I'm kinda new to brutes (and to slotting out good builds in general), and am currently researching how to put together a good SS/FA brute (probably leaning towards fire ambush farming build), but I'm not sure exactly what was wrong with his suggestions there, for a 'generalist' build...care to clarify?

...and have been tweaking a build some in MIDS. I think I'm getting close here, but find I am still a bit uncertain what to focus on, so I thought I'd throw this out for some suggestions and feedback.
Note I am going Spirit for recharge, and I'm hoping that I have enough Recovery plus Dark Consumption to keep things up and running.

And if you do need hasten to make that go, I'm sure I can figure out something to swap out pretty easily.
I'm starting to question whether Cardiac or Spirit would be the best way to go here...endurance of course makes the whole thing run, but with Spirit it seems like I could continue more reliably without Hasten and lean more on Dark Consumption and munching some blues if I had to for endurance.
Anyone else have some thoughts on this decision, when having an endurance absorption power, of whether to go Cardiac for the pure endo, or Spirit to help increase how often your endo-draining power goes off? -

Hey there, brute community -
As the title states, I am new to playing Brutes (and generally new to putting together builds at all), and I have a Dark Melee/Invulnerability brute I am trying to figure out a good build for.
I'll be doing some research in the forums here since I didn't see anything all that helpful/recent in the Brute guides above, but figured I'd go ahead and throw a request out for some build ideas, if anyone has one to share!
A couple of thoughts: first, I am assuming that I will need to include Tough and Weave in there, but am questioning if Maneuvers is needed? Also, based on my first look at it, I do want to include Unstoppable, unless someone convinces me otherwise.
Lastly, I am sticking with Soul Mastery for theme reasons, and am guessing that Cardiac is the best Alpha for this toon?

Brand new to making missions...was trying to just make a map populated by custom lvl 52 bosses. However, they keep spawning as lvl 52 lieutenants instead.
Mission settings 52-54, and I've tried making it as just a 'defeat all enemies', and as a 'rescue a captive'.
How to fix this please?
