Nick looked over to the man who called himself the Eagle of Light. Apparently he wasn't taking kindly to Nick's ...unique...personality.

Eagle: Cut em some slack, he just got shot, yeesh

Nick only rolled his eyes at that comment. What would he know? The fool attacked him first, he earned the holes. But Nick was further irked by Eagle's second comment, " Dude, yet again, cut him some slack, he's trying to help you out. "

Nick retorted angrily, "Yea, I'll cut him slack when he starts helping for real, now tell me buddy, what have YOU done to help so far?"

Nick was ready to spew out some more insults, until he heard...
Antagonism:This place does have a medical wing right? With people still here?
Eagle: I dunknow bout there bein a med bay or anything, but I bet there are some people around here somewhere.

Nick shook his head disappointed, " Eagle is partly correct, there is no med bay. At the same time, aside from me, there was no one else working here. Take note of the closed on Sundays sign. So I was the only person working here, and if there was, no one told me about it, and they didn't make a sound, though considering how interesting my day has been, it wouldn't surprise me if I was being stalked at work." Nick looked down at Rami with concern, "Either way, even if there was a med bay here, I'd be afraid to use anything serious with her, I mean she is an animal women, and unless someone here is an expert, we don't know how her body would be affected by medical chemicals, though I'm completely open to suggestions."

Ok, I read it, very impressive IMHO as well, the detail is good, and brings vivid images, way to go!

((You'll have to pardon my posting a bit, since I started making it after Mutants post, but didn't finish until after Lord Raymond. Though I don't want to too heavily edit it since I think it still is coherent, and helps add a little more of Nick's irritable nature into play.))

Antagonism: Heh, I'll take that as a thanks for the help.
Nick remained in his mocking tone, "Yea, you can take it however you want, makes dealing with you all the easier punk."

As he noticed Antagonism opening the door, he quickly walked in, making sure to lift Rami's head a tad to avoid bashing her head into the door... As he walked in though he heard,

Antagonism: I've never actually been here, so I'll take her and you can lead if you want.

Nick stopped short a bit, and went into a polite tone, but hinted at nervousness, "Ah, umm, no no, I've got her. Yea umm, I'm fine, really. Just complaining a bit, y'know, besides, works muscles this way, hah..eh." Yea, build muscles, right..That sounds good..

But Antagonism seemed to be distracted, as he heard him speak again...
Antagonism: Hey! You two feel like coming or....?


Was he even listening? Eh...maybe it's best he didn't anyway. Nick reverted back to his sarcastic tone, "Forget them, if they want to stand in the rain and act as lightning rods for us, by all means let them. It'll save the building some money of buying a real one."

Nick walked deeper into the building, and noticed the center statue of the building, for some reason, it made him smile. Looking down around the floor, he noticed the lack of sitting furniture or benches, and, as gently as possible, bent down and placed her next to the statue. Standing fully upright again, he looked down at her, and then whispered to himself, "My god, I think I lost feeling in my arms..."

After he looked up, he noticed Iron American. Shooting off his mouth again as always, I swear I was better off shooting him. Why couldn't he play lightning rod?

Iron American: So let's hear your names, so I don't have to keep giving you nick names every time I want to say something.

Nick looked up, this time talking seriously, (For Nick's personality anyway) "Well, I'm not an official hero so, you can just call me by my real name, Nick."

Antagonism: Yea I'm coming. You shot me three times if you don't remember.

Nick only shook his head frowning, "Stop being such a wuss, and help me open the door! We don't have time for incompetence here, at this rate we might just die of old age before we can even get to my office!"

Nick apparently fully regained his lovable personality, as he attempted to open the door by sliding his elbow across the knob. In the end he only managed to look funny.

Antagonism: Alright, it may be best if I use my right hand though.

Nick spoke mockingly again in his usual angry tone "Yea yea yea, I can't imagine why. Get over yourself already and just open it, she's heavy man!"

Void Blazer continued following Whip until he noticed Ella abruptly stop.

Kruth'T: Perhaps we should go at your pace Ella. It is not as though the hot tubs will teleport away."

Void Blazer moved back over to Ella and Kruth'T, and trying to join along with Kruth he said, "Yes, and it would be very bad for this medical facility's reputation if someone got hurt IN it!" Void Blazer was getting ready to ask Ella why she was here anyway, but stopped after...

Kruth'T: Void, do they have that kinda technology yet on this planet?

Void Blazer chuckled. Heh, he seems kind of funny for an alien. Still chuckling he said to Kruth'T, "No, we don't believe so, though with the Pocket D and the mediport system, it could be possible." Void Blazer then paused for a moment, "Wait, what do you mean YET? Does your home have that sort of technology? What would even be the purpose of that?"

(( Starting to wonder again where this is going...But I'll try to help keep it moving away from the battle.))

Nick staggered back up, and smiled as he noticed he scored several successful shots. Works every time...
Antagonism: Nice shot.

Upon hearing that, Nick's smile only grew wider. "Give up yet?If you do, I might let you go." He uttered in a mock-cheerful tone. Nick started to bring up his pistols, until he heard the sound of an energy blast.

As looked over, he saw Rami/Mare hit the wall, and then fall to the floor. He saw her mouth moving, but couldn't hear what she said over the sound of the thunder. Wh-...wha? That didn't just happen, it couldn't have... Nick's face turned grave again, as he dropped his pistols, and ran over to Rami/Mare. Is she dead...!? He picked up her arm, and put his hand to her wrist. No, I can feel a pulse...deja vu..what now though...?

Nick laughed nervously, "Eh...heh..heh...she's going to be all right....right?" Nick pulled a key out of his pocket, the key to the Freedom Corps building he was just working in. Sliding the key into the door, he unlocked it.

Walking back over to Rami/Mare, he attempted to pick her up. Not only was she a little heavy for him, the previous kick to the stomach hadn't helped at all either. Struggling to stand upright, he said to Antagonism and Iron American, "Come on! Help me get her inside you morons!" Nick seemed completely uninterested in the fact that a battle had just been going on, mainly because of Nick's rash actions, all of his attention was back to Rami/Mare again. I still don't know why, but I don't want to risk letting you die. Now Nick was shouting, "Come on! What are you standing around for, let's go!"

Void Blazer frowned beneath his mask as he saw Whip go down the hallway, dragging Ella. Oh my, she could get hurt!. Realizing Whip wasn't going to wait for us he looked towards Kruth'T and said while walking at a fast pace to keep up with Whip, "Come on Kruthy, we apparently have little time to waste!"

Void Blazer nodded to Kruth and said, "Yes, do you know your way around this place? Directions would be good for us. On top of that we do love company, it is a big place after all, so it's good to have people to work with, considering we might be here for quite a while." Void Blazer also took note of Kruth saying "I am glad to hear you are recovered." Hmm? What is she recovering from?

((No fair mate, two against one? I feel so unloved!))

Nick was about to fire several more rounds at Antagonism, but was interrupted by...

Iron American: "Attention Longbow Soldier. I have two things to say to you. One, I am the guy who gives witty nicknames here. Two, Put down you guns and calm the hell down, or I will release this energy blast at your risk.

Nick felt more confidence come back to him with the sense of feeling like he had just been done wrong. What is this guy? An idiot? Nick only glanced towards Iron American, and said sarcastically, "Oh yea, SORRY, what was I thinking for trying to stop Mr. Kick-Flip here try and attack me, next time I'll be sure to let him. Look here buddy, no one tells me to disarm myself, especially not when I'm being attacked! Now excuse you, I have some business to attend to."

Turning his head towards Antagonism again, and heard him utter some taunts, but never bothered to actually listen to them. What did attract his attention though, was seeing Antagonism rush forward to perform a leap kick.

But Nick didn't move, he only pulled up his pistols again, aiming towards Antagonism. Oh, so you want to play chicken huh? Ok, but have you ever actually met someone who would go off the edge? If Longbow training taught me anything, it was that sometimes, you need to take the damage if you want to deal it... With Antagonism coming closer in the air, Nick held down the trigger, unloading half of both cartridges of ammo at Antagonism, as he took the hit knocking him up against the Freedom Corps building door.

After Rami/Mare went all crazy by letting loose her spines, Nick started to laugh, and yelled up to the armored man, "Still don't think I have reason to pull the gun?!" Just then though Antagonism jumped behind him, but it seems luckily for Nick, a masked hero flew back around the corner, and managed to take the hit Antagonism was about to give him. After noticing his hood fall off, it seemed it was the civilian that was there moments ago. Heheh, loser!

Nick laughed even harder at the man on the ground, "I said to go for help, though this wasn't what I was expecting,but it will do buddy!". Nick jumped back to get some more distance from Antagonism, and reloaded his pistols. Ok, so he pulled the first shot, justice is on MY side after all!. Aiming again at Antagonism, he fired two rounds from both pistols, each heading straight for Goth-Man's head. Like I said, I'd fill you with holes, and that's what I'm going to do you fool!

(( I'm starting to wonder where exactly we're going with this, I'm actually having a little trouble deciding on how to make Nick react to some of these things at this point. >.> Nonetheless, it's very interesting.))

Rami/Mare: "would a hero point a gun at an innocent defenseless woman? hmm? well?",she continued,arrogantly lifting her head "would a hero even THINK about brutally MURDERING a hapless citizen?" "would a HERO engage a fight with a sweet girl that has never done anything against the rules?"

Nick started to stutter, "W-well, I, er..." As he attempted to form words again, she cut him off with her crying.

Rami/Mare: w-what have i ever done to you..i-i thought you would..help me become a hero..i...i thought you could be a role model for me nick.."

What keeps going on, how does she does this? She was supposed to accept defeat and then I get a badge and things get good....she's not supposed to cry... As the lightning came down, and the rain poured, Nick still did not move a muscle though, as he trapped himself in his mind again.

He snapped out of his internal monologue after he heard...
Antagonism: Look, Umm....I didn't catch your name, but Nick was probably just feeling a bit tense." "Now I'm sure we can talk this out and there won't be any guns or fists involved."

Nick caught Goth-Man looking at him again. Nick was starting to regret what he was saying earlier, and was thinking of saying , "Yea, I guess Antagonism is right, I guess I overreacted." But he never got around to saying it, because Rami/Mare apparently beat him to it.

Hearing her little speech, set Nick on fire again. Yea, he's gonna try and take her and.....no, no no, I think I-...damn it I can't do this anymore! Nick seemed to be thinking of every little possibility, except for the one right in front of him.

The woman was playing off both of them, trying to start a fight, but Nick was just cutting off the one possibility he didn't want to hear.

Nick took out a second pistol from his left leg, unlike most guardians, instead of a pistol and a rifle, he just carried two pistols. Keeping one pistol trained on Rami/Mare and Antagonism, Nick took one pistol and fired off two rounds into the air. This time Nick was yelling hysterically, "Ok, both of you, back away, and get up against the wall, either of you move away from it, and I swear I am not going to hesitate this time!" He was shaking non stop, every part of him, except for his hands anyway, now both pistols trained on Antagonism and Rami/Mare.

Antagonism:"If you didn't work for longbow you would've been kicked in the face for that and the Goth-Man comment."

Nick laughed, cracking his knuckles he said, "Try me buddy, I swear try me, and you'd be filled with holes." Nick turned back, and noticed Rami/Mare was approaching Goth-Man. "

After hearing Rami/Mare's little play for Antagonism, Nick slapped himself on the forehead. My god, had she been planning this from the very beginning? I feel so....used!.

But this gave Nick a boost to his resolve, that this woman could NOT be allowed to leave the premises. Nick looked towards the new hero, who he now dubbed to be Goth-Man, then looked towards Rami/Mare again, with a sound of frustration and annoyance he said, "You must be joking, you don't honestly think he's THAT stupid do you? You're not fooling anyone, your up to something, and your going to tell us what, explain yourself before I DO pull the trigger."At least god I hope Goth-Man isn't that stupid...he obviously is tough, even with the extra neck padding, it did hurt a little when he grabbed me, and I don't want to have to deal with him and Rami at the same time...

Nick started eyeing his pistol again, and tried to sound serious. Nick then looked over to Iron American, and said to him, "Hey, Steel Spaniard, or whatever your name is, don't suppose you have any duct tape in that suit of yours do you? I left my hand cuffs in my other pants, and we need SOMETHING to take to her to the jail. Nick started smiling again. . Nick took note again of the nearby citizen. Damn it, what is this guy still doing here? Doesn't he realize it could be dangerous to stay here?. "Didn't you figure out this is getting heavy buddy? Go get some help or something, I want people to know about my first big arrest." Nick felt his confidence come back to him again, and overflow his ego again as well.... Yea, I have it all figured out now, she was just using me to get into the building, and we saw through her little ruse about having some sort of split personality. Piece of cake, I can't believe I was getting so worked up about this, I'm SO gonna get promoted for this!

Void Blazer had had took note of hearing,
Whip: You need to know where something is? Just ask Whip. I know way around. Hmm, could he perhaps...smelling hot water? No, maybe. Could we ask him? Void Blazer nodded to the strange kid. As he nodded, he took note of what appeared to be a strange, albino girl. She looks so young, hmph, how old could she be? Do they ACTUALLY let children go unnattended without adult supervision?

Void Blazer motioned to the two near him and gestured towards the approaching girl. After noticing her sudden smile after seeing Kruth and Whip, he looked over to Kruth'T and whispered , "Say...do you know her Kruthy, she seems to recognize you." After a few seconds he realized she seemed to be going at a slow pace, she appeared to suffer from some sort of pain. Sounding concerned, Void Blazer looked over to his two friends and asked, "She looks hurt...we are under the assumption that she is coming to see us, maybe we should do her a favor, and come to her perhaps?"

Convinced it was a genius idea, Void Blazer strode over to the girl, and with a wave came over and said as cheerfully as possible, "Hello, we are the Void Blazer, who are you?"

Nick was becoming visibly upset, angrily he said, "Guh, not the guy in the suit, just her! She's not even a registered hero!"
Antagonism: Have they done anything illegal? Can I keep doing this? I'm gonna fall apart if I have to keep actually pointing a gun at her. Nick paused for a moment, "No, she hasn't done anything illegal...yet. Look, buddy, you missed a hell of a lot, and you have no authority to attack me, and even you know it. The pistol is a defensive weapon, so now as long as I don't SHOOT the damn thing, I'm fine. Now, on the other hand, if you come closer in attempt to disarm an official member of law enforcement, I'm given every right to fire upon you, so I'm going to have to ask you to just cooperate with me." Nick smirked in an attempt to lighten up, "Ok? Can we just, 'compromise' with that then, Goth Man, not asking you to ATTACK anyone am I? Just asking you stop anything BAD from happening, OKAY?" Nick slowed his words down and used emphasis, almost mockingly out of his annoyance with yet another interference.

Void Blazer was just standing around behind Kruth, but soon after he felt ..like someone was breathing on him. Void Blazer decided though, if he ignored it, it would go away. Next thing you know though, Kruth was helping another person up. Is that the one that was sniffing us? Void Blazer decided to put on his best smile, and welcome the opportunity another new friend....until he remembered no one could see past his mask. So he decided to just sound happy. "Oh, hello! Apparently you met our good friend Kruth'T, but we just call him Kruthy. We are the Void Blazer, we are pleased to meet you....Whip?" ((It's a slow day, don't know what to say))

Nick jumped upon being grabbed by some strange hero, causing him to clench his hands together, and...pull off a shot at random. And another hero comes out of nowhere, this idiot will ruin everything, I can't believe I wanted to be one! Ok, ok, what do I do...right, fast talking. Nick smirked, and jumped forward, getting him a little room to get away from the almost goth-like hero, now that he could see him. Trying to keep cool he said, "Ok, I don't know who you are, but you are going to stop touching the longbow soldier, or risk charges by freedom corps. This is officially a Freedom Corps operation, and because your a hero, I'm going to let you go if you make sure..that, this....woman...horse...person...thing, doesn't go anywhere."

Nick made a gesture after checking his pistol and gestured to Rami/Mare. But in reality, it wasn't a Freedom Corps operation, more like a 'Oh crap I think this chick is gonna do something crazy I better do something vigilante style' operation. But Nick knew all about fast talking, and this was one of his few talents besides marksmanship. Now, aiming his pistol towards, whoever the new guy was. Chuckling he said, "Pick one."

((I'm afraid...very afraid...))

Nick was practically hypnotized by Rami, though he found himself thrown once he heard the sudden change of her voice saying,
Rami: Rami? Don't be silly love...my name is Mare".

As she moved around though, he found himself, somehow constantly being distracted by her gaze, as she forced him to look directly in her eyes again, as she came in closer, that he became lost in her eyes, but, for some reason they seemed almost different. She seems a little different..but...
"Mare": Or did ya rather have Rami here?"

Wait, what?! Nick finally regained himself again, attempting to be demanding he said, "Wait, what do you mean "rather"?" As she moved towards the Iron American again, he went red again, this time, with a yell he said "OK then, someone's going to tell me WHAT'S GOING ON." Nick pulled out his pistol again, shouting at the Iron American he said, "Back away from her, now!" Nick aimed his pistol towards the woman's head, "Ok, what's going on Rami, er, Mare, er, Rami, gah, whoever the hell you are! I want to know what's going on now, an-and if I don't get some sort of explanation...I-I, I just might have to pull this trigger, because I'm pretty damn sure you're not just bipolar."

Nick was visibly shaking, he obviously had a quick temper, but seemed to almost hesitate, something he never did...back at the firing ranges anyway... I finally got what I wanted, something interesting...but this wasn't how I wanted it to happen...this is supposed to be easy, yet I can't help but hold back damn it, why now, of all times?!

((Don't mind if I make one last post for tonight do ya? I'm finding this to be rather interesting. BTW, slight change my foot, more like a mind warp....))

As he noticed Rami get back up, he started to calm down a bit, but the sudden change in her facial expression, almost stunned him. What happened to the timid girl that I was with moments ago?. Now she looked truly beautiful, and it left Nick almost dumbstruck, he was left staring, but was awoken upon hearing,
Rami: Did ya say somethin' sugar?

Wait, what the hell? Did she just switch minds or something?! Nick was increasingly alarmed, though even HE wasn't sure if it was for Rami, or for himself. Nick put one foot back due to her sudden approach, he still could not seem to bridge the fact she changed oh so suddenly. Nick tried to keep cool, but was hardly doing so, "Uh, er, Rami? I was, y'know, checkin to see if you were okay, you are okay right? Nothing wrong with your head...eheh..heh...eh....is there?" There freaking must be unless your bipolar....

His eyes darted back and forth, looking almost like he was making way for an escape. It was not until his eyes met with Rami's did he stop, it was almost mesmerizing to him, he just couldn't seem to look away, even in attempting to do so, he failed miserably. Time had stopped for Nick, while everything else was moving around him, he was stuck.

Nick turned around after making his offer, to notice the ...woman... next to him mumbling something. Nick chuckled a bit at her timid nature, finding it almost cute. Still chuckling he said, "Eh? What'cha say Rami? You need to speak up!" Till....

Rami: "uhm..uhh..i-i think that uh..i should just..i should just not be a herooOOOOOOOOO-" As she fell, he had to hold back a laugh, but when she stopped moving, a look of fear went across his face Oh my god, did she break her nose? Did she just die?! Nick rushed to her, to check to see if she was still breathing. After a moment he noticed she was still moving, but possibly just too embarrassed to get up. Why do I even care....I don't get it. Moments later though, he heard foot steps.
As he spun around, hoping it was a rogue villain of some sort he whipped out his pistol, only to hear from some punk saying, "Hi everyone, wassup?" Nick sighed, just some guy. Nick half smiled, half frowned, it seemed to both amuse him, and annoy him at the same time, "Hey, where the heck do you people keep coming from? What is it? Come on I don't have all day, as you can see I'm having an important conversation with this nice woma-." once again he realized Rami was still on the floor, trying to pick up again he said, "n...on the floor...See, she' s just restin, y'know? Because...umm...y'know, she's tired, and she couldn't find a bed..isn't that right Rami?"

((I'm getting to it, just need to think it out first.))

((Nah, it's cool for you to join Kid, we could use some new people anyway while the others are off on vacation, and such, just try and make an entrance in front, or near us, in order to make it less of a pain for a meet up.))

Nick smirked. "Chat later about the information? Ahaha, I'm afraid that's Freedom corps clasified buddy, take it up with the "boss". Nick's face turned serious again, "Fine, not TOTALLY your fault I guess, but I accept your apology, but remember, if you want to mess with me, my best pal Rami here will fill you with holes, just keep that in mind."

Nick looked around again, seeing if there was anything noticeable around, "Well, there's no point in waiting around here, my job is done for now, and I'm not allowed to go back in, maybe we should head to my place for now, I have a small apartment pretty close by, and I could go for some soda...unless you happen to want to go on 'patrol'."

Nick's eyes seemed to almost light up upon thinking about going on patrol, but seemed willing to take a break, apparently being part of his daily schedule of work.

Void Blazer looked up to his lizard friend again, to see if he knew what to do.

Void Blazer knew a good idea when he saw one, nodding he said, "Oh yes, your right! Hey, maybe we could ask where our room is as well.....well, not yours and ours, but just, you know, ours."

"Plane of existence? Well yes, we are the Void Blazer, we are of this dimension, just from far away parts of it. We are of a human, and a Nictus." Void Blazer paused a second thinking if that was a good way to describe it. After the pause, he looked up again and said, "Why do you want to know about us anyway?"

(( Ah, kay then)) Void Blazer looked about and said, "Yea, your right, let's go follow them, I'm pretty sure they went down that hallway." As the two went down a hallway, Void Blazer stopped, as he noticed he still saw niether Kia nor Hali. Void Blazer looked around the hallway. Void Blazer stomped his foot angrily, "Erg, we can not see them! I thought you said they were this way, but they are not here! Where are they Kruthy?" Void Blazer seemed to almost be steaming, as his eyes began to dimly glow.
