    OK, so i have my Elec/NRG blaster to 50... and a good freind sent me a build he thought would be the best for me.

  2. xLone... the AE building MAIN room is where you get missions and gather a team... I DO use Studio B if I am working on an Arc.

    So Let me Clarify... My Suggestions are as follows.

    Suppress AUTO HIT/Toggle Powers in WW... the noise of a perma heal or spines is VERY annoying when you are trying to purchase items on the auction.

    Suppress ALL AoE and Toggels in AE building... reduces lag in gameplay. OR if the Devs would eb so kind as to think of a way to allow players to be asked to team and join the same mission, even though they may be in different AE buildings (i.e. one in Atlas, three in Bricks, and 2 in Talos) etc etc.

    SCreaming power supperssion for under Atlas' Globe or Recluse in G'ville would be TOOL, being that has NOTHING to do with actual GAME PLAY.. thats CC's and Squatting.
  3. Regardless of HOW they do it... its till something the devs need to look at.. it will not cause a lag in GAMEPLAY and will be the best for all players.

    GM's or DEVS WHAT FO YOU THINK?? Please give us your opinion on this.
  4. I am discouraged that a Developer or GM hasnt posted thier opinion to this subject, or even posted another suggestion. AAMOF, the Lag that I encountered in AE once was so bad that i lost connection to mapserver over 5 times in an hour... I almost wanted to fight PLayNC for a refund and not come back to Paragon city.

    It would be easier, i agree, to just ask that all the pulse powers be shut off while in WW/AE/BM and HOPEFULLY the remainder of the COX community would respect that. But obviously, some feel that its not their problem.
  5. Let me clarify something... if I want to CREATE/Author a Mission arc, i do utilize the Studio B. But if I want to PLAY or TEST a mission/arc, i must use the Main room of the AE building. This is where the lag occurs becuase of the toggles and sometimes just the sheer amount of People looking for teams, etc etc.

    To answer you other question... As of present, all members of a team must be in the same zone to enter mission. I would love it if I could be in KR while the rest of my team is in Atlas or PI. But unless you recruit your team via tells or Coalition, it would be more difficult to get a team going.
  6. the LAG i am talking about is the same level as a rikti raid in atlas... some folks never get a chance to actually DO anything simply becasue of the LAG from all the action. THAT is almost unavoidable.. it takes away from GAMEPLAY... but in a SAFE environment, such as WW and AE... there is no use for someone to lose connection to mapserver due to all the toggles that a toon doesnt need to have activated.

    Travel powers are fine... its the auto hit toggles that cause the annoyance and lag.

    After being on COH for a while now... i would like to suggest, not only for annoyance factor, but also attributed to lag in game, that Power Suppression should be used inside Wentworths AND the recently added Architect Entertainment Building.

    Its not so much the CLICK powers in Wentworths, its the toggles (Auto Hit powers, Heals, Spines, etc etc.) The constant sounds of these can get annoying while you peruse through the Wentworths Experience. Besides, we have to hear the same sounds while in mission, much less while we are shopping.

    Also, with the newly added Architect Entertainment Buildings in every Non Hazard Zones... they are quickly crowded. With powers on and glowing it creates LAG and slows gameplay. While in the AE building, there are no reason to utilize your powers as there is no threat.

    Just these two SLIGHT changesd DEFINITELY make Paragon City much more friendly to visit and stay a while.
