I have no idea who this fellow is, but if you want to see definition of Hero, he's it.
I've only been playing a week, and I've met some very helpful people - it's been quite nice to meet so many good folks, helps to balance out the days I'm dealing with idiots
. But if anyone stands out of the crowd, it's a bloke called The Taxi.
He spends his gaming time in the Hollows, transporting lower levels, giving tours, buffing us all like mad, and generally appearing in the nick of time to save our hides with a heal. More often than not he merely gets a badly spelled thank-you as a reward and even gets pestered by ungrateful people who want even more out of him, but he still helps them. He doesn't ask for a thing in return, he just says he's doing his job.
The fellow deserves a medal or something. He's a great example, and I hope when I finally get some levels under my belt and a bit (maybe more than a bit!) of patience, I can pick up where he may eventually leave off and haunt a few newbie areas, helping out like I should be.
