  1. ((Sorry for the lack of in depth responses right now, I've got a lot of things going on.))

Void Blazer listened with interest to all of Tessa's responses to his explanations.

Tessa:"I do not know either. I activated our beacons, and passed out... I think I dreamed, then I woke here."

However he was rather surprised by the woman's follow up question.

Tessa:" You mean to tell me this is not the place where Tyrant rules?"

Void Blazer laughed, "Ha, course not, what gave you the idea it was?"

However, he was far more alarmed then amused with her next statement, "Non... I do not despise peace nor quiet. But where I am from you do not find it anywhere, pretty much. It almost does not exist. All I know is that I am not from here. My partner Shiro and I were on a mission to gather information about Mother Mayhem, and she did something with our beacons... and I woke up here."

Just before Void Blazer could further question her though, he realized she was crying by the pool. Man, Mother Mayhem must have done some serious stuff to her if she's still so hysterical. I need to calm her down, but, how?

Void Blazer gave a laughed nervously, as he tried to help Tessa out of"Heheh...cheer up it looks like Mother Mayhem did you a favor, now you're in a spa!" Just then a thought came to him, "Hey, I know, if Mother Mayhem adjusted your beacon to send you here, isn't it possible that this Shiro guy was sent here too..?"
  2. ((Gah, sorry for missing out so much! I'll try to just push myself along for a bit))

Soul Striker narrowly jumped out of the cavern in a flash of light. Landing onto the ground, he was covered in dust and dirt. Getting back up, he began to brush off the dirt.

He turned when he heard the demon man speak,

Baalial:"Ouch. I've had that happen to me. Hurts a lot." Soul Striker took a quick look around. What the hell is that supposed to mean? That's when he noticed there was one person missing in the team. Wait....where is that other guy...? Just then he quickly remembered what Baalial said. Then he realized what he meant. With that new revelation Soul Striker only whispered, "Oh god...no way."
  3. Void Blazer found himself a bit confused by some of Tessa's questions.

Tessa:"Oui. I am Tessa, and I am very confused... Where are Tyrant's minions? Why is there quiet and peace outside? Where -am- I? Where is Shiro? What happened to us?...."I... I am sorry. Something happened to my partner and I, and I am very confused. If you cannot help, can you kindly direct me to one who can?"

Void Blazer was taken aback at how upset the women seemed to be looking. She's getting so worked up...wow. Still, she only needs help, I wouldn't want to turn her away.

Void Blazer tried to speak as calmly as possible, hoping it would help relax the woman as well, "Look lady, just relax okay? I'll answer your questions as best I can." Void took a moment to remember all her questions, and then began to speak, "Okay then, first of all, you're at the clinic it's basically a hospital and spa for heroes. Though, I don't know how you would get here without knowing it."

Void Blazer had thought he cleared that up, but found himself having trouble answering some of Tessa's other questions. "Now, about Tyrant's minions. I mean, there's a bunch of them y'know. You'd have to talk to the portal corp technicians to direct you to the right portal to send you to the praetorian dimension. But, if you don't have high enough security clearance, you might not be able to go there. Now, about the uh, whole, "why is it so peaceful?" stuff. Could you perhaps, clarify your question? I mean, come on, this is a hospital, where we can RELAX, why would we want hustle and bustle, what are you, some kind of 'city chick' or something? Do you dislike the quietness of this? Personally, I kind of like the peace and quiet, it can get too loud in the other parts of Paragon City. As for the, "Where is shiro?" thing, I'm going to have to ask, who is Shiro?"
  4. Void Blazer continued to look around, when he heard someone speaking to him in French,

    Tessa:"Bon jour, est-ce que vous pouvez m'aider?"

Void Blazer turned around, knowing only one person who spoke French in the Clinic "Wait, Hali? Is that y-...oh." he said somewhat cheerily, before he realized it was not actually Hali. This caused him to sulk for a seconds. Void Blazer paused for a moment, trying to understand what the woman before him asked.

Dang, I knew I should have paid some more attention in French class... "Uhh..let's see..." Void Blazer mumbled. Trying to speak in his best French,he said, ((Which, for the record, is not very good.)) "Jaim'e appelle....umm...Void Blazier? Je ne pas parle..er..francais. Je parle anglais. Vous parle anglais?"

Void Blazer stumbled over his words, trying to get his point across, only hoping Tessa understood him.
  5. (( Well, crap. Apparently it took me longer then I thought...))
    --- At the council base

Agamar could be heard panting in the back round. Moments later a slow, clap began. Well done, well done indeed Agamar. So, he managed to figure out how to control the psychic link as well? Well done. Said Sarn, in a mocking tone. Agamar retorted angrily, losing his normally calm voice, Silence yourself Sarn After a short pause, Agamar regained his calm tone, He could not POSSIBLY know how to deal with a psychic link. We never taught him that. He got lucky, that's all.

There was a small chuckle from Sarn, If you insist. he said, amused. Agamar spoke again, Don't you have something to work on? Get out. There was the sound of a door sliding open, and then the sound of it sliding back closed. In a mildly surprised tone, Agamar whispered to himself, How did he manage to do that? ...Luck, of course. I can't be quite so gentle next time...."

    -- Back at the Clinic

"Ack!" Void Blazer shouted, as he found himself rolling off the chair he was just in, onto the grass. Jumping back to his feet, he looked around at his surroundings. "Still at the pool...did I doze off?" Void whispered to himself.

There was a slight pause, as he looked for anyone that was familiar to him, "Orchid....? Hali...? Gah! Not again!" Void Blazer stomped his foot angrily. I need to stop falling asleep so much....now what do I do?!
  6. ((Bah, I'm going to posting soon, still trying to think on how to better involve "The voice", won't be much longer, sorry for leavin ya hangin!))
  7. Void Blazer had been confident in himself that she would say yes. In his eyes, there was no way she could say "no", he was completley honest, and voiced his full opinion. However, he was a bit alarmed to see fangs in the corners of her teeth. Weird...I never noticed those before.

Orchid:"Well... aren't we a pair, soldier? Neither of us can trust the other - or ourselves - to knock off the doublespeak long enough to relax enough to help each other, huh? Therein lies our quandry - WE have a problem it seems. Until you and I - and our inner demons - are ready to be laid bare and exorcised, I think it best we part on polite terms. I think it better if I wait to talk with a specialist, no offense."

And yet, what seemed to be impossible to happen, had happened. For a moment Void Blazer began to stutter, "B-Bu...I figured..." until Orchid continued,

Orchid:"You don't really need to be concerned with my problems. If you see it as a challenge, shall we just.. call it a stalemate?"

Now mumbling to himself, Void Blazer said, "I know I don't have to be concerned with your problems...but I am anyway...

Void Blazer knew she hadn't been able to hear him when she continued speaking,

Orchid: "Shall we look for your friend's child?"

Void Blazer couldn't bring himself to say anything, he only moved back to his chair, and begin to put his costume back on, crushed in what he viewed to be, rejection. All the while he heard the voice return, "Congratulations fool, it looks like she doesn't like you." Void Blazer mentally groaned, saying, "I'm not in the mood." Void Blazer winced when the voice shouted back at him, "I don't care what mood you're in, this is your fault for bringing me up!" This set a (metaphorical) fire in his mind, now Void Blazer had started yelling at the voice (mentally) ((Duh)), "What do you mean it's my fault...?! It's your damn fault for trying to control me you [censored]!" Once again, there was silence. Once Void Blazer had finished donning his costume, he looked up to the sky, all the while thinking to himself.Stupid...voice...

Once again, the world around him came back into view, as he heard Orchid once again, saying, "Is the lost child a little girl? Did she say her name was Jaime? What does she look like?" Void Blazer had not recovered from his mood though, and spoke half heartedly, "Eh...? Well, Hali's not a mother, but more of a...baby sitter I guess. Jaime's some sort of ice...sprite..or something, I don't know..."
Void Blazer's eyes, normally showing signs of confidence, were left glazed, as he looked around, showing little effort in the search for Jaime.
  8. Void Blazer listened carefully for Orchid's response, finding himself a bit surprised to hear her ask, "Void, I... your eyes... you look a bit haunted. The Council tried indoctrinating you too... Void Blazer, do you hear voices too? Do they torment you as they torment me? I need to know before I can answer yes or no to your offer." This question caused him to take a half step back, first all he could manage to say was, "Ah..." However his thoughts were hardly quiet. That's it, that's right, the Council, it must be one of them that effects the voice...it can't be inside me though, or I'd be hearing it's commentary throughout the day. It must be some sort of outside link, something li- Void Blazer's thoughts were interrupted, by who else, the very same voice (Agamar) he was thinking of..."It's a psychic link, and no, it's not the same as a symbiote relationship, Orchid here is just a failed project, as they do not co-exist as one, but two seperate minds. Tell her you have no voices in your mind, saying otherwise would only cause more trouble." Void Blazer rhetorted, "You can't force me to stay quiet, if it's a psychic link, then I can effect you as well! I'll not keep any secrets!"

But for some reason, the voice, (Agamar) did not respond, and all had become silent in Void's mind, and Orchid was still waiting for an answer. Void Blazer turned slightly red, what could he have possibly looked like, standing still while having his mental argument? After a few more seconds, Void Blazer began to speak as casual as possible, "Ah, sorry for the wait, I was thinking of how to really explain it. Do I hear a voice? Yes. Is it the same as yours? I don't know, but I would think otherwise. It has only recently revealed itself, so I don't even know how long it's been with me. But like you, I don't completley understand it, so that's all I can tell you...sorry."

Void Blazer then grinned, asking cheerfully, "So, let's find out the meaning of this, together. I ask you again, are you with me, or not?"
  9. Void Blazer was left speechless hearing more about Orchid's "condition". By god, that's...insane, I've heard of the dark energies allowing someone to suck someone of their life, but this sounds like it came straight from sort sort of comic book.... ((Oh, hello X-Men... )) It was when she walked away to the umbrella in the shade, that he heard a familliar voice... "Well boy, you going to go after her or what? Not going to leave it at that, are you?"

Void Blazer recognized it, that same voice he was hearing before, however, he felt no pain, and sounded so much gentler. Silently he thought, "Wha...? What do you care?" When the voice responded, this time far less gentle, and far more painful, "Don't question me! Now go to the woman, it's what you want to do!" The pain caused Void Blazer to clutch his head again, groaning, mumbling, "Gah! Okay, okay...just leave me alone..."

    --Back at the council base.

"Perfect.." whispered the man, maniacally. Once again, the dimly lit room left only his dark outline visible. "What are you trying to do Agamar? I never suspected you to be one for kindness." Said a second voice, and in came another black outline into the room. "Bah, and you're suspection would be right Sarn. While it may make him "happy", it's not out of the 'kindness in my heart', don't you see? If this works, we could reel in both former Council projects, and the glory will be all ours!" Replied the first voice (Agamar). "Ah, so you have some other motives, I know how much you hate to make another person happy." Said the second voice, (Sarn) in a mocking tone. Agamar only grunted, and the room went dark again.

    --Back at the Clinic

Void blazer began to walk over to Orchid, still thinking. Hmm, well, I guess I was probably going to go over to her eventually, without anyone's help, but I can't help feel like I'm being used now that someone else is telling me to do it...

Once Void Blazer had finally reach Orchid, she appeared to be sitting down in her chair. Quietly Void Blazer stood over her, waiting for her to look up, when she finally did, he began to speak, in a calm, pleasant tone. "Well, if your purpose is to find out what that thing inside you is, then it must be my purpose to help you find out." Void Blazer then smirked, quickly adding in, "I am a hero after all, and right now I can't think of anything better to do." After a short pause, he grasped Orchid's gloved hand, holding tightly, and whispered, "So, am I with you on this or not?"
  10. Void Blazer listened as Orchid gave her comments on his story, but turned around when he heard Hali's voice saying,
“Bonjour Void Blazier, ‘ave vous seen the little girl Jaime aboot?”
Void turned around smiling, almost like a weight was lifted off his shoulders after telling his story. Cheerfully he said, "Oh, hey Hali! Huh, Jaime? That's the ice girl...right? No, sorry, I haven't seen her, say, have you met Orchid over he-" when Void Blazer turned to look at Orchid, he noticed she was no longer in the pool, but lying on dead grass. Nervous, he rushed over, offering to call for a medic, but when she declined, only asking for a water bottle, he quickly gave it to her. He looked back at Hali and with a look of fear, and desperation he said, "...Help me, something's wrong with her!"

Looking back at Orchid he heard,

Orchid: "No medics! Void, I... the voices... I don't know what to believe or who to trust..."

Now nervous, yet trying to sound calm he said, "Voices...? Look Orchid, I don't totally know what's going on, but you can trust me, you know that, right? Just stay there then, and I'll check to see if you have a temperature." Void Blazer knelt down, and then began to move his hand over to her forehead...
  11. Void Blazer kept swimming back and forth with Orchid, until she asked, "Are you one of them? A Galaxy, I mean." This caused him to stop swimming at first, and he wasn't sure what to say. I probably shouldn't bother telling her...she doesn't need to know...Then again, someone should probably at least know my story in case something happens...

It seemed that Orchid grew tired of waiting for an answer and asked, "So... I'm sorry, I don't remember your name.... How many laps today? Five? Ten? Twenty-five?"

Void Blazer thought to himself for a quick second I need to tell someone...and I think she'd be someone worth telling. Then in a strong tone he said, "You know what, just forget about the laps for a second okay?" He then took a deep breath and said in a somewhat hushed tone, "I'm sorry if I've been ignoring your questions about me, but I try not to talk about things that could relate to my past. I've never told anyone about my past, but I think it's time someone knows. Can I trust you with a secret?" Void Blazer's face turned very serious, and lost his previously cheerful tone.

Orchid merely nodded in return, speaking in his still hushed tone he said, "Look, for one, my name is Void Blazer, and I go by no others. Am I a Galaxy soldier...? No, but in a sense, I was one. Here's the thing, two years ago, when I was 16, I dropped out of highschool after I met a council recruiter. He told me that they would change the world, and help me rid the world of the corrupt. The man seemed so charismatic, it was impossible for me not to beleive him. So I left home, and started living in the council bunkers. Every day I would run through drills to perfect my body, since I was not old enough to be an official member, I never saw combat, I only continuosly trained to be the perfect soldier."

Void Blazer paused for a minute, as he relived the memories once again. Starting up again he said, "Anyway, by the time I was seventeen one of the Vortex Archons told me I would be their subject for a special project. And at the time, I wanted nothing more than to please my superiors, and so I gladly accepted. As a reward for accepting without being forced, I was given a brand new uniform, the very same one I wear today. Bt anyway...they took me into an empty room, and they placed me in a chair. They then strapped me down, claiming it was for "saftey reasons"... After several minutes, they brought in what appeared to be a ball of...darkness I guess. Apparently that was what I was to be tested with. Today, Galaxy councils members are made with either recently dead, or near dead nictus, however since this was their first attempt at fusing one, they used a lively, healthy nictus. Seeing it didn't scare me though, and even now, I don't totally understand why, but somehow I knew I was safe around it. It spoke to me, telling me of it's past lives with other hosts, and it's meeting with the council. It, no, he told me of how his people lived such short lives, and how meeting new hosts expanded their lives, as well as their hosts. The story fascinated me, but I was shocked to hear what else it would say. He told me of how the Council had made a deal with his people, to help empower their soldiers, in exchange for control over said soldiers. He also told me how he, had no intention of doing that, that he had no desire to control the minds of others, but to help stop them, and that he allied himself with a group known as the "warshades", a group of rogue nictus, who hoped to stop their nictus bretheren. Normally, you would think people to be skeptic about something like this, but something in my gut told me he was right, and so I willingly offered him my body, and together we became the Void Blazer. Fusing with him gave me such new found powers, and using them I was able to escape the council complex. The Council had betrayed my trust, instead of trying to fix the world, they only attempted to control it, and used my naive mind to convince me otherwise. Realizing that, I had sworn to destroy them. And now, a year later, I find myself here, taking a break from my war against the council."

Void Blazer looked towards Orchid to see how she would respond, quickly adding in, "I hope that cleared everything up for ya..."
  12. Soul Striker skidded to a stop when Twilight had created the black hole to halt the androids. When he looked back he saw Jake asking, "The Hell do you expect me to do with this?" Soul Striker couldn't help but laugh, "Ha! Come on Jake, I know you're not the brightest fellow and all but that's a civillian, what do you do with it? PROTECT "it" for me for now will ya? Or is that too much of an alien concept to Arachnos?" Soul Striker continued to laugh, after he finally finished he looked toward Steve and started to chase after him, looking back towards Jake again he shouted, "Come on!"
  13. Void Blazer tried to listen intently as Orchid spoke, but her forehead proved too noticeable for his attention span. It was not until she wiped it off did he start to realize what she was saying.

Orchid:"As for my memory loss, I have been having long buried memories resurrect themselves lately and I find they haunt me like unwelcome ghosts in my mind. I hear their voices chiding me to do... things... I don't want to do. As for why I came here I think I have a faithful friend keeping a candle lit for me in church."

Void Blazer tried to process the information in his mind, but had trouble from his prior distraction. So, basically she's hearing voices...? Hmm...voices, just like me...eerie... But someone has a "candle lit in a church" for her? Basically she has a "guardian angel" or something...? He continued sitting by the chair silently until he heard,

Orchid: "It's warm, I think I need to go for a swim. You're welcome to join me if you'd like. We can talk more in the pool."

Watching her walk off he tried to speak, "B-but I..don't take my costume off in...public!" But she was already too far off to hear. As he saw her swim he found himself walking towards the pool. He took a look at his Galaxy outfit again before muttering quietly to himself, "I so hoped to just come here when no one else was...but I guess, it couldn't hurt right?"

Void Blazer was doing something he hadn't done for years in front of other people. He had always worn his "modified" Galaxy outfit when around anyone, he only took it off when at home, what made him change his mind this time, is anyone's guess.

Slowly, he took off his mask, revealing his somewhat pale skin, brown eyes, and krew cut hair style. He then threw off his boots, and finally started taking off the rest of his costume, showing his mildly tone, thin body, yet his back seemed to be marked with several scars. On top of that, he seemed to have a bathing suit underneath his costume the whole time. No one noticed that...right?

Void Blazer then took his costume, and placed it on the chair he was using, walking back to the pool, he dived in to catch up with Orchid.
  14. Void Blazer continued to sit by the pool as she spoke,

Orchid:"Yeah, I'm just peachy, I'll be ok. This sort of thing happens to me all the time, though usually not so suddenly and not in public." Crying, all the time? That's...depressing...wait a second, is that a..puzzle on her face?

Void Blazer stood back up to comment trying not to look , but she cut him off with a question,

Orchid: "Do you like having wet boots?"

Void Blazer looked down at his feet, noticing that they were starting to soak. He said in a non chalant tone, "Well...not in particular, but it's okay. They're waterproofed anyway." He then started to stand up, and removed his boots away from the water. But I'd probably be better off not leaving them in there for too long, just in case....

Orchid: "My name's Orchid.I'm a patient here... I checked myself in, though I don't remember doing so. I seem to have alot on my mind lately and need a bit help in sorting it all out."

Void Blazer continued to listen to her, but found that he didn't entirely get it, but for fear of offending her with rough questioning, kept his thoughts to himself. She doesn't remember it herself? Is that even possible...? Void Blazer pondered on what to tell the women till she said,

Orchid: "It's ok if you have more important things to do - I know how urgent things can be for heroes these days."

This caused Void Blazer to feel a little nervous, and he started to move his head, as though he was going to say something, however he spoke no words. Ah man...she knows I'm distracted. Come on, your friends are fine, you've seen the power Ella seems to have. This woman however, seems to need a hero most, say something!

Void Blazer kept his eyes on Orchid as she sat down at a chair, looking down he noticed her feet seemed a tad, strange. But even more strange was the trail of dead grass left behind her every step, this shocked Void Blazer for a few seconds. Whoa...imagine what would have happened if we shook hands...Could that have something to do with her not wanting to? Come to think of it, this sounds like one of the Council projects the soldiers talked about back when I was still a Nebula, could she possibly be one of the....? No, couldn't be, she must have just fell into some toxic waste that put her into a coma or somethin, and so she's here for chem therapy or somethin. Either way, she seems lonley, and while I might not be active heroing, I can still help in different ways.

Void Blazer started to walk over to Orchid, and pulled up a chair next to her, and sat down. Trying to sound cheery as possible he said, " As a matter of fact, I'm completley, and totally, free! Absolutley nothing on my list of things to do. I wouldn't be in the Clinic here if I did!" Void Blazer then stretched his legs out and let his back lie against the chair. After a few seconds of silence, Void Blazer started to question what he was trying to accomplish with this woman. Great...what do I say now? I should probably start conversation somehow...oh, I got it! Void Blazer looked back at Orchid again, and said curiously, "So, you don't remember signing up at the Clinic? So you have some memory loss problems right? Any idea how you lost them, or theories on what lead to you coming here?
  15. --At a council base in Striga Isle

The unknown figure was still sitting in his chair, smiling. He remained quiet for a moment, and then began to speak out loud, cheerfully, almost like he had just seen an animal do something silly, "Ahahaha! Good going Void, good going indeed! So someone managed to pull you out of your mental stranglehold? Impressive. No matter, you're not done yet, no time for rest, you have so much to do at the Clinic, you wouldn't want to waste any more time."

The man paused for a few seconds, then in a quiet, dark voice he said, "Wake up..."

-- Void Blazer began to stir in his sleep, when suddenly he heard, "Wake up..." Suddenly his eyes burst open, and they darted back and forth to see his surroundings. Muttering quietly to himself he said, "Uugh...what happened...?" Void Blazer tried to recollect what happened prior to waking up on a gurney, and he realized all the chaos that happened. Oh no, what happened to the others anyway? I need to go find them!

Void Blazer leaped off the gurney, and began to sprint down the hallways, when he heard the escorts who were pushing him along try to shout to him, he quickly cut them off and yelled, "Don't worry, I'm fine, I'll, uh, check in with the medical office later, and I'll put in a good word for you're hospitality!"

--Back at the gurney in the middle of the hallway

Now, the several medical officers/personnel knew they on one hand, that it would not look good in the files if they let him walk away, but they also knew on the other hand, you don't want to make someone who can turn into a lobster, mad.

    -- Back to Void Blazer

Void Blazer was still running down random hallways and turns, all the while recollecting his thoughts Agh..where is everyone? I need to find them... Eventually, he found himself in the middle of the pool area. Void Blazer looked back and forth to see if there was anyone he recognized, but to no avail. However when he looked down, he noticed a crying figure hidden by...magazines? Once again he looked back and forth. Well...I should keep looking for the others...but, this woman looks so...sad! coming up to the edge of the pool, he sat down, putting his boots into the water. Looking up at the woman he said, "Hey, umm...are you okay?" Void Blazer began to move one hand to the floor, a gesture intended to make Orchid take a seat.
  16. Soul Striker struggled a bit to gently place the civilian on his shoulders, and moaned when he saw the androids. I can't fight with someone on my back, on top of tha- Soul Striker's thoughts were interrupted when he felt a shake in the ground, and hear...
    [ QUOTE ]

"They're trying to blow the whole place! We need to get out of here!"

    [/ QUOTE ]

Soul Striker began to feel panic rising in him, but a quick look to the unconscious civilians calmed his mind a bit. Scanning the room, he was unable to find an escape route. I could use my stealth suit, but that wouldn't be able to cover the civilian...Damn it, what do I do? Looking to Steve again he yelled, "Didn't you have an escape plan in case something like this happened!?" Rushing towards Jake he placed down the civilian down and said almost jokingly "Take care of the civy here for a bit kay?"

Turning back towards the androids he muttered to himself sarcastically, "Well, it's a good day to die, the weather's nice enough." Soul Striker assumed his fighting stance, all the whi;e dodging several blasts. However, one blast impacted on the center of his right shoulder piece leaving a small hole that left sparks flying.

Wh-what the hell!? No way could these blasts be that strong! After a second though, a thought came to Soul Striker's mind. Well, maybe this might work out... Soul Striker began to press several buttons on his arm again, diverting more power towards his right shoulder piece, causing vast amounts of electricity to pass through it. Seconds later he was trying to run towards the android closest to him, narrowly avoiding several more shots from it, all the while keeping his right shoulder in front of him, with electric energy now passing through several severed wires into the air, and occasionally onto his shoulders. Even as he ran, thoughts of dying passed through his mind. It's an android, so a concentrated shock should short circuit it...right?
  17. Soul Striker found him feeling a great sense of accomplishment as he saw Apex being restrained by the powerful robot.

However, his heart sank as he saw an explosion engulf another one. Despite that though, when he noticed the three prisoners, his original goal was brought back to mind. There she is! Hero time! Rushing over to the folks ensnared in the darkness, he pressed several buttons on his arm, this created an aura that gave him a fair protection from the energies, and he began to quickly remove the tendrils one by one unhindered. Piece of cake, and to think I was nervous about something like this...still, it's a bit TOO easy isn't it? Ehh, it's probably nothing. Soul Striker only continued to keep helping the prisoners, right then, it was the only task, and he could do it with ease.
  18. Soul Striker looked up from the battle after kicking down another Mayhem soldier as he saw Apex run down the hallway, and running as fast as he could, he chased down the Arch-Villain.

As he started to close in, he attempted to trip him as he jumped and slid towards him in a collision course, causing sparks to fly across as his armor went across the floor. It's time to end this!

His mother died giving birth to him, and his father was a useless superadine addict, and was orphaned. He ended up reading a lot, and enjoyed socializing with the other orphans. His lack of parents ended up making him rather defiant, and had little respect for his elders. When he started elementary school it was discovered that, despite his obnoxious nature, he was extremely intelligent, and the praise from his teachers gave him an inflated ego, and he began to refer to himself as a prodigy.

Finally in high school, he managed to push away nearly all contact he had with other people, unless they wanted to pay him to do their homework, that he was offered a job with Crey Industries, soon after he dropped out of high school to work on making armors supposedly being designed to help "protect" people. However, when he discovered the real purpose of the power suits being made by Crey, he trashed his office in Crey and ran away with a suit, now being pursued by Crey, he fights back, determined to bring them down for betraying his trust.
  20. Void Blazer was still exhausted from the SAP grenades, and he could only feel a minor boost of energy return to him, and even then, his vision was beginning to blur. When he saw Ella being pelted with rifle blasts, he took a slow, heavy step forwards, and then a second, he didn't have the energy to go any further. When he saw the doctors come towards her, he relaxed his muscles a bit.

Nonetheless, he took one more step forward, saying in a weak tone, "Just...take...good...care...of...my...friends...u rgh" and with a groan he fell backwards causing a loud "thump". "[i]Well, I'm still alive..." he thought to himself as he looked towards the ceiling, for a few seconds he looked up to it, and everything went black for him, ((Unconscious, not dead)) and in a burst of darkness, he reverted back to his human form.
  21. "Yep, here we go again, kick [censored], rinse, repeat." Muttered Soul Striker with a smile. As a Mayhem elite rushed towards him, he entered his fighting stance. As he swung his mace though, Soul Striker, ducked, and tripped the man, and gave him a quick kick to the side of the head, rendering him unconscious. Standing straight again he whispered yet again to himself, "Rinse, repeat. Ok, who's next?"
  22. Kaolin

    Rp server

Virtue, it's the unofficial RP server.
  23. Soul Striker only smiled behind his mask in hearing the Bonehead say, "Friend", and continued to follow Steve after the mob was taken out. When they approached the room filled with more soldiers.

    Steve:"Any ideas?"

The question left Soul Striker thinking for a minute, Well, let's see, my suit can turn invisible for a bit, but once the door is open, I think I'd be noticed by then...hmm But it was when Jake chimed in that an idea came to Soul Striker.

Jake:"I could send these guys in as a distraction. They'll give us an element of surprise, along with taking down a few of them on their own, I'm willing to bet."

"We don't even need to bet." Soul Striker said cheerfully. Then in a serious tone he said, "Look, this suit of mine was made with the idea of being an improvement to the Crey power suits, but of course, since I quit, this happens to be the only version made, one of the nifty features happens to be, stealth. Now, if Jake's little tin cans can play distraction long enough, I'm pretty sure I could reach the door and open it, no problems, then with that open, Cortianna and Skull Face over there, judging by what I've seen of them, they could probably incapacitate the guards over there, temporarily at least, and by the time they've awakened, we've passed by, and they think it was all a bad dream."

After his short speech, Soul Striker reverted back to his confident/laid back nature and started to nudge Jake and then Steve saying, "Pretty clever eh? Eh?"
  24. Soul Striker jumped back when he saw the new form, and heard,

    Jake: Who are you, exactly?

Soul Striker shouted towards Jake, "Shut up, he's in front of me, so I should ask him!" Looking towards the strange figure he said, "Okay, so, who are you supposed to be, Skull Head or somethin buddy? The skulls are long gone, go home." Soul Striker stood up from his previously crouched stance. Soul Striker sounded confident, if anything, as he said, "Look, for all it goes, it doesn't REALLY matter to me who you are, only if you're friend or foe. If your a friend, help me punch these guys out, if not, get out of my way, I have some MoM's to beat down."

Master's of Mayhem...MoM's, hmm, you think I would have noticed that earlier...really, that is an unfortunate villain title isn't it? Heh...mom...
  25. Soul Striker followed Stevie excitedly into the cave. When the soldiers came in, Soul Striker only grinned, cracking his knuckles, he made a "come here" gesture, while tapping a few buttons on his left arm, which caused a glowing aura to emit from his suit. When the soldiers didn't come, he decided to take the aggressive path, stepping back a few steps, he started to run, and leapt towards the back of the mob, and attempted a sweeping kick on the nearest soldier, sarcastically he said, "Yea, I'll surrender...but first, let's spar a bit!"
