I like your top 10 list. I would add cut scenes at the end of arcs.
On topic.(or topic that has been discussed the last couple of pages)
I was in a huge super group. My wife and I are the only ones left. Everyone went back to SWG (the most bugged game in the MMORPG genre) because they wanted content. My wife and I stayed because we love the fast paced fighting of CoH. We will both be 50 by I3. I really hope this epic AT is worth doing. There is no way I will do the same missions over with another toon epic or not. There really needs to be more added for the highend game. I lost my entire SG because they ran out of things to do. My missions now are getting boring. Save these lawyers, save these scientist, recover these relics. And when you do get a good mission for an AV, there is no real difference. It is just like killing a really hard boss. You get no cut scene or extra graphic. I just wish something would happen other than reading: We got some new infomation from Terra, it seems like they are trying poison the population....blah blah blah.....go kill 40 DE and see if you can find out more. I mean come on. But I have to give credit to the Respec Trail. That mission was awesome. I have done it 5 times now. It was so cool to have a goal in a mission. -
Issues are not expansions. They are patches with slight expansion. Lets face it. This game had very little area to begin with. Most people were out of KR the first day. Within a week they were in Talos. A month later they were out of Bricks. This game by far had the least amount of explorable area that I have ever played. So they have to keep adding zones or there will be nothing left to do. Not to mention most of the areas are reduntant. Its either buildings or waste land. There are a couple unique spots but mostly buildings or waste land. They have sole spawn missions with make up for it a lot. But lets be honest, how long would you keep playing if you only had Eden to keep running around in day after day. Don't get me wrong. I love this game. I'm glad they are adding more and more with each issue. But these are patches with necessary add-ons.

Let's just hope I3 is tested a LOT more than I2 was before official release.

Issue 3 is in internal test already. QA reports suggest that it is already better than sucktastic. Your mileage may vary.

So you're saying Issue 2 was sucktastic at release (OP: I hope I3 > I2. Gaffer: I know I3 > sucktastic.)? There were some bugs, but I can vouch that I2 was far better than sucktastic! =)

Most of us have been here through Issue 2 and I can confirm that it was better than sucktastic. It was mega super duper sucktastic. I don't know whether to enphasise the "suck" or the "astic". To say it had a few bugs was the understatement of the year. Please keep Issue 3 as long as you need. Test the living snot out of it. -
I'm doing my best not to get my hopes up. Watch it be a Rikti monkey loose in city hall.

Fellow heroes, disturbing information has come to light. [ . . .] We believe that this will occur at some point over the next several days, but the authorities are not yet sure. All heroes should be on the look out for anything strange in the city. Be on guard; we have reason to believe that this bodes ill for our metropolis.

yeah and the big event would be a painting of a krayt dragon
Hmmmm . . . I wonder if SOE has offered to buy out NSoft and will now take over development of COH. Stateman's description would seem to fit such a scenario!

That would be sooo cool. A krayt dragon in Atlas Park. Perhaps an army of ancient night sisters invading Talos Island. -

I believe EQPS2 gave a bonus for grouping. This is what CoH should do. Or at least give the same for grouping as for solo. I play a blaster, my wife plays a defender and my son plays a tank. Why should we invite others if it is going to decrease our xp. The missions are so easy that we never need a controller or scrapper. So they should either up the difficulty of the mission (which I believe they should do no matter what) and/or take away the xp penalty for grouping.

There IS a bonus for grouping.

There is? I honestly thought it was the exact opposite. I thought you gained less xp in a group then solo. I thought I even tested this out once a long time ago. Oh well, wouldn't be the first time I was wrong. Thanks for correcting me. -
