  1. A couple of thoughts.

I was thinking that other servers have rallied to show support for the game, and I think that Liberty should also do something similar. I'm proposing something simple: A rally in Atlas Park, under the statue of Atlas. Let's show people that we can represent both our server and our game!

WHEN: Sunday, September 9th, 2012 at 12:00 PM EST
WHAT: Liberty Rally to show our support of the game
WHERE: Atlas Park, Under the Atlas Statue.

Let's show our support for our server and our game.

    Just a thought

    - Jack
  2. It was okay. It wasn't 'All-star Superman' or 'Batman Year One', but it wasn't 'Emerald Knights' either.
  3. I saw them all....ugh...it's not been 30 years has it?

Don't remember if I saw this, but Time Bandits was released in the US that summer too.
  4. Okay, two episodes in, and the theories have begun:

    My personal crackpot theories are:

    - The Authority is responsible for freeing Russell. Why? They need a boogeyman to show the humans that they can provide protection, thus having them flock to the vampire agenda.

    - The demon that Jesus had in him has gotten loose, and is partially responsible for the erratic behaviors of several individuals, including Sam, Luna, Terry, and Hoyt. In one of the promos, they showed Lafayette possessed, and in another, was a figure in Hoyt's tee-shirt. I think that the demon is drifting from one to another.

    - I think that it's safe to say that Luna's ex-mother-in-law has dire plans for her daughter.

    - Got the weirdest feeling that whoever brought the good reverend back did so for a very specific reason.

    - The faeries will return maybe by episode 4, with Sookie's Grand-uncle Claude appearing shortly.

    Just my thoughts.
  5. Supergroup Name:The New Midnight Patrol
    "Mostly not dead"

Leader:Red Cresent, Jack O' Lantern, Deadgirl, Eyere, and a bunch of others who were stupid enough to volunteer.
Contact:Jack O' Lantern, either In-Game, via Global, or via this forum.
    Group Description:
Formed in 2005 in memory of the Original Midnight Patrol, the New Midnight Patrol...well...Patrols Paragon City against threats both epic and not so epic. We try to keep our membership low and we're very casual.

    - We have a dedicated SG night to run events (You may have seen us staring blankly into space under Atlas at times).
    - We're a vent group
    - While we're not usually recruiting, I hate to turn anyone down. If you're interested, I'd say contact me and we'll run a few missions to make sure you're okay with us and we're okay with you.
    - Fully functional base with full teleporters, med-bay, and a slurpee machine. Also, I stole an Arachnos flyer, which is great to hang coats on but not so great to dust. We even have an epic meeting table that we barely use (I think we stand on it more than we actually sit at it).

(We're a group of old friends who play. We've got a forum and stuff! Fairly laid back group, with a variety of experience. If you're interested, you can find me at @jack O lantern).

    Discuss, debate.

So, this was a discussion that I had to comment on, officially making this my 27th post since 2004. I will say this: We had a member of our SG who continually would start a TF, and immediately aggro everything, then bail because he was 'tired'. It became enough a problem that I wrote an AE mission with it as a point. For the record, he didn't get it.

So, here we go: The worst excuses I've seen since 2004:

The Silliest:'Ooooh, there is a zombie event? I'm afraid of zombies... (Half-way through the event)/"I don't want to do the TF, I just want the rewards and badges, I'm quitting to join a TF close to the end"

The most excusable: "My wife just went into labor, gotta go"

The most inexcusable: After prodding our SG to spend our SG night doing a particularly vicious Moonfire, 'Oh, I have the badge...nevermind, I'm out'

    Yeah, there were some winners......
  7. I'm sure it's been said, but how about modded hair for hats?

I like the pirate hats, but not the scraggly hair, or longer hair for cowboy hats.
