I've heard there were unlockable shields for Shield Defense sets. I was wondering if anybody has seen this and if so, can you post a picture or link to a picture? I've also seen a couple different suggestions on how to unlock this shield. Any definitive answers on how I would go about unlocking it? Sorry but my searchfu is not that great this morning...

Hey all, I was seriously considering getting this laptop and wondering if my graphics card and processor would be able to handle the CoH/CoV load. I made sure that the laptop I chose did NOT have a graphics card that shares its memory.

AMD Turion X2 Dual-Core Mobile Processor, 17" screen, 4GB system memory, 500GB Hard Drive, and ATI Radeon HD 3650 with 512 dedicated graphics memory.
Any ideas on if this can support CoH/CoV or any experience with that specific laptop? Thanks in advance. -
I have an assortment of heroes and villains to bring to the Sat morning group. Pick what you'd like me to bring from the following:

Dark/Fire Brute
Fire/Dark Corruptor
Ice/Rad Corruptor
All of which are currently day job badge hunting but will be at 21 days by Friday. Just let me know. -
I've been trying since last night at around 12 AM CST to log into Freedom on my account, and I keep getting the error message "Lost Connection to DBserver." I've tried resetting my router, restarted my computer, and I've been able to log into every other server except Freedom. Any ideas as to what could be wrong?

Because it has been done. Plus it isn't even worth it for stage 3 anymore unless you just want to save a power slot by not getting hasten. Pre i15 stage 3 + hasten would take you to the damage cap for Dom's easily, but now since the only thing Dom increases now is Mag and duration not really worth it to get more than 80 - 100.
You don't want 70% it is too close to the edge, you have to keep Dom on auto and hit hasten as soon as it recharges, also if you get hit with one slow it is over, good starting point though. 80 - 100 give you a pretty comfortable positions don't have to hit hasten as soon as it comes up, but I wouldn't wait too long either.
And even if I was going to make a DBZ knockoff, I'd be much more inclined to make it with a scrapper or blaster than a dominator. Goku never had a slew or sleeps, stuns, or holds to use at his disposal.

In COV there are 3 levels of Permadom.
Permadom a.k.a. Permadom 1: 70% recharge from IO bonuses plus 6 slotted hasten. Your build will likely be a bit clunky and you risk frequent dom/hasten power crashes.
Ascended Permadom a.k.a. Permadom 2: 90% recharge from IO Sets plus 6 slotted hasten = Permadom+Permahasten. A better build, fewer power crashes.
