No, not really. It's just my usual response to people posting "I don't get why people level so fast, it's not like there's anything to do post 50......" or my favorite..."You miss out on the content when you level too fast..." Even though I've done that SAME content for 4 years now. And it doesn't interest me anymore, since I play this game for rewards and enjoyment of smashing things that all my optimized toons are built for.

And since I enjoy smashing things that my optimized toons are built for, isn't that, in essence to what Castle said, not farming? :O

With current developments, we will be indeed be working with the PvPEC, to hopefully make this all official.

The sign ups and the "regulations" is almost finished. Hopefully within today, we'll get it up and running so everyone has a clear idea.

What leagues have done in the past is have a cap on how many people can be added to a live roster (which was normally 10 people with each of their accounts for a pentad ladder). After a set amount of time, that person was eligible to play for the team (about a week generally). That way teams can't bring in ringers or constantly have players moving between teams. You could sub people in and out after each match 'cause, really, people get upset, people have to leave, etc. That way more people on rosters get a chance to play.

Personally, the idea of a pool of free agents is a good idea but I doubt too many of them will get to play with any sort of regularity, which usually ends up dropping interest.

After weekly matches it'd also be fun to do scrimmages for practive or even have kickball if there's enough interest.

That would be plausible and actually be a good idea if we had more people. Once we have more people involved and get a rough estimate on which ones will be regulars, I definitely think having a "roster" is an awesome idea.

I know right now, it seems a bit restricted, but we are, after all, in Pinnacle. lol But, yes, I very much like that idea Alloric.

I like that. Not only are fun, bragging rights, and PvP recipes will be incentives, but also the purse of the final.


Also, I'd like to add an ALL STAR type of match, where after the "championship match" between the top 2 teams, all teams will participate in an all out brawl. Anything and everything goes.

Subs are going to depend though, on the amount of people joining the League.

Basically, wanting to organize this like an actual "sports" team IRL. Where the roster is pretty fixed, however....

We might actually instate a "SUB POOL" where people that are on reserves, can sub for ANY team. So they are not registered on a team, but more of a "merc" type thing. IE: Team 4 has only 2 of their 3 man team show up cos the 3rd person had something come up, then a sub could be put in.

However, all will be put together soon. Like I said, these are all subject to change, especially with the increasing interest.

With dual accounts, the best thing for now (again subject to change) is to just register with one global, and if you have toons on your other account you want to use, then register both under one global. But, that's the set up for now. It is subject to change since what we're waiting for is a pretty decent number of players and teams alike, but for now, we gotta work with what limited number of people we have.

In this league, there are no such things as "SG Mates." There are only "teamates." This is to encourage different teams and at the same time, it gives room for "more" people to form teams. Pinnacle isn't really big on population like Freedom is.

So we've gotta work with what we've got. A team of 3, for now, is the reasonable medium.

Also, I understand there are times people can't make the scheduled match, so with that happening, we were thinking of a re-sched, meaning within the missed match, the teams involved will make a decision whether to reschedule within the next week before the Sunday of the new matches, or just have a good forfeit. Now if the resched is agreed upon, and they still don't show prior to the Sunday of new matches, then it will be a forfeit on all teams, since agreement on all teams have been set.

Of course, these are all just tentative issues that still need a bit more tweaking.

On the note of having subs, the reason for now (subject to change btw), that I'm thinking subs won't be allowed is the amount of limited players we have. If we get a rough estimate as to how many teams and such, then perhaps we can go from there.

The goal, rather than fun and including new faces, is to create a "Football" type schematic. This won't run ALL the time, but 15-17 weeks of your year. Etc.

This would in turn, give players a whole year to team up, have more recruits, and hopefully invite more players to this league.

We want this PvP League to be the creme de la creme of PvP Leagues. If that happens, then more people will hopefully join, THEN, we can probably put in the substitutions and increase the roster size and then....AND THEN..........

EPIC BATTLES!! AND THEN...............WE WILL TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!!!!!!!


P.S: This is all tentative, but all your input are all welcome. Ninja and I have a base rule template we're working on now, and we'll post it up some time today.

Just PvP fun for overall. The main goal is to get people that don't usually PvP, to PvP in teams, so that those teams would also learn chemistry and tactics and just really..overall fun.

I know everyone keeps saying LoLPvP and everyone is afraid of the "zomg i pwnz u" stuff, but in essence, PvPing is pretty fun in the sense that you're not fighting an A.I, but another person per say.

Just the overall appreciation and destroying the stigma that it has of being "lolPvP" and "zomg, *** PWNZ Joo."

Plus, having an organized season of PvP just for kicks.

Basically, it'll be set up as a season. It's going to be teams, and depending on the number of people wanting in on it, it'll be a minimum of 3 man teams. Wins, Losses, might even get gold titles, etc. This is outside of the PvPEC, this is strictly being put together by me and NinjaVampyre.

We're working out the details, so that everything will be cohesive. The question now, I suppose, is how many of you would be interested?
