BTW, can you please tell me what programmes you downloaded? Because the majority of them aren't helpful and are usually some kind of malware. So it might be a good idea to use sometthing like Malware bytes or spybot: search and destroy to scan your computer.

Yeah it is very unlikely to be a problem with your specific account, and more about how your computer is running the software.

If you gave your username and password to someone they could log in from their own account, but equally I could then call everyone names and sell all your stuff (Not that I would, and most people on the forum probably wouldn't either) so it isn't a good idea to give that kind of information out.

And with all due respect to PD, you should never give anyone your account information. I also don't think PD would want that responsibility, but I will not speak for others.

If not, you can contact CoH support via the website. Free accounts do not get in-game support, but they do get support via the support site IIRC.

It could help but because computers are all kind of different speeds and are affected by so many different kinds of software that can be installed it is impossible to say.

You could post the hardware of your PC and we could see if it should be able to play it.

But I would still get the internet tested out. And make sure you are on a connection that doesn't restrict the bandwidth you use, some cheaper broadband connections only let you have a certain upload/download in a certain time, or restrict your speed once you reach a certain limit, which can play havok with trying to run an MMO.

I think a few of the recent updates have possibly included graphical additions that seem to be causing more lag than before for a lot of people. I know I recently had to lower my gf settings after a patch. If you were on the lower end before the patches might have just pushed the game to become too much for your system.

Also are you sure the lag only affects CoX? It could be your internet connection, or in the case of my laptop having something too close to the fan.
