  1. Sleep? It was for the weak... there wasn't enough time for Inago to rest now. Molok was dead... another friend gone. Reqium's soldiers would suffer. Inny stepped out through the hazard gate as gunfire and explosions echoed through the sunken valleys. No fear... His exhaustion was still there but he forced it to the back of his mind and pushed on, making sure his metal gauntlets were fixed in place and wouldn't slip off mid battle. He would now hunt and kill all the enemies he could find.

    -----------------------------------------------------------

Inago barreled straight into a large squad. They didn't have time to shoot him as he darted around, hitting each of them in a seemingly random sequence. His usual grace had now vanished. He pummeled with his legs instead of carefully timing and placing his blows. This was his downfall as a group of Vampyri joined the fray. They saw error in his movement and eventually managed to overpower the weakened hero. They pushed him to the ground, his life was now forfeit...

Inago accepted his fate. He closed his eyes and prepared for it all to end. But even this cruel death at the hands of genetically altered freaks was stolen from him. Sounds of scuffle and then the screeching pain of men being pulled and thrown in all directions... then silence... moments passed and then the sound of small footsteps approaching, a giggle and then a familiar voice "Little brother! Why are you sleeping on a battlefield? They are for fighting!" Inago opened his eyes slowly to see the outline of a face. Frolic had come to his rescue.
  2. ((It's not too late. The fiction and stuff is in the War on Reqium Thread))
  3. The call came for the strike, Jester's voice ringing inside Inago's head. He was exhausted from days of fighting and little sleep. After this battle he would get that well deserved rest. The soldier's infront of him were unsuspecting as they held their civilian hostages infront of themselves, like shields of flesh and bone. They were prepared for a strike from the sides of the town, not from within the boundaries they had set out.

Inny pushed off from the wall he leaned against, propelling himself through the air and out of the shadows that had kept him hidden. His knee collided with the head of the trooper closest to him who died almost instantaniously. The innocent he was holding onto was stunned and stood there, not moving an inch. The dead mans partner pushed his captive over and trained his minigun on Inago, who ducked just as it fired. The hot lead blasted holes in the wall that he had occupied seconds before. The frozen civilian was caught in the hail of bullets and was shredded.

Inago grimaced and angrily swept the soldiers legs out from under him before bringing his foot down hard on his chest, finishing him off. The teenager then focused on a nearby squad who were quickly engulfed by a dark cloud. Beyond that another group had overpowered one of the smaller Dark Clowns and managed to end their life. The body swiftly being teleported away by the overworked healing team. An angry Magenta steamrolled into them, exacting her revenge.

A rocket flew overhead, impacting on a chimney and sending rubble flying in all directions. The battle had only just begun and the town was already being taken apart. The fight ahead would be a messy one...
  4. Monday Night

An army of 60 men and women in purple and yellow battlepaint, along with what only can be described as 10 shadowy demons, marched on Salamanca, lead by Jest er and his lieutenants. They suprised the Reqium forces by striking from the shadows, using Guerilla tactics to try and confuse the superior number of enemies.

Reqium's forces returned fire with rockets, flamethrowers and mini-gun fire. The used civilians as human shields. Many lives were lost. The town was ripped apart, buildings collapsing and civilians crushed under bricks and mortar. The fight lasted through the night and by morning the battlefield was in ruins. Unrecognisable bodies in the streets.

The Cirque pulled out, leaving several large pockets of enemy resistance but dealing a massive blow to the Council and their operations. The remaining troops regrouped and prepared themselves for another onslaught.
  5. Sunday

After having no sleep since friday, Inago almost collapsed in the hospital bed hew as being treated in for his wounds. He'd led the counter attack in Perez, helped rescue the Doc's Lab, and sent forces to fight in Croatoa.

He joined the fight in Croatoa this evening and through the night after stopping on Peregrine to wish people good luck. After tonight he'll need some sleep or collapse from exhaustion.
  6. Perez Park was ablaze, the fire sparked off by the flamethrowers of Reqium's forces. They had formed a defensive perimeter around the missiles, protecting them with all manor of weaponry. The flames would keep most out and the vast array of quantum weapons and miniguns would shred anyone else to pieces. These men had been well trained and were ready for anything. A quiet confidence filled each and every one of the soldiers.

A breeze swept singed leaves and embers into the air, carrying them across the darkening sky. Shadows seemed to move and creep towards the men. They gathered in dark pools around their feet unnoticed. All eyes were focused ahead, waiting... A sudden yell and a piercing scream shattered any certainty of victory. Troopers were engulfed by clouds of gloom, fighting for their lives. Infront of them the flames parted to show the approach of a twisted horde of hellish clowns. The Circus was in town...

There'd be cherubs singing if they weren't blasted cherubs themselves. Why can't those teens have a normal relationship like... Hmm. Better idea. Why not Inny give a few pointers to Coile about how to behave?

    This is my character Pyranha

I have been curious about the tutorial of how to use channels in coloring (posted on this forum some weeks ago), and this is my first try at it. It was lot of fun, though doing very thorough coloring would take ages, at least until I get proper hang of it.

Starting up a new venue is big job, and it needs many good first impressions. If someone goes there and five times in a row there is no one there, they'll stop going. Hence I think a set time would be very good. Possibly have couple of set nights/times at first and see how it goes, or if it's everynight, it would be good idea to make sure there is someone there every night.

Which means you boys are gonna be busy. I might pop round sometime but at the moment i've got 5 fairly active heroes to keep me busy. Then there's the urge to pop down to the pub.
  18. Sorry Doc. Cirque meeting so I can't make it.
  19. Mucho thanks to Blackdove for help with spelling, etc.
  20. After what seemed like miles, Inago stopped running. He put the girl down gently and removed his mask. The killer within him had left and he was Kyo once again. Something was wrong... blood... so much blood. The girl wasn't breathing, her skin like ice. One of the bullets had hit her and taken her life almost instantly. He hadn't noticed. His adreneline had kept him going and she died in his arms. He felt disgusted with himself and guilty that this had happened. He had meant to save her... If he had left her behind she would have still been alive. No! It wasn't his fault! They killed her! Those filthy scum! "Kuso o taberu na!"

A piece of green material had come loose from the sleeve of the girls dress. Inago picked it up and folded it into a strip before wrapping it around his head as a bandana, a symbol of his new task. He would seek vengeance for the girl. They had to die too. The rivers would run red with their blood.
  21. The moon glistened in the night sky. It's glow illuminated the tops of the trees. Kyo moved between the branches effortlessly, dressed in his loose, black clothing. A mask covering the bottom half of his face. He was no longer a boy, but a killing machine. Inago...The human grasshopper. Trained warrior and assassin, with power beyond any normal human being.

The destination lay ahead. A small walled settlement with guards posted at the gate. Inago creeped around through the foliage until he reached the back wall, out of sight of the sentries. He closed his eyes and listened with his superior senses. Every leaf falling from a tree, every insect's footstep could be detected. He took a moment to focus on his target. A short, fat and unhealthy man, snoring loudly like an ox. He was just on the other side of this wall, in the largest structure. So close... The man in question was a loan shark. A greedy man who took pleasure in torturing and killing anyone who couldn't pay him back. This man deserved to die.

Inago's eyes sprung open and he sprinted towards the wall, leaping over it with a wondrous grace. Almost ghost like in movement. He seemed to float for a moment or two before lightly touching down the building roof on the opposite side of the wall. So quiet that a pin dropping on a stone floor would drown out the noise.

Although fairly modern, the building had old fashined features like a build in fire place. The chimney was nearby and the lack of smoke showed that nothing was burning. Inago approached the side of it and peered in. The width wouldn't support the size of a full grown man, but he was still a child. A small one at that. Inago hopped onto the top and gripped onto the sides with his hands, lowering himself down into the darkness.

This was too easy. Only one security camera in the main room. Avoided and deactivated within a minute. The only guards were patrolling outside and stationed at the gateway. Nothing was standing in his way now. He made his way down a short corridoor and cautiously opened the door on the right. From the sounds, this was definatly the right one. Inago's sensitive nose picked up the sent of alcohol... Sake. This man was drunk. He wouldn't be waking up anytime soon. He wouldn't ever be waking up.

Inago slid a small blade out from underneath his belt, holding it delicately in his right hand as if it were a flower and not an instrument of death. He approached the side of the bed where the man slept, lifting his arm in preparation for the strike. He whispered quietly with a cold voice "Zama miro." and brought the dagger down with one fluid motion, slashing the mans throat and injecting venom into his bloodstream. One desperate gasp for air and the body fell silent. The deed was done.

After confirming the kill, Inago left the room. He shimmyed back up the chimney and onto the roof. He had to get out without being detected. Easily done. He'd go back the way he came, over the wall and through the forest.

A piercing scream destroyed his train of thought. His eyes scanned the area for the source and he quickly found what he was looking for. A young girl, possibly nine or ten was being dragged along by two guards. From the tattered green dress and shackles it was obvious she was a slave, taken as payment from someone without money. One of the guards turned and struck the girl with his fist, forcing her to the ground where she curled up into a ball. Her cries of fear forced Inago to pay attention. He couldn't ignore this.

The guards pulled the girl to her feet and turned towards the closest building. The slimmest of the two almost leapt out of his skin as the entrance was blocked by a short figure, shrouded by black cloth. Inago spoke harshly, his anger apparant. "Mise mono ja nai yo!" The second guard released his grip of the girl and replied. "Are!" The girl froze and stared with wide eyes. Both guards were approaching Inago, guns drawn. He stood there, hands by his side, unthreatened. "Name'n ja ne."

The men opened fire, pistols blazing as bullets cut through the air. Inago lept to the side, dodging before using his powerful legs to push himself in their direction. He hit the first man before he could pull the trigger a second time, bones cracking and crunching under the force of a kick to the chest. Before his partner could react his neck was snapped by a follow through attack by Inago's left foot. They collapsed, dead.

The young girl was standing perfectly still, paralised by shock. Inago took her hands gently and spoke in a soft and calm way."Do kashiteru." She simply nodded, unable to say a word. He gently picked her up in both his arms and started towards the closest wall. More guards had poured out into the yard, guns pointed at the two children. They fire multiple vollies as Inago jumped right over the perimeter and disappeared into the undergrowth.
