Merits would be absorbed into the next running of Posi, so 7.1 days of back to back Posi would get 1 character their Merits.
[/ QUOTE ]
Please note, that somewhere in the middle of that they'll do a datamine and nerf the rewards of the TFs people are currently running, requiring you to find a new farm target.
This is not just me being pissy (although I am being pissy admittedly), Synapse was upfront. They will nerf the rewards of the TFs that people get significantly better at.
The only hope that grinding will not take forever as you opined is if people get fed up and start taking the random roll. And I don't think that will happen for Pool C until the roll rate is 10 or below.
[/ QUOTE ]
Oh i love that aspect too.
"once you guys get good at this stuff, we'll stick it to you again..."
Or not even that.
"Once the gold farmers start farming the crap out of TF's we'll screw the casual gamer AGAIN and lower the merits."
I give them a little credit for having the balls to be up frount about it, but it's a crappy polisicy IMO. -

This part right here, more then anything, is a REALLY bad idea.
Look, this game is all about alting. Want to know what my typical game play sessions look like?
I log on, check the TF channels on my server, if one is running im intrested in, i ask what is needed, pick one of my MANY MANY alts, and run the tf. Whatever reward i get can be shared between ALL my alts. This keeps the game FRESH for me. If i'm not in the MOOD to run hero "X", i'll run hero "y"... If the team needs a tank, I can fill that... a defender, ok, i can switch...
If merits go live like above, i'll have... basically ONE TFing hero. Out of 17 active alts. My old play style, the one i enjoy, will be shot to hell by the fact it'd spread my merits out accross 17 heros and would take... MUCH longer to build up enough merits on any ONE hero to afford to buy anything.
THIS IS A BAD IDEA. IMO, the whole merit system as a replacement to our old reward system isn't the BEST idea you guys have had, but this part of it is just down right BAD. They HAVE to be tradable. Or at the very LEAST shareable between heros on the same account. I'd still be unhappy with THAT because i have two accounts... but it'd be better then this...
Come on guys, listen to reason. Alting is the live blood of your games replayability. Pigen holing me into one primary TF running hero and villian out of my 17 active charters is a BAD idea. It will seriously hurt MY enjoyment of the game, and many others i would think, cause i'm not the only one i see on the channel asking people what they need for tf running. Most everyone does. This part at the very least needs reconsidered. -
I've got an Ill/Sonic that's lvl 34 and about one KTF aways from ITFville. I can't commit to every night, as tuesdays and thrusdays are bad for me... but I'm a willing recurit when i'm able. For sure.

Isn't that the truth. Add me to the list of those people who are a bit taken a back at how much hate something this small has generated.
And for people, going on about fairness, on princable i see your point, i do, but, the truth is, LIFE isn't fair, on so many more GRAND levels then this... it just seems to trivial to fight over. It might not be fair, but it's a game where talking about, not some kid stricken with cancer or aids or something, which from the HATE and VENOM, and PASSION i read in some of these postes, you'd THINK was the case.
Prospictive people... -
eh... the 2XXP weekend will be awsome, i just wish i wasn't suffering from a mild case of CoH/V burnout ATM...
Maybe i'll take the week before it off... play the weekend like mad...(except for firday night, cause i'll be seeing The Dark Knight.) then take a week or two off to play some old RPG's i've been thinking about playing... I'm in a reto kick right now. I just run through Chrono Trigger last weekend...(the news of the DS version reminded me of that old classic) going to finish it this weekend...(i'm to the final boss... which is like a 4 hour fight...i mean, they let you save in the middle of it IIRC...) then after that... maybe i'll finialy get around to playing them FF collections i bought but never played... 1,2, and 5 would be oldschool, AND new to me. heh.
Either way, I'm off that Friday, (i took it off weeks ago. Before burnout set in.) and i plan on getting my lvl 45 Fire/emp to 50... then prolly working on my Kin/Psy... he's my oldest hero that i haven't made to 50 yet... he's prolly pushing 2.5 years old. I kind of stalled out on him because, well, I've played a Grav/Kin to 50, and a Rad/Kin troller to 50... so he wasn't a big priority to level for me. But I want to get him "finished" and a weekend of 2xxp ITFs will prolly do it, or get me DARN close... -

I'm sure at some point you're going to offer the VIP/Destined One badge and Prestige Power Slide power as a vet reward (which I think would be spiffy, even though I already have those!), and then the same old gang of complainers is going to, well... complain!
[/ QUOTE ]
I wouldn't get my hopes up for the stuff people paid EXTRA for. The preorder stuff is one thing, since people didn't pay any extra for there preorder (unless some store riped them off...) but for THAT stuff you had to pay extra, and thus, i could SEE a vaild outcry over that. SO i'd say, no to the Coh/Cov dvd perks, and no wedding pack.
As for the rewards themselves... eh, they do nothing for me. Not saying i'm not greatful. And who know, maybe i'll make someone in the future to can or will use the helms... maybe maybe not. And the extra power will be nice for a few levels, but i always end up not using my vet attacks once i have plenty from my primary or secondary.
So either way, it's hardly anything for me to get excited over... not that i'm complaining... cause i'm not really. -
I started April 30th, 2004. I'll soon be a card carrying 4 year vet once the badge is added.
I also remember my first few days of play... and all my noobishness...
Like having no idea we even had a Tram system... and trying to get from Galaxie to Atlas for a mission by running through Kings Row... and dieing ALOT...
Or standing at the wrong end of the tram for 5 mins trying to figure out why i couldn't get on again...
Or hovering accross Preze Park because running was WAY to dangerious... and i could use the time to make a snack...
Finding out Embalumbed Caderver Exploide... the hard way...
Going.Hunting.Killing Skuls.Lots and Lots of skulls.
Discoverying the Speed Boost was AWSOME. Being accually NEEDED and WANTED for once in the game. (my first hero was a Gravity/Kin controller.) This power was the reason i got my first ingame complenint. (Something like, your a GREAT controller buddy.)
Getting HOPLESSLY lost in PP.... crying out in broadcast for someone... ANYONE with TP to save me...
Learning for the first time that FreakShow can Rez... That was awsome... "dude, didn't i just kill you?!?!"
running my first TF (sister) and fighting my first AV (clamor) Why not Dr. V you ask? I completed the mission by clicking the glowies... and then died against him...
My first Eden trial, which, pretty much, was the most awsome expearince i'd EVERY HAD in game. A tank herded the whole bottom room... the WHOLE THING, (no Argo limits and God level defence for invulns at the time..) I FS'ed them... again, no aoe limits... and the blaster, well, he went nova... my computer give me a graphic buffer overload error... nearly crashed my system... then we almost team wiped cause there was 500 angry underlings beating us to death.... good times.... good times...
Ah... 4 years... has it been that long already? Well, i guess i was indeed having fun... cause time flew, thats forsure. -
So... let me see if meh math is correct...
I'm a 4 year vet. On 2 accounts. = 8 more slots on triumph.
We also get 2 slot free just for I12 = 4 more hero slots on triumph..
So i'm getting 6 slots each account, for free... with I12's launch... 12new alts for FREE on Triumph, my home server... It's like... a 3rd free account...
SWEET
I might as well fill my 2 slots i was saving... I'll have plenty of room for my Veat when I12 hits. LOL. -

Dev response to this has been extremely underwhelming.
"Play it, you'll see!"
[/ QUOTE ]
Well... wait and play it. Maybe it'll supprise you. Oh you have all your fancy reasons why it won't, but the fact is, you haven't played them yet, your making a guess, and you already have a biased leaning towards thinking the dev's hate red side. I have no intrested in debating the point, take your money and go if your not having fun. I'd recommend at least TRYING the stuff out first, but it's really up to you. When you go, can i have your stuff?Prolly going to need some extra fundage to cover the new alts that will be made.

TVG seems to have pulled the power list...
Prolly jumped the gun...
***I think i was looking at an older link then, the one of the UK boards link doesn't seem to list the new powers, but the link eairler in the thread does. either way, i'm fairly sure the list is leget. *** -
And here is the ONE thing that i don't really like so far.
Not the new zone or new costumes... pure awsome there..
It's the UNLOCKABLE part. I understand to an extent why it's unlockable, but really... no exesting heros i have would want/need these costumes... only new ones i'd make that may have a roman concept... but new heros would have to unlock them, thus running for 35 levels at least before i get them... meaning i'd need to make up a tempory look... then switch... yeah yeah yeah, not the biggest deal in the world I suppose... but it's the only think i find annoying ATM. and yes, waithing until 20 for capes and 30 for aura's bug me too, but I deal with it cause the game so far is awsome... just like i'll make do here... but i figured i'd still complain about it in the vane hope the devs may consider making it unlockable per account and not per hero.Hey, it never hurts to aks.

When I first saw the post for this award I was to say to least extremely pleased. I thought finally the Dev's decided to give something really cool as a thanks to the long devoted players. After reading this thread I have to say, I'm not looking forward to it anymore.
I mean damn, 10 hp -75% resistance, its a clear slap in the face. With all the AoE heavy enemies end game, whats the use of this pet. Can the pet itself be buffed?? I've also heard rumors it can only be used 3 times.
[/ QUOTE ]
The MORE i think about it... it is, IMO not MENT for the end game.
Think about it... when are you vet temp powers most handy? The low levels! They make them easier, but fade in usefulness as you progress.
Now, the pets will prolly stay alive very easily at the start... and help with the low level growing pains, then fade in usefulness as you level.
That's what i think the devs are striving for, and it'd make since. A bit of help in the low levels, with it growing into mainly flavor by the mid to high end levels.
And its free... who can really complain? -
[ QUOTE ]
Great another great thing my money has gone to develop that only less than 1% of the population get to use.
Thanks for nothing.

Your paying to play the game dude. You money pays for the server upkeep, and payroll of the people making the game.
That's ALL.
What THEY do with there time and resorces is THEIR bussiness, NOT YOURS. You pay to play. That really is all your entilted TOO. If you are unhappy with this arrangement... your only REAL choice is to take you money elseware.
Same goes for me. Same goes for everyone. Vet rewards are like a "thank you" to long term customers. It's a nice gesture IMO. And belive me, it works both ways.
I had to PAY for DvD perks after the fact, while new players just bought the DvD. I had to pay of the GvE stuff, when again, new people got it when the bought the game. I had to buy CoV, when now, you get it for free or vice versa. You buy one, you get the other free. New players now can start playing both sides of the game for practically nothing... and they complain cause i get a few more fluffy iteams then they do? -

Certainly possible of course, but to think that all Dev documentation is error free is naive at best.

Not that over powered and I can't wait to get mine!!
[/ QUOTE ]
Yep you're right these pets only have 10 HPs AND have a -75% Resistance penalty.
But do you realize how easy it is for a level 50 ranged/sniping Blaster to play for literally hours without taking ANY damage? If I can play the game keeping a squishy completely damage free it'll be relatively easy to keep a pet like this providing TEAM BUFFS alive constantly.
Certainly these pets won't be overpowered in every situation or team.
But for people who know how to work it we'll certainly exploit it to its limits.
[/ QUOTE ]
And what benefit do they provide a tank or scrapper? It seems kind of unfair that certain AT's get to make use of the pet while others dont.

People in this thread have already offered creative ideas for using these pets to absorb alpha strikes. Sure that means melee types might not get the buff advantages from these pets often, but they will gain benefits of their own.

Pretty sure it was already confirmed the buffs affected only the owner. So the page the Devs wrote up is either wrong or they made them team buffs just in the last few days since they were discovered. Frankly I think the Dev write-up about that is wrong.

Almost too good to be true if you know what I mean...

... wait. These things give a buff to you AND YOUR TEAM?
So what happens if a team of 8 people get together, all running their buffing pets?
[/ QUOTE ]
The pets get creamed in the first AoE wave i'd say. Least the melee guys pets do. -

Hmm, this won't help much with the Shadow Shard TFs, since on some of those you could knock out some of the missions without the team there. It's tough to get 8 people on at one time for the duration of a few of those.

Please can the minimum team size of the Shard TF's in particular be examined.
An adjustment to 6 should be at least seriously considered.
Manticore should also be tweaked down from 7 to 6.
All in all I did see this coming. Softloading was becoming far too commonly used as a shortcut.
Of course now I am going to have to solo a load of them again just for the heck of it
[/ QUOTE ]
Agreed. Softloading was HIGHLY annoying IMO and I'm glad it won't work anymore. It just... felt like cheating to me.
Now if they'll just fix the Sewer Trial to have an upper level limit so it can't be cheated, i'll be a happy camper!

Or they could just fix soft loading.

?? I think they just DID... which is cool with meh!

A much better way to do it would have been for missions to spawn based on how many people are on the team -- whether logged into the game or not. No idea how possible that is, although I'd wager to say that it wouldn't be impossible for the game to know how many people are on the team, even if some of those people aren't actually online.
Making missions spawn for a static number of team members is just dumb, especially for the longer TFs. Do they really expect that teams won't ever drop below the number required to start?
[/ QUOTE ]
Of course people will drop. It's a fact of life. The only TF's that this will matter MUCH on are the 8 person TF's. And, accually, so long as too many people don't drop, it shouldn't be an issue. I team of 6, if they are played by halfway compent people can handle a map set for 8. And if you loss much more then two, the TF would prolly be doomed anyways. (in the case of the STF's or LRSF. The shard TF's maybe not... it's something the dev's should look into i agree, maybe redoing the teammember requirments for some of hte TFs.)
And as for the comments about farming from others... I don't see this as being alot easier then the current methode of farming... finding fillers is fairly simple from what i gather...(I don't farm)... muilty boxers can farm without the need of many fillers, and frankly it's prolly a ton easier to reset an outdoor mission map then it is logging in and out all the time to respawn a TF mission map. Farming will still be a part of the game, just the way it is currently. I don't see a big issues with TF famring springing up over this.
And who's to say the dev's aren't taking steps to deal with farming in some OTHER way... at least... that the impression i've gotten from some recent posts... that they are looking for a solouation to the problem...
Only time will tell.
*** I also feel the need to point out that, if it is possible to set the spawns to the size of the team, even if they are logged off, it's be a better solotion IMO. I just don't see the current solotion as the game ending nerf some people are making it out to be.*** -
