Psyosis heard the cry and quickly felt it out, for him it was easier to sense pain and negitive emotions. He quickly locked on and went to find the owner. He came to a women who was kneeling, a of the cadets had found her before him. He walked over quickly and noticed that she to was a psychic, it was one thing that you could just tell about a person. "What happened?" He reached out and pulled the pain from her into himself, he had spent years learning how to do this without hurting himself much, he locked the pain away somewhere, no one was realy sure how he stored it away, but it was what allowed him to leave his home.
-
While Alan let his furtration out on Lord Raymond, Psyosis spotted him as he followed Embher, who wasn't very talkitive or his friend. "Thank you, looks like I'll have to wait abit before I talk to Alan though." He felt something rather interestting as emotions pentrated his psychicc barrier, it was fear and nervesness. He walked over to Radon and Cele, "Good Morning to you both, I'm Psyosis from Hero Corp. Would either of you know Alan?" Meanwhile he felt the mans nervesness, Interseting, kinda the dread of death. "Are you felling alright?" He asked Radon.
-
Alan spotted the group from yesterday and went to join them, never taking his eye off the bane of his existance. "Go ahead someone, hit me." Came Lord Raymond's voice, Alan felt very in the mood to hit anyone, just seeing Psyosis made him angry. Alan didn't punch, last time he had tried it he had cut up his palm, but he had devoloped a decent kick. Approching from behind, "RAYMOND!" and with that Alan kicked him.
(OOC Note: Psyosis was mentioned before incase anyone cares.) -
(OOC Note: I'm so behind)
Alan got up after a nightmare about everyone from the other day dieing at the hands of a man with no eyes. He woke up and noticed his roommate was gone. He quickly got dressed and ran without giving his dream much thought, he had learned to live with them. He hadn't had a single good dream since he got his powers. He made it in time for the flag raising, Alright not to late.
Then he saw something that made his blood run cold.
Behind Embher was a man who he knew ll to well. He was 6 foot 2 with a eyes that said, yes I know more tham you and I'm furthering the gap everyday. His hair was dark brown with wings of white. The oddest thing was he had this feel of depression, but you couldn't help but feel good around him. "Hello sir, I was wondering if you could tell me where a cadet named Alan Michov or Mended ribs if he goes by that. Oh sorry, I forgot, I'm Psyosis, lead psychologist of Hero Corp." They way he talked made it almost immpossible to feel uncomfortable, Alan wanted to rip him in two, he was the reason he was here instead of being out on the streets doing something important like shutting down a Dyne lab.
"I'm sorry to hear that Doctor." He looked at Masheen, "Don't waste the bullets, I have no interset in killing you. I was hoping to make a deal." He paused for a moment. "Your going to send him to the Hero Academy in Galaxy then, pity. Still it's not my buisness if you want to attack them with heroes about instead of off in the city where noone could help them." He said not even trying to mask what he knew. He looked at Masheen, he was impressed, in his day this was something out of a book. He wondered what else he had missed over the last eighteen years. -
(OOC Post: And where in my post do I surrgest otherwise...as of now.)

Yes, quite impressive. I was able to play with it at WonderCon. So many freakin' sliders, it's insane.
[/ QUOTE ]
Was there any sliders to make fat heroes? I've been wanting to make an imperfect body type since I started playing. -
"I hope it safe, but the council can't have turret all over the island, right. I mean they are fight the Sky Raiders...you can shoot, right?" Fox weighted the options, if he took to long to get there more people would die, either at Requiem's hands or the sleeper agents. He was willing to risk it, which wasn't at all like him.
He heard someone ahead and carefully reached for a knife, a hero came out from around the corner. "I am Lieutenant Hawk of the Super Group 'Final Justice'. State your names and Super Group affiliation; I must inform you that if you are not currently in the care of a Super Group we of 'Final Justice' are obligated to protect you."
Fox stared at the woman, were heroes realy thinking like this, protecting thier own over the public. "Fox Soldier, I don't belong to any group." He responded without thinking. "I...we...help is appericated, but we don't..." He couldn't think of a proper way to continue without turning down thier aid, he would be the first to admit that he didn't want to go it alone. He wondered if the others were going to follow. -
Fox Soldier looked into the sewers, he realy didn't have any choice, either it was wait for the boat to get him there or this. He dulled his olfactory nerves by going into a light trance. He looked at the others and under his breath said, "This had better be fast." He went down into the sewers and looked for the other hero, he saved my life, I can trust him, I mean he could have let that thing break me in half. Feeling alittle safer in this knowledge he caught up with him. "Uh. I pretty sure the sewers don't run out to international waters, so where are we going?" His eye were quickly adjusting to the low light.
(OOC Note: Fox's trances allow him to enhance all his sense or dull some of them, the later abilty is handy when you do a sewer mission.)

Fox Soilder felt quiltly relieved when Rock-Hopper took control (at least in his opion) and was up until Wolffe happy to see other heroes were going to join in the fight. Wolffe was to much like a dog for him, but he wasn't going to refuse the help, not yet anyway. He said he would kill the Sleeper Agents, kill them. He couldn't think of anyway to stop them, but being so willing to say he would scared Fox.
He tried to hide it, "Striga? Well as good a place as any. Anyone got a way to get there though, I can't fly and it will get to deep to jump." Fox thought about it, "We could take one of those smuggler boats out, it will take a while to get thier, but..." He cringed, Requiem had threatened to kill one hostage ever ten minutes, how long did they have, how long would a boat ride take. "Anyone know a faster way?" -
"You missed the news?" Fox decided not to wait for an answer. "The Council is attacking the city with civilian, they go mad and attack everything insight. But thier innocent people underneth, and if you try and subdue them and the terminate, not quite sure I want to know what that means." Fox looked down at the ground, he couldn't believe how calm his voice was, it would all catch up with him and he would have real reactions, he hoped. "They have Council symbols on thier heads and red glowing eyes. You seen anything like that?" He had an idea and pulled a 'barrowed' Cyro pistol out of the duffle bag, "This might atleast slow them down." As he came to the realizaton that it was at best a temporary solution, but they had little to work with.
(OOC Note: Tick-Tok is a clockwork right?) -
Foxreturned from the bar with a duffle bag slung over his shoulder, he was wearing a vest that had 20 knives on it and the bag contained spares. He was ready for war, even if he didn't know what he was going to do yet. He had to stop the Council some how, but they were using civilans as a meat sheild. He looked at the arsorted heroes, Fox had never been a leader, he had saddly always been a follower. Today it would be different, he would take control of the situation. He realized he had no clue as to how to procede and looked over the heroes again. "Anyone actually have a plan?" He knew he couldn't handle the sleeper agent alone, they need to work together, to fight with a sort of organization, he just didn't know how. He couldn't believe this was happening, it was a nightmare come to life. Your a twisted man Requiem.

Fox noticed the TVs in the electronics store change from the Council symbol, he ran over and watched, it sank in, that tentical man, the beast. He had tryed to kill civilians, Civilian. He stared at the stunned Statesman on the screen. I tryed to kill them, I did. It had to be done...stop...your thinking like a soilder again, no even worse than that. I'm rationalizing, but how could I have know, they were wearing regular clothes, but they were monsters, monsters. But they had families, lives, families. They can't control themselve, they have to be stopped, they have to...I can't do that, they don't have control over what thier doing, they never asked for this. Thier was one solution, I could stop this if I go into deep trance, I could...NEVER, I'm a hero now, I have to do whats best for the people...What is best for the people?
He stared at Statesman on the screen, he was recovering, Fox hoped to get some encourgement for Statesman. The cities first hero would know what was best. He thought about it and walked away. He wasn't going to listen to Stateman, or anyone else, he was going to make this choice for himself...whatever it may be.
(OOC Note: Melodramatic maybe, is it what would happen, for him, probly. Also, I have no problems with soilders, Fox Soilder has many issuse from being one, so it's all in character.) -
(OOC Note: The only reason Fox Soilder has yet to have problems killing them is he doesn't know thier civilains. He doesn't look past the Council symbol on thier head and he belives people who 'play' soilder deserve to die. If he knew that they were innocent people he would have serious problems. I kinda expected that to be in Requirm's demands, Fox has already help <sorta> kill one and that alone will tear him up inside, he is just ignorant at the moment.)
-
(OOC Post: This might not be such a good idea. RPs thrive on having few storys going on at once and doing this will divide the group so many way that we will never realy do anything. I speak for my self, as I could be wrong, but I think we should just stick with the Council plan for now. We will eventually defeat the Council plan and then would be a good time to bring in new stories that anyone cooks up. Thats just me, if anyone doesn't agree tell me so and I'll shut up.)
-
Fox Soilder checked his bandana was atill on tight and went to thank the hero who had saved him. "Thanks for back there," his leg was very sore, but that should pass and no broken bones. "I'm Fox Soilder, long story," he said before he could ask about his name. "You have eny better idea of whats going on that I do?" He said looking around for more of...he didn't want to know what they were called. Fox had caught the knife comment, but right now he wanted to know what was going on. He also wanted to get his spare knives out of the bar.
(OOC Note: Uh did I miss read Blood Wolffe's last post, he said something about an over turned bus and the monsters inside of it. Sorry, but it looks like we forgot.) -
Alan stared at the his insane roommate, Does the FBSPA even check other heroes. "No, I'm a student, by force. So Patchy...uh why are you called Patchwork." Alan hoped that his roommate was realy there, he didn't think a person like this could exist in real life. He refused to question his sanity. Alan never questioned the lack of tack in just asking a person about thier origin, but he thats just the what he was, devoid of tact, somewhat creepy, and have few redeeming quailties.
Dr. Malifarious felt the hair on the back of his neck stand up as a gaze bore into him. Behind him stood a man in worn jeans, a black leather jacket, and, most noteable, he had no eye, just pitch black sockets, the skin around it had peeled back revealing bleched white bone. "Hello Doctor, I belive I could be of assistance to you." His smile reaveal bleached white teeth. "I can tell you were...Buck Shott...and...Tommy Gunn will be tomarrow. Of course thier is a small price, are you interseted Doctor?"
(OOC Note: Like I said, Mended Ribs' story would more or less become part of others. Hope it works into your plan Manofmanychars and feel free to turn him down.) -
Fox Soilder knew his knives were no good on the behmoth things, or his kicks. But the one with tenticals growing out of it's body seemed like a good bet. Not nearly as mucular, but down right frightening. He had a nagging urge to go into deep trance, but he couldn't assure he wouldn't kill them. As it approched he got in front of it, he was scaried out of his mind, but that wasn't going to stop him. He delivered a hard kick into the things cheast and three tenticals proptly grabbed him. Fox's free hand stbbed the one holding his other hand and he was soon upside-down. "CRAP!" H efelt a funny feeling, like he was getting weaker, he paniced and punched the thing square in the face. His punch caused it to stop sapping his life, as it stumbled back. He grinned and then the tenticals gribbing his waist and leg tightened to crushing pressure and Fox screamed in pain.
(OOC Note: I'm not sure what dark powers they have, but I'm assuming they have dark armor. Anything else they can do?) -
Fox Soilder felt the change in heat through his enhanced senses and yelled to the new hero "RUN!" He took off at a mad dash and then a bus feel over, then things got out. He was going to need more knives. He regrouped with the other heroes, as close to possible, more or less they were standing in what could pass as a spread out group. He pulled out his two remianing knives and looked at the smoke cloud and at the new arrivals. Why God, why did my life have to become a horror movie. He was standing infron of an electronic store and saw the news channels on the TV display.
"Reports of bombing continue in the greater Steel Canyon area..."
"We are standing here were Task Force Solidarity entered this biulding after reports of two employes going insane. They are one of five task forces organized just by positron and..." A huge explosion came from high up in the building and the feed went dead.
"Reports of the Night Watch causeing the blast have yet to be confirmed, when reached for comment Lance Corporal said 'Find someone else to bug, I have four men in the hospital, I don't have time for this.'
Also the Paragon Times bombing has.."
"We take you live to Statesman giving a breifing at city hall. The area is being secured by heroes and...wait Statesman is speaking."
"The situation of the..." The feed went dead as a council symbol went on the screen
In Atlas Park
"The situation of the bomings..." Statesman stopped as he say the light on the cameras go dead.
Synapse who was had been keeping his eye on the crowd asked "What just happened?" quietly so only Statesman could hear.
"Things are going to get worse." He said matter-of-factly, the Council symbols showed up on the news crew monitors, "Much worse, we need to organize the hero quickly, tell the rest of the Phalanx and tell them to get more Task Forces ready and hold them, we need more intell, get Manticore to lead at task force into council bases and have him find anything he can. You got that."
"Right." Synapse took off at superspeed to get things going. Over the crowd of reports was a muble that slowly died down till the only sound was Statesman drumming his index finger on the podeium.
Fox looked at the Council symbols and thought So this is what the apoclapse looks like. He turned back to the monstriousity, he didn't know what was going on, but he was going to fight to the end. An out of chatacter heroic thought of dieing trying.
(OOC Note: I just wanted to do a few news channels and I figured that Statesman would make an offical comment sooner or later so here he is waiting for the Council demands.
Also I don't know if Synapse is a super speeder, but I've always pictured him as one.) -
Fox Soilder rubbed his burnt hand and preceded to recovered his knife from the Warwolf's neck and cleaned all three on the downed beasts fur. The Gunner had wiped out all of them, even the one he had stunned. He looked at the newer comer and the reality of what he said set in as his adrenline went down. He had lost faimly in the explosion, he had seen things like this happen, back in his life before he was a hero, but he had never realy seen it. He walked over to the ruins and avioded the wolves busily digging. He went into a light trance and using somewhat heightened sense sniffed the rubble, he didn't have to get close.
He didn't have the sensory skills of dogs or realy any animal that was ment for it, but he could distingish the smells. And as a general rule all explosion smelt the same, but they had a slight difference depending on what set them off. He concentrated on that smell till it was sumitted to memory, maybe he could find out what had caused it.
Then he heard a loud thumps and "It's on now, mate." and made a quick turn to see the monster.
"Holy..." He was cut off as another hero took it down. For a second he felt relived that he didn't have to fight it, then it grabbed the new hero's leg. It pulled itself up, Fox reacted. He kicked the thing in the face, it looked at him as if nothing had happened and then used the other hero as a crude club and sent them both flying. His soilderness took over and as soon as he stopped rolling he had a knife ready to throw, it hit the beast in the leg, hoping to slow it down, but the blade barely went in, a single step and it was dislodged.
(OOC Note: I forgive you for writing for my character this time.) -
(OOC Note: Sure, I liked the story.)
-
Fox looked at the toppled building as the last Warwolf went down. "What the hell was tha.!" He lloked aroung for some council robot or soilder who had launched a rocket at the building, even enhanced sensed couldn't find anything. "Anyone see what caused that?" He asked the group in general, I don't think the Council has ever tried sucide bombers, some other group then? He wished he could be more sure. He had a terrible thought, It could have been the band, they would d things like that to places that fired a mutant. He hoped someone had seen more than him.
-
Alan looked at his roommate and wondered where Ole Shotter, his former roommate, had gone. The simple fact was, most people didn't want to sleep in the same room as a man who smiles in his sleep. "Hey," he paused, and decided how to proceed. "I'm Mended Ribs or Alan, have you been at here long." Alan took off his rib pattern jacket and looked at the gap left by Reaper Man's scythe and sighed, I don't have the money to get this fixed.
-
The knife in Foxes hand flipped so he holding by the blade and ready to throw at the gunner. Then he caught up with what was going on and fell out of the trance he was in, his enhanced senses gone with it. He smiled weakly, "No problem." There was a breif calm, he normaly won't waste this, but he had to know. "Wolf curse?" The gunner didn't have a chance to answer, Warwolves were coming in a small pack. He didn't know much about the creatures, but all he needed to know was that they weren't human anymore, he hoped.
He didn't go into a full trance, his senses weren't as sharp, but he shouldn't need to go all out. He flicked the knife through the air and into the leading Warwolf's neck. As it collapsed all the others caught his scent and charged. He drew a knife in each hand and took the first head on. He ducked under a swipe and planted the blade in the it's neck, they may not be humans, but he was determined to kill them as quickly as possible and granted this wasn't very fast. The second was taken down by a swift kick followed up by a bone cracking punch, the creature was out cold. He turned to the remainer, they wanted to kill him, but were afriad for thier own lives, he thought grimly There is still something human left in them. He waited for the boldest to make it's move and enjoyed the brief break in the fight. His knuckles felt like they were on fire. -
(OOC Note: Besides that you ignored my idea, I won't have a problem with that if you gave an explantion. And I don't realy want this space stuff. So what do you say we have a do over.)
-
As the odd women vanished Fox Soilder striahtened out his head. What the hell just happened, I came to the bar after finding...okay I'll work on that later. So I ordered something and I must have fallen asleep and now...now what's happening. He got up from behind the over turned table. He wasn't the tallest man alive, about two inches below average, his hair was covered by a green bandana, the little that showed was a light orange, he looked pretty normal. Then a bullet went past his head.
Fox Soilder changed from there, he stood ready for action, it wasn't a huge change, but the total of many small changes. His senses became more acute and he pulled one of three knives out. He didn't think, he fought. He lunged out through the hole and immedately a Warwolf tryed to kill him. A quick kick and it was on it's back. He brought his knife down in an arc for it's neck. He only stopped because a dog was growling at him. All canines hated him, even a Warwolf will get its heckles up from just a wiff of his scent. The Warwolf tryed to take advantage of this pause by clawing off Fox's face. He stopped its hand with out thinking and then hit it on the head with the hilt of the knife and knocked it out. He got up quickly and he glared at the dog. Something about a real dog growling at him caused him to take it more seriously, he lifted the knife without thinking and got ready to kill. Part of him wondered what breed looked so much like a wolf.
(OOC Note: Anything even alittle bit canine wants him dead, it's not that he is evil or anything like that, it's just something about him. And yeah it's one of Wolfe Gunner's wolf that's infront of him.)
