She's scared enough of Sully as it is!

When I saw the pic, I thought you had taken a pic of my dog
We got her through Beagle Paws (http://www.beaglepaws.com/) They're a rescue foundation based out of Newfoundland that helps place beagles all over Canada.

Lol... I thought I was the only one who knew that movie!

One of my personal favs was "The Pirate Movie". (A spoof of the Pirates of Penznance)

    Star Wars (of course)

    Ice Pirates.

    Blade Runner

I liked a lot of cheezy movies as a kid. This explains much....

  5. for me:

"These aren't the droids you're looking for."

and it's always fun to substitute "droids" with whatever fits the situation.

ie... These are not the Oreo's you're looking for. Move along

  8. RL has been getting in the way of my game playing lately.

We just adopted a 5 year old beagle from a rescue foundation so she's taking a bit of my time right now.

My parents PC had the CPU fan die on a Dell PC they had and the motherboard would not accept anything but an OEM fan as a replacement.

The part was discontinued so we had to replace the whole PC. As it turned out about a month later i found the same model PC in a computer shop being used for parts so I bought the fan and got the PC working again.

(and then did exactly what Stalemate did except I was streaming to a PS3 )

Does your Best Buy have pre-made computers from anyone else other than the major manufacturers? I think the ones up here in Canada do, but when I'm there I don't often go into the computer section becasue my local seller always beats the pants off their pricing and they won't match it.

Don't get me wrong, I do think Dell and HP make some awesome computers but the issues with replacing parts is whats always kept me away from them.
  10. going back to the "rolling your own" part of the discussion, would buying a premade PC from wherever you would buy your parts, if you were to build your own from, be an option?

Thats what I did when i bought my new PC.

Some places like that even let you customize what you want for parts and will build it for you.

The only problem I've ever had with premade systems from the likes of Dell or Hp is that if something goes wrong with it after the warranty expires, it's not always easy to repair.

There is something so satisfying about killing little lego men.
I was playing lego Batman last night after my router died and couldn't get on to CoH.

    That was an enforced break

but I agree it is highly satisfying and there's not a lot of commitment to those game.

Another one I like and is a great break is PAIN for the PS3. What can be more relaxing than flinging a guy from a huge slingshot trying to break as many things as possible before he stops moving.

(and what makes it more fun is i bought extra characters for it. George Takei and the Hoff )
  13. PF, I think everyone here has good ideas. What seems to be said mostly is go and do something ELSE you enjoy for a bit.

As the saying goes Man (or in your case, woman) can't live on bread alone.

    It works for me.
  14. I'm interested too.

When you say low, what range(s) are you thinking of running?

Take care B. Hope to see you soon.

  19. Ok Put this one in my calender. Hopefully I can make it
  20. I'll try and make it.
