Never happen. At least not soon. We used to have skin exactly like that but to many were paring it with equally white clothing. And well. It was becoming a city of nudists. They'll have to edit all the skin tight costume peaces so that there seems are clearly visible before they let that happen. Ether that or add a program patch that prohibits skin tight clothes and the actual skin from being the same color.

  7. Is there any possibility of us ever getting a stand alone, off line, free costume editor. Preferably with a picture taking feature. Really it needs a rather heavy over hall with the contently increasing number of peaces it's quite hard to look through them all. It needs some type of peace preview function. Little thumbnails of the peaces instead of merely a name.

I any case is this kind of thing possible with the current game engen?
Wasn't this discussed in another thread. I think I said something about it making certain powers, specifically anything that uses kicking, impossible. Though I have since changed my opinion. What do you thing about kicking via a hand stand like skateboarders do.

Is there a chance at any point that all zones could be made into pvp zones, there are many games out there that allow characters to roam all available maps and encounter player enemies as they level.

My brother used to play a game were if you attacked another player, your name went red for "x" period of time. You could only attack players within certain level ranges of yourself, and attacking other players and getting defeated means that you dropped items and influence to the person that killed you.
While your name was red the players that attacked you had no penalty or chance of loosing anything.

I dunno what the game was called and he only explained it to me once, but it sounded fun.
Is there any chance that CoX could incorperate a similair system??

    Thanks.
Getting attacked by random idiots when you're just minding you're own business? That sounds like lodes of fun. Especially when you're on a timed mission. Even more so when it would make the game all but unplayable to anyone who hasn't super slotted the heck out of there toon.
Ultimately regardless of my opinion I think the fact that you almost never hear about systems like that anymore is a certain indication on just how popular that idea would be.

I think they mentioned in another thread that they intended to release as much of the NPC costume peaces as possible. With the sheer number of peaces available there's no reasonable way they could plan on releasing all them as pay parts. WAY to expensive.

Guild Wars offers this feature and everyone in that game seems to love it.
Being able to Mail invitations would be a good way to do it. I know that there are some who play at odd times compared to there SG leader which can limit there ability to get there alts invited. This could easily fix that. Though some limitations would have to be added to prevent invitation spamming.

There not. Not now not ever. It's bin disused before. They don't want to turn this game into a total grind fest. Where ever few months you have to re up every one of your toons.

Given that, accordding to some accounts, this was actually already working well with the VG back items in I9, before they got redacted.
Wouldn't that interfere with the flight jump packs and clip with the ground at every fall. Of coarse they could fix that I guess. I'd kind of like seeing toons trying to get up from the legendary upturned turtle position. :P

What is the longstanding bug that has been the most elusive tracking down? One candidate must be the one where teammates enter an instanced mission and you see their location as "ArenaMap" or in their SG base.

Any hope that we're going to see "Team Looking For More" implemented this year?

If you could get one feature on the development schedule that currently isn't on there, what would it be?
Can we get a merge teams option to.

Snicker, that's crazy all right so crazy that the Devs promised us something exsactly like that a very long time ago. Like pre-CoV long ago. This space station zone along with personal bases called apartments are just a few of the things the rest I've long forgotten.
As it stands Pocket D is probably the closest thing we're ever going to get to a space station and the Mission Architect the closest to a personal base.

While a nice feature, certainly not NDA worthy IMOP, but certainly possible.

Which got me thinking, what else would I like to see that might need such a strong NDA for this game?

Custom power animations? Perhaps, especially if animations are tied to body points such as eyes or fists. Even more so if power animations can be tied to weapons, either hand held, or wrist mounted.
Tie that in with an overhaul of the costume creator, where you could customize eye color, separate left and right hands, arms, and legs for costume piece and color options, power colors, and animations, then you have a hefty, robust change to the game.

Yet, that still not enough for an entire issue. So while the Incarnate alpha slot is supposed to make an appearance, some of the content for the "end game system" should be presented as well.

Now, what about interactive environments throughout the game? Super Strength characters able to pick up a car and throw it instead of the rock toss of hurl (and I'm not talking about customizing the power). If there is no object present, then the default animation is used, but a hole is left in the ground.

Storm characters could use gale to knock cars into mobs for more damage.

The downside would be that such proper destruction would have a subtractive value of inf from the mob defeats in order to "pay" for city repair But it would be interesting to see Clockwork robots in Praetoria going to work to repair a damage sidewalk.
That costume options you mentioned a lot more complex than you realize. They'd have to majorly edit, or even completely remake every single costume peace. And any animation additions would also require serious debugging. Both of that together almost equals the sum total effort of releasing rouge. And if you think I'm wrong just try making a list off all the different costume peaces see how long it takes you. Really I'd like to see you try it'll be funny.

A majority of people constants a number grater than 50% of the total. If the zones weren't packed how douse this apply?

Make things better for me. Yes I am. Because like so many others I'm not a dedicated PVPer but I do want to PVP every once in a while. So I know what other like me want the best. Bit I am considering what those that frequently PVP want to. And if as you say the changes were bloody stupid thin it means the changes obviously wern't good enough.

I hate badging because it's hard, I want the badges tho so all the badges should be changed so you can get them really easily.. this is going to be better for everyone and if you dont like it go play a game that has hard badges.... ~ Sound familier???
Badgeing isn't something dependent on any sort of caricature class or slotting it's something that any body can just pick up and do at there leaser. And no badges has ever had a negative effect on other players.

Fare enough though that's a limitation of the number of people who can make them not the number of people who want to. As any SG regardless of size seems to have one, even me and I'm the only member left of the particular SG.
A very long time ago the developers mentioned that personal basses called apartments were being planed but, like the space station map, and I imagine a host of other things it was never mentioned again save by players who remember it.

Yes, "some" and as your the only one speaking out against my ideas that dome is a very small number.
All I want is a fare even game that anyone can win at least once in a while. If there is anyone with even something approaching a 100% victory rate thin it is a sign that something is very wrong. After all if you can't lose thin it's not a game.
Going God mode might be fun but only for you. I speak for the magority those pvp zones started out pack full of players but now thay are baron wastlands wit hnary a player to be found.
As it stands with so few people PVPing that unless something serious is done the whole PVP system might be better of removed. And now the that the PVP IO recipes are available Via Hero/Villein merits that's just a another nail in the PVP coffin.
Not to mention the endgame system promises to make lvl 50s even stronger tipping the scales farther off balance.
What good is a system that only 10% or less of players are using.

If you reply to this post, and I'm sure you will, try thinking about things from the perspective of those that don't play exactly like you. Because I'm trying to think about how to make things better for, if not everybody, the majority. If you don't like that I'm sure I can point you in the direction of some other games. Try Grand Chase they have good PVP system there based most around how much money you can sink into your caricature I'm sure you'll love it.

Maybe but if they made a say a AOE power that suppressed IOs of both player and opponent you can bet that positively everybody would use it. Because while many pickup and use an IO or two not so many super slot it. Which means that the PVP is only really fun for those that do. Meaning that there is no, nor can be anything such as a casual PVPer. Used to be that only dedicated players would do PVP now with IOs they have to be almost obsessed do to the huge time and effort it takes to super slot. Most would rather be playing the game than doing number crunching.

One way they could fix this would be to incorporated something like a upgrade adviser to help plan and give suggestions as to what to upgrade to. It could even be used to make something like a limited version of player generated quests with the recipes and components going into a separate storage slots. I mean I can imagine how much important stuff can get lost just because you forget to clean out your storage slots.

Say did you notice that every time you meat an obnoxious player in the game they all seem to be super slotted. An odd coincidence.

Good theory except that the devs have stated in the past that they don't want to raise the minimum system requirements. And an over hall/serious development of the game engine would do just that.

Though considering the threads that the Devs have started resonantly a major city wide graphics overall wouldn't be out of the question. Overhauling Costume peaces, buildings, pretty much the whole city to be equal to Pretoria and all the new stuff. that sort of thing. That could make the game definable as COH2.
