    thanks...that clears up alot...
  3. it seems cool...how in the wide world of sports do you know whether or not you are on vip status? free is easy to figure...but i play by pre-paid time cards...and how will my current status and character count be affected? i read what i've can so far but i'm still a little foggy on some of the details...
  4. devices are great if you are running a theme based character...caltrops will keep a room full of critters in a room and will do damage to anything that steps on them...pums, wolves, and a few other critters are not slowed, however, they still take damage, i kept pacing of the turtle, i had tried posi's blast...however i never got to see the proc go off...web grenades are cool..they come in the handiest when soloing, much like mines which i no longer use...cloaking device is far superior to stealth from the pools, and unlike hide...you don't unstealth when interacting with an object...sixslot it with luck of the gambler and with freebird on hover...you are well defended...time bomb is kinda useless...smoke grenade sixslotted with darkwatcher pretty much blind anything...what can i say...i like devices "D
  5. Viewpoint is an important factor as well...even with my higher level characters...when moving around a map...i find that zooming all the way out, (or out as far as you are comfortable with), and rocking the camera to a higher vantage point will help me navigate the map and avoid higher level mobs at the same time...situational awareness is key to survival...plus the view looks cool
  6. the closest thing i can find to the rules are in the faq's. i tried citing these rules in a post and apparently that wasnt good enough...people have mentioned the rules...even cut and pasted a rule or two into a reply to a post where i apparently broke the rules...ok...now i know i broke them...but could someone please direct me to where the rules are posted so i don't screw up again? any help would be appreciated
  7. yeah...i got that part and have tried it several times...with no luck it seems...i'll do it again and try the refresh trick...*crossing fingers* thanx again.
  8. thank you all...i'll give it a go and see how it comes out.
  9. i try to edit a published story and when i click republish...my changes don't seem to take...if i unpublish...i lose my number and any stat on the republish...so is there a procedure for editing a published story?
